In this reaction, we dive into Part 1 of Band-maid’s documentary focused on Miss Miku, and OH MY GOD, her determination left us in awe!!!!! Her story of working three jobs just to chase her dreams in Tokyo is sooooo inspiring. She’s the mastermind behind the brilliant fusion of maid café uniforms and rock music that gives Band-maid its uniqueness.
We also couldn’t stop laughing at her clever strategy during Saiki’s audition…she didn’t mention the maid uniforms…only calling them “cute outfits” to make sure Saiki wouldn’t feel discouraged. Classic Miku move! Join us as we share our thoughts on the first doc installment focusing on her incredible journey and her unwavering drive to make her vision a reality.
