[ENG/JP] JYP에게 트와이스 지효 인성을 묻다 | 트와이스 지효 | NMIXX 해원 | 엑디즈 주연, 오드 | 트레이닝썰 | 썰플리 | 이석훈

[How is character education conducted at JYP?] How about you Jihyo? How was character education back then? For us it was like [Deviant behavior] If the company hears that ‘He/she went to a bar’ [Stop right away] Then it’s a stop Went to a club, then [Out right away] Out Can adults go?

[Strict rules] No [But he enjoys all the fun] But JYP always tells people to have fun [Double standard] He said like that? [Ssulply] [Ssulply / Behind You / JYP song at JYP office building] [I know it so much] It’s a famous song [I know it so much] Behind You

[One drop of emotion] I really like this song – Really? – Yes [Swiftly] You know this place right? [Behind You] Of course, it’s JYP [Excuse me] – Hello – Oh my god! [Didn’t think of her coming from the back…] Oh my [I almost hurt Jihyo] I almost cursed [Surprised] I was really surprised

I’m sorry [Anyway] Really, nice to meet you [Me too] Nice to meet you [Really human’s eyes?] Your eyes are really big [(Congratulations) Big eyes came to Ssulply)] Really? Thank you [(Congratulations) Big eyes came to Ssulply)] You’re great [Highest job satisfaction] Ssulply improved a lot

[A precious person in this shabby place] What is this [A precious person in this shabby place] Why would Jihyo from TWICE come here But I really wanted to do this in my company too [Interesting / SM office building] I saw the episode of SM

[SM made it] How did you see that episode of SM [Sympathy 100%] It was really fun [She imagined alone] I would be fun if we also do it [Jihyo’s imagination became real] How is it here? How many years have you been in JYP? [Baby] I first came here in 2005

[Doubts his ears] – Yeah – 2005? Yes when I was a trainee [Full brainpower] Then about 18-19 years? Yes right [Are you planning on burying your bones here?] Is this a lifelong contract? [That’s right?] I’m not sure You are at least an executive here [Go away executives] Really

[You have a stake] But TWICE built some floors in this building right? [About 5?] – Some maybe? – Right [Since it’s her 20th year] There ae up to 5 floors underground [Are we shaking JYP off today] Okay, then are we looking around JYP with Jihyo today? Yes

[JYP] It’s a famous place for trainees, isn’t it? Right [Interview about training story at JYP] Why don’t we meet people who are related to trainees or artists [A song to recommend today?] What kind of song recommendation should we get today?

[Attaking SM worker’s playlist] Did we do like playlist of SM workers at SM? [JYP can’t lose] Then JYP workers’ playlist? You might know since you saw it [SM workers listen to songs from other companies] They don’t listen to songs from SM True

[No difference here at JYP] I think it’s going to be the same here but still [We will attack JYP workers’ playlist] What songs will we discover [Time to enter] This place is also [Just follow me] The way to enter is a bit [Worried] Don’t you use a key or something? That’s true

This is actually [Truth] my first time using my fingerprints here [Jihyo, her 20th year at JYP, indeed] [Front door free pass?] [Impossible!] [Tsk] I use my fingerprint for the first time [Worried] What if it doesn’t work? They opened it for us [Opens the manual door] Hello [Just come in] Wow

[It’s free pass actually] He opens it for us [Opens just by passing by] Basically big companies [Nice photo] This is previous JYP [You can feel the traces of time (previous) JYP office building] [New office building] Trainees these days practice here When you see them you are like this

[It’s great to practice in this warm place right] Do you guys understand hardship ‘Back then’ [Am I a condescending person?] is starting to come out We can’t help it [Hard to not become a condescending person] I didn’t want to do that

[Back then] We didn’t have enough practice room so we gathered in the hallways covering us with blankets [Sad] There was no heater in winter and water came out from air conditioner in summer [What do you know] But really, there is a bond that comes from living together

[World became a better place] The atmosphere improved a lot here [You know that] Similar to the military service period is shortened and they are using phones there [Get out if you don’t know this] Anyway, you are here right now because of that memory These elevators are made by Jihyo

[My blood and tears are here] TWICE made them [Starting from underground] This is underground practice room It’s great [JYP] This is like PD’s [JYP’s preference in this hallway] favorite artists Michael Jackson [Photo for whipping] For motivation You can pass us Unnie! Unnie [Unnie?] [Is this an opportunity] Do you guys know each other?

When I was a trainee, she raised us [Unnie] Really? [(Caught)] Can we interview you? [Casting done] What is your job? I’m at rookie development training team [Training teacher] The whole training team [Why am I here…] This is amazing It’s amazing [Then] Can we see practice room? Yes

[Practice room is there] You can go there The TWICE members practice here a lot? [TWICE use this place] Yes we come here often [Looks familiar] Wow amazing [So this is the practice room] [It’s amazing but] Can I turn the light on? Yes [Turning on]

It’s also amazing the way to turn the light on [Starts talking] So this is It turns off automatically? [Is this mood light?] [Why is this like this?] [Lights are shaking] Will manager turn on the light? Why? I’m sorry [Embarrassed] Why is this not working

[New] Let’s do like this, when will this turn on [She’s burning inside] Jihyo, you don’t know this right? No [what’s happening today] It’s not working well [That’s okay] Maybe this is it Let’s do it like this [Tears] This worked but why… [Interview restarts] So this is [Familiar[ where TWICE film their dance practice

[Saw this practice room many times] Correct, we use this place a lot Wow amazing I sing [Seokhoon’s three footsteps] only within 1m in diameter [Because you are a ballad singer] So [Once in his life or not] it’s amazing when I come to this kind of places I want to step in

So you are rookie development team [What is training team?] There is a training team in the rookie development team? [Rookie development team] Yes, there is casting and training team separately [Ordinary person to idol] So you are training people who were casted? Yes Like a teacher [Special care] That’s true, like a teacher

So you are making idols How many years have you been here? This is my 12th year this year [12th year of idol maker] You have been here for a long time [From an early age] Then you must know growth process of Jihyo Right [Jihyo is my senior?] But Jihyo came here before me

True I’m actually the senior [Her student… but her senior] Jihyo is her senior What are some difficulties while working? [Teacher] When they don’t listen to me That’s because they are still young It’s similar to school [Mistakes that students make] Not doing homework, coming late In my case

[Girl group’s difficulty] I couldn’t lose weight so I got scolded a lot [When did I?] Me? [Wait a minute] You have to remember that Usually [Cold reality] Attackers don’t remember [Memories are gone] [Know for character eduaction] There’s character education here [How is character education conducted at JYP?] There’s a separate team for that?

Or rookie development team is in charge? [Truth] We don’t really have a ‘character education’ but we do similar education [Just like in school] Like sex education Like seminar? [Experts] We invite instructors [You too] Then you are in that class too [Of course] Right [Then] How is Jihyo’s character? All good?

[What kind of question is this?] What is this [Jihyo’s character hearing] Tell us about Jihyo’s character [First time getting this kind of question] Jihyo is [First time getting this kind of question] Jihyo is like [Like?] real leader [Touched] She was really like that [Born to be leader] Yes she was so kind

[Born to be leader] She always did what she had to do What are you? [I’ll buy you food] Let’s eat [Compliments make wallets open] That’s true [Experience] How about you Jihyo? How was character education back then? For us it was like [Deviant behavior] If the company hears that ‘He/she went to a bar’

[Stop right away] Then it’s a stop Went to a club, then [Out right away] Out [Needs to get out right away] There were some people like that Can adults go there? [Strict rules] No It was like that back then That’s about 10 years ago

[But he enjoys all the fun] But JYP always tells people to have fun [Double standard] He said like that? [It’s not fair, JYP] Why can’t adults go No comment for that [Protect Jihyo] [Another straightforward question] What happens to those who cannot change even after character education? [Confused] Then good bye to them

[Expulsion ending] No choice Was there a case like that? You took him/her out but he/she debuted? [Those cases] A lot [Wow] A lot [Goes out and debut in another company] There’s a lot [Amazing idol world] It’s an amazing world [Since you are the teacher] Do you keep in contact even after their debut?

I personally do not keep in contact at all – Why? On purpose? – When they debut [My job is done] I think my job is done Why? [There’s a big difference between a trainee and an idol] There’s a big difference in atmosphere For them

[Looking for teacher] they want to rely on the past [Nodding] and want to complain [Need to be strong] but that’s what they have to face by themselves The more affection I have, the more distance I keep [Deep meaning] I knew this for the first time

Then when a trainee you were in charge of debut is there an incentive? [So curious!] You’re so curious, right? There is? [Nope] No, there isn’t. [Unbelievable] There’s no performance-related pay? It’s just it worked well. [Only the honor and congratulation remain] So they only give you an honor. [Bitter] So there’s no performance-related pay.

Should I request it to JYP? Yes, please. I ask for your help. I’ve only met him once. [I’ll tell him if I meet him on my way] [Songs listened by a JYP staff?] Could you show us your music playlist? [Don’t hide it] The song you listened to recently.

[What song is in the JYP staff’s playlist?] [Inspecting] I’ll check it. [Scrolling] This is… [Looking through] Among so many songs, [No JYP’s songs] not even one is listed. [Embarrassed] JYP. The most recent one is Charlie Puth’s I Don’t Think That I Like Her. This is a very popular song. Thank you.

[Thank you for taking time for revelation interview] Thank you. [Thank you for taking time for revelation interview] Thank you. [Let’s find the next story] What is the space over there? There’s also a vocal room and a bigger dance practice room over there.

[Want to look around?] This is a vocal room. Do you want to enter? Can I? [Sneakily] Hello. [Someone is inside] Hello. [Embarrassed] Hello. [Wondered who she is] She’s the teacher. Yes, she’s our vocal teacher. I think I’ve seen you on TV.

[Coworker at Produce 101] – Yes, I was featured on it. – Right? [A fateful encounter of the two teachers] Nice to meet you. Hello. [Nice to meet you for the first time] Nice to meet you. You’re the vocal trainer of this training team, right? Yes, I am.

How long have you been in this field? [So long] I started in 2014. [She has a long experience too] [Has been a vocal teacher for the artists for ten years] – About ten years? – Yes. So you teach Jihyo too? [A nickname from a veteran] For this baby girl. Almost at the end.

[Jihyo’s teacher right after she debuted] I only got lessons from her since I debuted. [Infinite trust] She’s almost like a hospital for me. [The doctor for Jihyo’s vocal cords] I know. Prescription. [Busy schedules] I’m so thankful to her because when we were super busy,

[Split up and split up] we would go to an empty room during makeup time [Urgent SOS] and send her voice messages at 2 or 3 a.m. [A long and quick reply even at dawn] And she would send us a long voice message. [Correct example] Giving us a demonstration of the vocals.

[This is a good example of a teacher] She replied even at dawn. [Proud] I lived passionately. [Only I do not have such a teacher] You’re such a great teacher. Well… [Hesitate] It’s very interesting. [What are you going to ask?] You teach them half air and half voice. [Still curious and can’t hold it]

[I’ll explain] Honestly, it’s not like that. [It must be like that, right?] Right? I feel so relieved. Actually, half air and half voice means, [It gets famous because of someone] you know, there’s a ‘refreshing’ singing method when you mix a lot of air in your vocals.

If you need such singing method, you can do it. [Finally the secret of half air and half voice is revealed] But I didn’t say that you have to express it with half air and half voice. [Curiosity solved] Aren’t many people very curious about it?

[Heard it a lot] When I tell them that I work at ‘JYP’, [The first thing that people are curious about JYP] nine out of ten people talk about that story. People are talking about this story for years. It’s time to stop now. [Let’s release it now] It should be done by now.

[By the way] You know. Jihyo must know about this. There are different vocal styles from SM, JYP, YG, and HYBE. [Is there a specific style from each company?] Is it passed on to the next generation? [Trainee Evaluation] Actually, there is monthly evaluation. For trainees. When watching the monthly evaluation,

[There are trainees that she likes] if they did great on that day, [Emphasize one’s belief] I actually think that they reflect the style. Do you mean JYP’s style? Right. What kind of style is it? I think they have that style. Actually, I think they have that half air and half voice style.

[I apologize because I said it isn’t like that] So you can’t ignore it. [Fixed] Yeah, I can’t ignore it. Yeah, you can’t ignore it. So there’s definitely something like that. Right. [Respect the preference] I think I have such preference. [For example] For SM, if we do “CHEER UP” like this,

[Nasal voice] they would do it with nasal voice like this. [(SM vocal trait) Clear high note using nasal voice] – Clear? – Clear voice. Very clear. As for HYBE, [Soft feelings] I think they really like youthful sounds like this.

[(HYBE vocal trait) thin voice with girly vibes] I think they really like thin voices and girly sounds. In my opinion. I thought that JYP was the most natural one. How do JYP do it? Sing it for us. [The original appears] [Very natural] I can feel the differences. How about YG?

[Facing a difficulty] As for YG, how should I express it? [Difficulty level increased] [Just need to be drown in hip-hop] It has to be drown in hip-hop. [If there is hip-hop, you can go anywhere] [Should be tied for years] It needs to be soaked.

[So sad I can’t express it] I only like hip-hop. [Envy] Her class must be fun. Yeah, it’s fun. [Ideal type] She expresses it so well. [Only need that. Swag] It needs to be soaked? So funny. Have you ever scolded someone so harsh when training? [Deep anger] I’ve ever cursed once.

[This is nothing] I’ve ever told someone, “Should I call your mom?” [Gosh, guys] [Kids who don’t practice won’t practice even if they would die] Kids who don’t do their homework come without doing it. They don’t do it no matter how I try to do. Why are they like that? So

[No need to scold them] I don’t scold them harshly. [Let’s see] The time when I was ‘the most scary’ that I heard was when… [(Protect the artist)] When I taught them. [Already is a respectable singer] When we meet as artists, I purposely use a formal speech.

[Use formal speech to respect] I called their name respectfully. I told them, “I’ll talk casually for a moment.” [Started to teach them casually again] [Desperate] Please teach me to sing. [Teacher, please scold me too] [Even if it’s just a one-day class] Please teach me once. Please teach me with casual speech.

[Using informal speech] So nice. [Respect] You really have an influence in teaching vocal in this field since you were young. [Vibes from experience] You have it in your control. Then who do you think has a perfect vocal among other artists? The vocal of that person. IU is great.

[Suddenly confessing her love] IU is really great. [Let me explain in more details] People who sing melodious songs. To be honest, judging if they ride the rhythm well or not is not easy. [As expected, Best Korean Hip-hop Artist] IU is a person who rides the rhythm very well.

So if the kids copy and bring her songs, it’s a mess. [That’s right] Right. The genre changes. [(This kind of feelings) The one that the teacher wants, the one I made / The difficulty level to cover the songs increases] Right. Agree. So

[Nanoscale Analysis] I draw the rhythm and analyze it, and when that kid listens to it again, [In shock] They will stop singing for a while. [Trainees: Let’s not playing with IU’s songs] Right. I made a mistake. [IU, I’m sorry] He will go home and do self-reflection,

[Getting out after spending time in the room of pain] and then his respect will increase. Right. [What are the songs listened by a JYP staff?] – What was the song you listened to recently from your playlist? – Can we check it? [Her preference lately] Since retro is back in trend, Michelle Branch’s Everywhere.

The song produced by Madonna. Really? Hello. [Whoa, who is it?] Hello. It’s Haewon. Come in. [A Runaway Who Was Born in 2005 / Haewon (NMIXX) featured on Ssulply ep.1] You’re wearing the same clothes as you wore last time. [Coolly starts with a huge damage / Not the same clothes]

[You have quick eyes] I went to Lotte World with her. Strangely, [A relationship made in Ssulply] I’ve met her once, but I’m pleased to meet her. [I feel the same] I’m pleased to meet you too, so I entered out of a sudden. Were you in the mid of practicing? No.

[She came for a schedule and accidentally met them] I have a schedule here today. So you have a schedule here. [Let me wrap this up] Please stay for a moment. [Let me wrap this up] I was talking with her. Wait here for a moment. Just stay here.

[Reaction bot behavior] Then we’ll go with this song. I listen to TLC more often, though. [So you like TLC] Will you go with this or TLC? TLC. What song from TLC? No Scrubs is good. – Shall we go with No Scrubs? – Sure. Okay. We’ll add that song to the playlist.

Thank you for taking time for the interview. Thank you. [See you next time] Thank you. [I thought there was something] I was surprised. Because someone greeted us during filming. I thought it was someone who’s very polite. [But it was a friend] It was Haewon. How have you been?

[Thanks to you] I’ve been doing well. I’m working hard. [It’s a pity to just leave] Since she’s here, can we talk with her for a moment? Sure, you can. [An MC became an interviewee in a month] – Great. – You know. When did you start as a trainee?

[Since middle school] I started when I was 15. [Since middle school] From 2017? [Than I thought] You trained for so long. [The one who has been in the industry for 20 years said that] I debuted after five years of training.

Did you start the basic lesson and dance lesson the same since you first came here? Yes. [The basic of basic] I learned the basic choreography. How many years did you learn the basic choreography? [Hazy] I think it’s a little more than a year. [Mastered the basic choreography in a year]

Did she master it fast? Yes, she did. I did it for more than five years. [It’s okay. It could happen] You’re an idol full of efforts. But the curriculum was a bit different from back then. [Bright] Really? [Please don’t misunderstand] Class A, B, and C were different.

[What is that?] Could you teach us the basic choreography? [I, Oh Haewon, can’t leave it out] It includes wave, bounce, and steps. The wave is [A proud senior] the one you know. [JYP’s style] Director Park Jin Young does that. [You know, this vibe] This kind of vibe. [Oh my God]

Like this. You know, right? [Basic Choreography ver.A] That is a basic choreography? Basic? This is version A. This is the basic? [The next one is bounce] Version B is bounce. [A familiar step like I’ve seen before] Version C is step. Do you have to practice these all? Yes, we do.

[JYP’s Belief] If you can’t master this basic moves, you can’t learn the intermediate choreography. Like this. And the choreography slowly gets developed. It’s different from the one from my era. [Curious] How did you do it back then? [Demonstrates in person] Back then, we just did the old moves.

[The old version of the basic choreography] It was like this. [A lot more refined than the recent one] It was a bit more clear and simple, but it has a different vibe now. [2017 ver., 2005 ver. Same choreography, different vibes] The vibes are a bit different. Wow, very interesting.

[The world of a very interesting basic choreography] [Laughing at herself who danced] [Let’s listen more] How did you join the audition back then? [The reason for joining the company] I participated in a girl group audition. [The reason for joining the company] An open audition. [She passed that difficult open audition]

I did it in 2017. [During open audition] What song did you sing? [Beyonce’s] I sang ‘Halo’. [She passed it with that difficult song] [Suddenly starts singing] [What’s going on here] You’re going to sing right away? [I’ll do it before you ask me to] [Proud of her] [Her beautiful voice echoes in the hallway]

[What a great performance] [You have to sing this well to become a singer] So cool. [Feeling shy] It’s my first time singing today. You’re a great singer. You’re so cool. [Thank you for the high-quality performance] – Thank you. – How does she sing so well?

[Time to fill the playlist] Recommend us some songs. – Me? – Yeah. What songs should I recommend? [Songs that JYP people listen to] The songs people at JYP listen to. [Of course, it’s “I Got You.”] I like listening to “I Got You” by Twice. [Satisfied with her answer] Thank you.

[Here, I’ll dance to it, too] [Calm down] I know that song. But is that the song part of the playlist on your phone? [Searching] But I really like – listening to Twice’s songs. – Don’t change the songs on your list. [Stuttering] I especially like this song. [We’re watching you] Don’t change the list!

[Her fingers are moving hurriedly] Are you typing something? [Don’t worry] I’m trying to show you the song. [I trust you, Haewon] [Delaying intentionally] I recommend… [What’s wrong with her back?] – Why are you leaning forward? – Yeah, what’s up with the posture? [Keeping the screen away from them]

[My favorite song is…] It’s “First Time” [Songs people at JYP listen to] sung by Twice. [How do you know that song?] I wrote that piece, you know. [Of course I know that] [People at JYP know each other so well] How does she know that? You two seem so close. Your breath…

[Starts singing the song] [She’s so funny] [Starts singing with a gesture] You’re so good. [Haewon’s being Haewon] – You’re so good. – Really good. [She’s such a nice kid] You must be proud of her. [Yes] Whenever I see her on TV,

– I always think to myself that she’s such a great entertainer. – Oh, really? [Thank you] I want to be like her. [She’s going to be even more successful] In my opinion, she’s going to be more popular than she is. She deserves more fame. [Thank you]

[Since she’s probably busy, we’ll let you go] I know you’re busy, so… [Bows] – Good luck! – Thank you, bye. [Thank you for your time] Thank you, thank you! [Still impressed] She’s amazing. I’m sure while we’re here [Running into K-pop idols in the hallway] we’ll run into K-pop idols who debuted.

[Suddenly curious] Didn’t we do that at SM? – Did we only run into Key? – Yeah. [Episode SM Behind] Later, I learned that there was [Taemin was watching] Taemin behind us. Really? Yeah, Taemin was there. [He thought about coming forward 500 times] He thought about coming forward, but he didn’t.

[Even that] I mean, I wouldn’t expect anything else from him. [Maybe I should have] [By the way] Haewon did exactly what I expected her to do, too. [My turn] Yeah, she came forward right away. [Taemin didn’t want to be a nuisance] He didn’t, because he didn’t want to interrupt. [Two very different people]

[Looking for the next story] What is this place? It’s called Artist Lounge. [A break room for artists] We can rest here, and eat stuff. [Let’s see] So inside this room… [Someone’s here] [Their eyes met] [Rushes in] Let’s go in. Hi. [Another random encounter] – Hi. – Nice to meet you.

[As if this was planned] Hi. – Hi. – Hi. [Time for introduction] Of course I know who they are. But we should let them introduce themselves in front of the camera. [A little nervous] Two, three. We are all heroes! Hi, this is Xdinary Heroes. [(Congratulations on your first appearance on the show)]

[Positions] What’s your part in the band? I, uh… [Attractive accent] I love your accent. [Jooyeon / 21 years old] I’m a main vocalist and I also play the bass. [Got it] You sing and play the base. [O.de / 21 years old] I sing, rap, and play the synthesizer. I have a question.

There’s a team dedicated to bands in JYP. [How do bands form in JYP?] Did you audition for a position in a band? Or were you trying to be a K-pop idol at first? I’m so curious. [Making him even more curious] There’s a long story. [You’re making me curious too]

[Big story, huh?] Are you sure? Yeah, it’s a long story. [Revealing everything about JYP bands] I’ll tell you who the initial members were, and how we got to where we are now. [So curious] Please do tell. [He knows how to make people listen]

[How to become a member of Xdinary Heroes #1] I joined JYP because I wanted to join a band. [Nice timing] Back then, there was a team of people dedicated to debuting a band. [He did audition for a position] – That’s how I joined the band. – Alright.

[How to become a member of the band #2] But some people were brought to the band because the team thought they would fit into the band nicely. [Kidnapped] So that’s another route. [From other groups?] What do you mean? So… [Initially an idol] So they were idol trainees at first.

[But a band member in the end] They were dancing and stuff, but they were good at playing instruments too, so… [Interrupts] I was one of them. [The gap between reality and dream] I wanted to be a K-pop idol. [He was offered to join the band] But I was offered to join this band.

[Positive mindset] It was another way to become a musician. So I figured it was a good opportunity. [There were many different ways to join the band] So you were preparing to become an idol, but joined the band.

[Is there a difference between managing an idol group and a band?] Are they treated differently at the company? [First of all] The system is different. [More focused on writing songs and performing instruments] We don’t focus much on dancing. We focus more on music itself. [Makes sense] I see.

[Instead of learning how to dance] We devote most of our time to learning music. [So you don’t learn dancing at all?] So no dancing at all? [Hesitant] Um. There’s a sad story. [He’s got so many stories] It’s really sad. [Two years of preparation] I spent two years getting ready to join a band.

Back then, [He couldn’t excuse himself from dance lessons] they told me I should learn how to dance. [Forced to learn how to dance] I was forced to learn dancing. [Somehow, we know how this story is going to end] But it didn’t work out? We told them first.

[No matter how hard we tried] There was no point in learning how to dance? [He knew himself too well] “I don’t think we’ll ever be a good dancer.” [Couldn’t even look himself in the mirror] “I can’t even watch myself dancing!” [He was never good at dancing] “We’re horrible dancers!”

So how did you decide what instrument you should play? In some cases, the instrument is already decided at the auditioning stage. Then, the instrument doesn’t change. [Personal instrument analysis] In other cases, the company tells us “You should play this instrument.”

[Recommending an instrument that goes well with a person] – Based on the impression? – Yeah. [For instance] Bass, for instance [Quiet and serious] is usually played by people who are quiet. Hold on. Your accent

[Your accent doesn’t sound serious at all] is not something I expected to hear from a guy looking like you. It’s hard to get used to it. [Wrong analysis?] Yeah, you don’t sound like a bass player. You sound like a gong player. [Gong suits him better] Gong!

[Or a small drum] Or a small drum! [I know] No wonder they told me I should keep my mouth shut. [They’re so funny] I know that people who play instruments also learn certain gestures to make the performance on stage more entertaining. Do you practice such gestures?

[I have something to say about that] I have some crazy gestures. [Not kidding] Let me tell you this. He’s so cool even when all he’s doing is striking Do on his synth. [The best performer] Even when I’m just pressing one key, I try to do it with all my body.

Say I’m playing a ballad song. I would move my body like this. [And when it’s a rock song] And when it’s a rock song, I would move like this. [Also pressing] [The side effect: neck pain] So I always have neck pain a day after performing on stage. [So true] I can see that.

[Special way to practice] What about the bass? [Of course I have one] It’s really hard to find someone who can play the bass, drum, and sing. [He doesn’t look embarrassed] I feel a little bit embarrassed to say this myself but that’s just true. [This guy] [Stuttering] And you’re saying you’re one of them?

Yes. [I’m one in a million] [He’s so funny] [Talking about how to look cool when playing the bass] If you lean back like this you will look sexy. [This guy] [Shameless] Why is she laughing? [Important thing to note] I think when he did [In love with himself] the sexy gesture

He fell in love with himself. [Drunk on his own sexiness] He just imagined himself playing the bass. [Looking hot even in his own imagination] He imagined it. Playing the bass with his long hair. [But that’s how you become a bassist] Exactly. You have to be in love with yourself.

[Sudden] Can you show me that? [Do you mean it?] Right now? [We always mean it] I know you can. [Getting up] I know you’re prepared. [People at JYP never say no] I thought you’d never ask. [Let me show you] Say I’m holding the bass. [The light] Watch out! [This guy] Come closer.

[Chaotic] Say I’m holding the bass. [Passionate] You first do this. And then you swap the feet. [Headbanging] [Amazed] [Crazy performance] [By the way] You’re so slender. You’re so slender. [Shaky legs] [With those legs] Can your legs even support your body and the bass?

[You may not know this but…] You need these legs to play in a band. [Laughing] [Something you must have to become a bassist] You have to have very thin legs. These are the proof that I’m a good bassist. [Learning so much from him] I didn’t know that.

[He deserves an applause] He’s so funny. So what did you sing at the audition? [Five years ago] I don’t remember what I did at the audition. But, uh [One thing that he clearly remembers] I do remember a song that I used to sing a lot. What is it?

“Ten Reasons Why I Love You.” No. [Keep going] Please don’t sing my song. – You don’t want me to? – Please no. [I’ll do it anyway] First, your feelings. [Anticipating] [Forgot the lyrics] [You said this was your favorite song] [Being nice] Or you could sing one of your songs here.

[Yeah, we can’t end it here] Yeah, sing one of your band’s songs. Xdinary Heroes? [Will he] [perform well this time] [Shocked] [Strong and powerful voice coming from a guy with thin legs] Your words slowly rot inside of me badly [He deserves an applause] [He deserves an applause] [Moved] Well done.

[Look at him] You keep using the dialect like that. [An unexpected charm that makes you lose your senses] That’s why, in dialect, it’s looked like an aspen and I saw this. A complete reversal. [That is the virtue of the band] – That’s a rocker. – It’s so cool.

[There are so many virtues of a band] Is this a rocker? [Lately hitting reality] It’s so funny. Okay, thank you so much for the interview. Thank you. Can you show us the playlist? The song you listened to most recently. [Songs listened to by JYP employees] DAY6 – I Like You.

[Relief] Still, the JYP song came out. [The first JYP song that doesn’t make up] It’s finally out. It’s finally out. [Thanks to you, it was fun] Thank you for the interview. – Thank you. – Thank you. [Continued] This is our office, but we’re at Division 3.

[Celebrities belonging to Division 3] At Division 3, there is PD Park Jinyoung, Twice and American group called VCHA. [Stars of Division 3] Only the big ones at Division 3. Shall we take a look? [Knock knock] Here’s another one. [Jihyo doesn’t need to knock] This shouldn’t happen just once.

[Entrance to Division 3] It goes so well. [Office scene at work] It’s so big. – It’s so big. – He should be there. [Searching for interview subjects] Shall we talk about people we know? [Disappointed] Why are they all pretending not to know? [Then I’ll pretend I know] Unnie Can you do interview?

[Showing off] This is our new music video. [Sensitive as it hasn’t been released yet] Then we shouldn’t look at it now. Yes. [Please show a lot of interest in “With YOU-th” now released] – Right, it’s not yet. – I’m sorry. [High-level spoiler blocking method] There is a function to lower this.

There is this function. What is your job? I am in charge of the production part. [Please explain] Production part? What does it do? We usually work on things like music videos and trailers. [What is the production part?] So when this new song comes out,

– you create a concept that goes with it and things like that. – That’s right. [Thank you for your hard work] You’re going through a lot. [What is the best benefit as an employee?] So I’m really curious about this. What is the best benefit of this company?

[The benefits of welfare are endless] First of all, I think the biggest thing is that things like meals and coffee are supported. [No way] Is the coffee below free? [You can use the company cafe as a welfare point] Yes, our points are presented separately. So we can just eat from that point.

[Is it possible to change jobs?] I really like this company. [Most important] How do I get points? [You can drink coffee for a month] Now I get about 70,000 points a month. Is that 70,000 won?

[70,000 won that can be used like cash] That’s right, it’s the same amount as the 70,000 won that can be spent here. Can you only use coffee as your welfare points? Or even food? [Wave welfare only] Food is free if we make a reservation. [Scary company] From the coffee menu

To the bakery menu. [I’m jealous] Food is free. – You can use 70,000 points per month. – Yes that’s right. [By any chance] Does the artist have a point too? [Same points provided to all employees, artists, and trainees] Yes, we also get points. [Darkness] Is it just employees? [Because it’s company welfare] Yes.

[Unfortunate] All right. [Time to say goodbye] Thank you so much for the interview. – Thank you. – Thank you. [I hope you enjoy many great benefits] Thank you for your hard work. [The famous original restaurant JYP] JYP was originally famous for being an entertainment restaurant.

[The company singer never heard of JYP origin story] Is it so? Originally, another company was probably better. [Next door to a good restaurant] – Is it YG? – Yes. [If it’s delicious, go for it] Both are original. [Something like that] [Organic restaurant] The best thing about our restaurant is

– that everything is organic. – That’s why. [Real organic?] I also watched the broadcast. It’s really organic. [100% clean restaurant] Yes, it comes out really organic. [Restaurant review rating 5.0] – It’s really delicious. – Why is it so delicious? [Homemade food teacher] It’s really homemade food.

[The sound of the heart that keeps coming out] [Please guide me to the world of homemade food] Please guide me. [Arrive at the 9th floor restaurant] It’s here. [Company restaurant famous for organic food] – This is what was on the broadcast. – Yes, this is the place.

[The 9th floor smells different] The restaurant definitely smells different. [If you eat without a reservation] How much does it cost per meal? [Maybe] I think it was 6,000 won. [Free for employees, artists, and trainees when making a reservation] You can eat by showing your employee ID or fingerprint. It’s really good.

[Entering the restaurant] Hello. Hello. [Can you?] Is it possible [Readily accepts it] to have an interview? Is it okay? What is your job? [About me] I work as a nutritionist at JYP Entertainment. [Nice to meet you] How many years have you been a nutritionist?

[Quite stagnant water] I am now in my 7th year. 7th year? [Open member of JYP’s company restaurant] Probably since it first created. [Amazing] Since the first time it was created? Yes. [Curious] Why do you keep staying here like that? [Love without reason] Because I like it.

[It’s good just to think about it] – You like it so much? – Yes. [Specifically] Which do you like? [Proud of the company that started without hesitation] The best thing is that since our company is directly managed, [100% satisfaction] we have the advantage of being able to freely use quality ingredients.

I think that’s the best part. [Even though] Even if you spend as much as you want, don’t you have a budget? But in most cases, [Never run out of budget] we were created for welfare purposes, [JYP gives generously] So it’s doesn’t spare anything, [Infinite acceptance] and that’s where loyalty comes from.

“Work as a nutritionist at JYP,” what is the thing you hear most often? When I first joined the company, [We can’t stand for Twice] the most common question I heard was “Do you see TWICE often?” [Of course, JYP’s representative idol Twice] Is it so? [Then] Now? Now is Stray Kids.

[For Stray Kids, I agree] [Frequently asked questions] Anything else? [Example 1] Is it really organic there? [Example 2] Do you take any leftover ingredients? Something like this. [The company’s singer is curious too] – I’m curious. – Are you curious? [Innocent] I never take it and use it all up that day.

[As expected JYP] If there are any leftovers, dispose of them? [A company that is serious about organic products] Whenever possible, we use organic ingredients, but when we don’t have any, we use eco friendly or pesticide free ingredients. [I have no choice but to admit it] It’s so amazing.

[Prepare] I’m really curious about that. [Main subject] Who eats the most. [Among the artists, who are regular customers?] Among the artists? [JYP DAY6] I think Xdinary Heroes or Stray Kids eat well. [Especially Bang Chan] Bang Chan also comes often. [(Food) Seungmin] Seungmin comes often too.

[How can they eat so well with legs like aspen trees?] How can they eat like that when they’re so skinny? [Which menu received the best response?] There was a lot of roar because it was delicious. What kind of food was there? I think it’s a bit much.

[Tell me quickly, because I’m curious] Talk about it. I think it’s mainly a homemade menu. [The cooking process is also organic] Even in the case of seaweed rolls, we make the contents ourselves. [Frozen food not acceptable] Not accepting deliver ingredients? – But it comes up often, seaweed rolls. – That’s right.

[Strange] Seaweed rolls are delivered ingredients? [Taste of handmade] We also serve all our pork cutlets ourselves. [Sigh of envy] Really? [It’s our company, but it’s amazing] It’s crazy, really. [Recognized as an organic restaurant] It’s truly amazing. I think you’re working really hard. Jihyo, what kind of food do you prefer?

[What is the menu scale] There was a time when Baeksuk appeared. [The appearance of Baeksuk in an organic restaurant] I don’t like Baeksuk very much. so it’s surprising that Baeksuk appears in the company restaurant. [Guaranteed taste] It’s so delicious. [There is nothing to be surprised about anymore] JYP really.

[Really great JYP] This really is a great place. Okay, shall we get a song recommendation? [What is JYP employee’s most recent playlist?] Can I see the playlist you most recently listened to? [Songs listened to by JYP employees] Conan Gray? Fight or Flight.

[The interview was as full as the meal] Okay, thank you so much for the interview. – Thank you. – Thank you. Thank you. [End of JYP tour] Today, I toured the JYP building with Jihyo. SM vs JYP? [The biggest challenge for Ssulply] [JYP… I only have you] JYP!

[to. SM staff / (I had no choice)] [It’s a joke] [Important information] Jihyo, don’t you have something to introduce? [Almost got into big trouble] What’s going on? If you leave without talking about this, you came out for no reason. [Let’s introduce the album] – Is your album coming out? – That’s right.

The 13th mini album is coming out in one year. [Please show a lot of interest in the 13th mini album “With YOU-th” / “ONE SPARK”] I hope you love it a lot. Today, I did Ssulply with TWICE’s Jihyo. If you have any questions about JYP Entertainment,

[Please leave a comment about any questions you have about JYP & the song] please leave a comment. You can listen to today’s recommended music on Spotify. – Bye! – Bye! [Songs listened to by JYP employees] [Training teacher like homeroom teacher / Song listened to by JYP employees]

Because this is such a famous song, I think he is listening to a bright song. [Jihyo’s vocal teacher] He always likes old songs, so I think I know why he listens to it. [JYP basic choreography talent Haewon] This is a song I wrote the lyrics to,

And it’s a song I hope many people will listen to. [DAY6 – I Like You / Tasteful Younghoon of Xdinary Heroes] When it comes to DAY6 songs, I always seem to fall in love with this song and then fall in love with it depending on the season.

[Nutritionist who insists only on organic products] This is my first time hearing it. I think it’s really good. [Previous video / Recommended video / Subscribe / Like / Notification settings]
