森下公則は、1946年生まれ。2003年に「キミノリ モリシタ」をスタートさせた。同ブランドは、東京ファッションウィークに参加した後、2007年からパリファッションウィークに進出。その後、20ヵ国70店舗以上で展開されていたが、ブランド休止をしていた。
なお森下は2010年に「08サーカス（08sircus）」を立ち上げ。2012年からウィメンズの展開をスタートした。
再始動したキミノリ モリシタでは、メンズのテーラリングをベースとしながらミリタリーやワークの要素を取り入れたアイテムを展開。森下自身が職人と共に現場に入り仕上げることで、唯一無二の表情を持つプロダクトを生み出すことを目指すという。2025年秋冬コレクションでは、過去に支持された日本の伝統的な染め技術や手仕事、二次加工、三次加工の手法を現代の視点で再構築し、厳選した素材に落とし込んだ。
