アイドルグループ「AKB48」の高橋みなみさん、平田梨奈さん、高橋朱里さんが9月29日、東京都内で行われた次世代型クラウド通訳サービス「J-TALK」の記者発表会に登場した。
ジェイトークは、スマートフォンやタブレットを利用した安価な通訳サービスで、ユーザーを日本国内のコールセンター型の通訳センターと接続するだけでなく、インターネット経由で仲介することで、個人通訳者も自宅から通訳サービスを提供できる仕組み。10月からは法人向けサービスとして展開し、11月以降海外旅行者や訪日旅行者向けのサービスも順次実施する予定。
発表会では、アメリカ出身の平田さんが外国人客、朱里さんがカフェ店員を演じて、サービスのデモンストレーションを行い、通訳者を担当した高橋さんが、堂々と英語を披露した。しかし、平田さんのアドリブの英語には対応できず「リハにないやつ……」と大慌てだった。

J-talk is a cheap interpretation service for Smartphone and tablets, which not only allows users to connect with the interpretation center under the form of a call center within Japan, but also enables personal interpreters to provide interpretation service at home via the Internet.

a good combo of japanesse & English in the video Takamina spoke English well than Juri she only spoke all japanesse while Rina & Minami spoke Cleary better & i bet Halloween is more exciting in Japan than America ? 🎃
