    Ayami ages backwards. She actually looks younger now than she did in SG
    Thanks for being honest and saying the music's not really your cup of tea, and for giving her a listen. As big of a fan of BM as I am, I don't actually listen to or enjoy metal – pop is much more my thing, so Ayami's music is very much my cup of tea. 🙂

    🌸 🏫 /🌷 I'm more of a Rock 'n' Roll guy, but I love Ayami.
    Her comeback has been amazing.
    The song 'Daydreaming' is one of my favorites. Much more fast paced than this one:

    All three of the 2011 seniors (Ayaka, Airi and Ayami) did a sort of talk show format video with other Sakura Gakuin members as guests. Ayami's low-key humor is often overlooked.

    I think I'm in the same camp as you. If I didn't know who Ayami was and her connection with SG and Babymetal, I'd see this song and think, She's pretty dam cute, but I have no interest in listening to this. The connection to her makes me stop and pay attention and I'm happy about that. Even if its not my thing, it made me smile and I'm never going to complain about that.

    Not my kinda jam but pretty warm and fuzzy song. Nice to know those setbacks in the Nendo tests didn't keep her down though.

    Your struggle to explain your impression of Ayami (innocent, cute, cuddly etc) is so relatible when it comes to SG members. I think the expression you are looking for is the japanese word " Kawaii", your description fits very well, don´t you think?

    I like it. I guess I'm a rare one that loves anything from metal to rock to pop and even a little rap mixed in. It just depends on the mood I am in that day. Recently I discovered Reol which I am digging quite a bit.
    Sometimes if I'm pissed off, I want to marinate it with some metal. Or I'm stressed and need some calm pop music to chill me out.
    I think some hardcore metal heads that enjoy Babymetal but don't like pop might actually have a pop fan deep down inside them dying to come out!

    What is also great to see: sometimes Ayami is at Babymetal concerts and some other SG events, so she still cares.
    Mori -sensei even had drinks (yes alcoholic) with Ayami and some others some what recently. Mori was a bit surprised they were drinking, it didn't fit his worldview yet, but obviously they are old enough now. 🙂

    I watched it right before the Babymetal concert yesterday. Proudly waved my SG flag and I could see how Moa's and Momoko's faces lit up even more, when they saw it (sadly there were only two flags). And I got some positive feedback from a japanese group for doing that. Was anybody also in Berlin?

    I just listen to whatever catches my fancy, and I really enjoy that 80s citypop thing Ayami has going. I still think she could benefit from having a band to identify with rather than just being solo, but I support her either way.

    Looking at Ayami-chan, it's easy to forget that she's actually the most senior of the Sakura Gakuin graduates (she'll be 24 on April 29th, 2020). Cuter than any button could hope to be, and a charming personality, there's no doubt about that. 🙂

    There is a very funny companion video to Yui's Depression in which Ayami wishes she was as cool as Ayaka Miyoshi. They switch bodies, much to Ayaka's dismay.

    This is not exactly my kind of music, though you cannot chase me away with it on the other hand. But since I like her personality (she's such a kind and… elegant person) I decided to support her by buying her music.

    Ayami is the only person in the world who could fill Yuimetal's position and have the full respect and acceptance of Su, Moa, and fans. If she wanted to. I think a Yui/Ayami collaboration would be more likely to happen and would make the fans go crazy!
