ＮＨＫは１４日、タレントのタモリ（７８）がＭＣを務める人気番組「ブラタモリ」（土曜後７時半）を来年からレギュラー放送しないと発表、山名博夫メディア部長がコメントした。 「今のスタイルは今年で終わり」とレギュラー放送が今年で終了することを明かし、「視聴者の皆様にさらに楽しんでいただける番組作りを目指していきたい」と語った。 特別番組の放送。 第1弾は2009年10月にスタートし、街歩きの達人・タモリが街を歩き回り、知られざる街の歴史や魅力、人々の暮らしに迫る。 2008年12月のパイロット版を含め、2012年の第3シリーズまでは久保田祐佳アナウンサーが第1アシスタントを務め、2015年1月のパイロット版では首藤那智子アナウンサーが第2アシスタントを務めた。
