Very different & very AWESOME!!! [NEMOPHILA – ODYSSEY] FIRST TIME Reaction!

Nemophila is up first with their new album EVOLVE!
I reacted to the first 2 songs (and Night Flight) already when they were released, but all of the other songs will be new for me!

It's a beautiful rock ballad. Why shouldn't they show a different side from time to time? I really hope I can see them live in the near future …

You aren’t classic metal if you can’t do ballads and Nemophila do it so very well.
This is the track I just turned off the first time I heard it (when the chorus hit). I don't enjoy ballads that much in general, but especially this type of more whiny/epic ballad is really not for me. Mayu is also extremely auto-tuned/pitch-corrected, especially in the beginning part. Is it badly made? No, they do a good job of it, I just can't stand this type of music but I can see how people who don't have a problem with that would enjoy this song. Do I get annoyed that they produced this? Not really, I also believe it's for an anime or movie, so they were constraint with what the writer gave them and what was expected of them.
I do wish they released this as a single or EP though instead of on the album because this track will make me listen to the album less since I typically listen to full albums without touching my device while walking from home to work and vice versa and I really don't want to bother fidling to skip tracks. I typically just don't listen to the album if some tracks bother me too much, like with Asterisms Decide, the Hagane album and I actually haven't listened that much to the previous Nemophila album either because of some of the tracks, even though there are some bangers on there that I absolutely love.
All in all I would put this together with Band-Maid's Daydreaming as one of those tracks that a lot of fans love, but is among bottom of the barrel for me in their discography. I can hear it's well made, but I just can not enjoy the track.
