– So (So on my day off, I went to the theater)
I had two days off and spent a whole day watching all the movies – I went on a solo movie theater tour
– Really? One time I watched it at a theater near my house There were these high school girls~ I watched the earliest morning show, you know? (Seon-a being super productive) So I watched it like this (The students got up as soon as the credits rolled)
The credits started and they rushed out, so— (I kinda chased after them to hear their reaction LOL)
I quickly followed them and while we were washing our hands (LOL) (LOL) – Did you ask if they liked it?
– No I just kept listening to what they were saying! Ahh~ Had my hat pulled down and mask on while washing my hands They were like, “It was good, it was good”—thankfully that’s what they said You’re so cute LOL (Anyway, that happened) But doesn’t it feel more like home than a theater? (Feels like chillin’ at home)

At first, for me I was just super excited, like… I couldn’t believe I was really a singer filming a music video I was excited but nervous too I think it was fun overall, but honestly, it was really tough (Didn’t even have time to sleep)

It was crazy hectic We’d sleep like two hours a day Sleeping in the car, then being told “Time to go, wake up” (Getting up right away)
And we’d just go, like (So many sleepless nights because of school)
We really barely slept back then – We had to go to school too

– How did we even survive that But it was fun, really All those typical debut-era moments (For real) – No way we could do that now LOL
– No way We just don’t have the energy anymore (But looking back, it’s all fond memories)

They were all just begging me not to “DAHYUN, please… let’s find a middle ground” (That’s how ‘mild version’ Dubu-grandpa was born)
So I was like, “Okay, fine,” and that’s what we went with (Anyway, [What is Love?] is still a masterpiece)

It’s really on here Watching this just reminded me of something The last time I watched a movie alone I cried that day For real? – It’s your first movie, you know?
– Yeah And I also cried on the day the members came to support me – Premiere day
– Right Everyone was wearing masks that day But just looking at their eyes made me tear up There was this feeling I can’t even explain Like I felt comforted, but also kinda like “omgomgomg” Like I was about to burst I seriously got choked up then It was really good though~ (So thankful)

It was just wild seeing a different side of you We’re always seeing the same stuff and acting the same But when you’re acting, you’ve gotta show all kinds of expressions (DAHYUN’s voice and tone even felt different)
Even your tone and voice were totally different So it all just felt super fascinating (Wait, is that Seon-a really our DAHYUN unnie?!) (Seeing DAHYUN on screen was wild for herself and the members too)
So even I was like, “What is happening?” – Seeing myself on a movie screen…
– Right? Just the fact that it was in theaters That must’ve felt so unreal! Honestly, I was just thankful it even got released Congrats (Suddenly sentimental)

And when I say “Seon-a,” she’s like “Seon-a unnie!” She always called me that when we’re working I think there’s just something about the character names Like yelling “Seon-a!” or “Ji-eun!” I just wanted to try that out ([M/V] Jinyoung, DAHYUN – You Are the Apple of My Eye OST Part.2)
Oh this is the making-of, huh? This was the first time I wrote lyrics and composed – For a music video?
– No, for an OST When I first started filming [You Are the Apple of My Eye] The very first scene on the first day was also my first appearance (For real? That’s wild)
So like, my debut scene was literally the first shoot, first take (She filmed her first scene super nervous)
– I was so nervous
– I bet you were They had to attach the mic right here I swear they probably heard my heartbeat through it (They seriously might have heard it)
– It was that loud
– You should’ve asked – I was so nervous
– “Did you guys hear my heartbeat?” I was really shaking – For the first shoot
– Makes total sense But as we kept going, I started to feel more relaxed (Getting emotional again) With this movie, I got to write and compose a song too And make my acting debut (My very first movie became such a meaningful project)
– It was so special
– Super precious to me (She really was Seon-a back then…)
– That was really that era
– Totally Wanna watch something else now? (Lunch Squad’s true baby chick era) We’re wearing the Hanlim Arts High School uniforms (The DA-CHAE-TZU uniform days got us feelin’ soft) (Throwback to when they had the most fun on V App)

– I know right (On a trip to Jeju Island) (Lunch Squad was always stuck together)
– We did so much together

– That’s wild Back when we were roommates, CHAEYOUNG had the top bunk I had the bottom, and we shared that bed In the same room with TZUYU – That’s hilarious
– It was nice – Yeah, it was fun
– But in that tiny room – I still don’t get how the three of us slept in there
– Same Even our drawer was just a 3-compartment one (DA-CHAE-TZU peacefully sharing one drawer)
– Yeah
– We split it one by one, DA-CHAE-TZU style For real – And all nine of us used to ride in just one Carnival van
– Yup – Sitting in that tiny middle seat!
