Yamataka Jindai Zakura is a wild Edohigan cherry tree that is 2,000 years old.
As the oldest and largest giant tree in Japan, it became the first cherry tree to be designated a national natural monument about 100 years ago.
It is one of the three biggest cherry trees along with the Miharutaki cherry tree in Fukushima and the Usuzumi cherry tree in Gifu.

Beautiful sakura. Just wondering, do you have any opinion on Yuru Camp? I think the series is very similar to what you are doing, minus the camping. I think it also made Yamanashi, Mt. Fuji, and Shizuoka even more popular to tourists.
