江東区の外周を徒歩で一周してみた。【Episode2(後編)】#区境網羅の陣/Walk around Outline of Koto Ward in Tokyo

I’m Mako, as know as Yanikasu-otakuno-mako san. はい皆さんお元気でお過ごしでしょうか I hope everyone is doing well. いきなり黒画面で何をおっしゃりたいのかと思ったそこの皆さん、実はですね、企画倒れの可能性が出てきております！ The truth is, there is a possibility that the project (Walk Around All Outline of 23 Wards) will fail. 投稿欄でも以前言ったような気がしますが I’ve said this before in the post section,
この企画は視聴率があまりよくありませんので今回の視聴率を吟味して The viewer ratings for this project are not very good, so I’ll take a closer look at the viewer ratings this time. もしもこのまま伸びる可能性がないと思った場合はですね If I think there is no chance of it growing the number of listeners, 非公開とさせていただこうと思っておりました I wanted to keep those videos private.
その場合はメンバーシップの方だけご覧いただけるようにしようと思います But, in that case, I would like to make it only visible to members in my membership. そしてこれは企画として終わるかもしれません And this may end up as a project. 企画として終わった場合 If this project series end 個人の趣味として続けるかもしれませんので I may continue this as a personal hobby. そしたらまあメン限とかでやっていこうと思います After that, I think I’ll make it only for membership. メン限になっちゃう前提みたいな感じで話しちゃってますけど
なるべくですね But,as much as possible, このまま皆さんに公開できるように So that I can share it with you all as is… 皆さんに見ていただけるように For everyone to see… 努力したいと思います I would like to make an effort! しかしね However, もうちょっとね面白くしてからそれを言えよという話ですけど I have to make my videos little more interesting than before.
今回もそんなに前と動画の体裁は変わりません But this time too, the format of the video is the same as before. 変わりません変わりませんけどね とりあえず普通に視聴率を見てからですね For now, I’ll just look at the viewership ratings. もし視聴率マジでクソみたいな感じでしたら次回からメン限にします If the viewer ratings are really crap, I’ll make it only for membership next time. その際はまたお知らせいたします I will notify you again in that case.
はいそれではこれから本編始まります。よろしくお願いいたします Yes, the main story begins now. Thank you! 都営新宿線・都営大江戸線の森下駅の近くですね It’s near Morishita Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line and Toei Oedo Line. まあ江東区のルールは歩きタバコとポイ捨ては禁止ぐらいの感じみたいですね Well, the rules in Koto Ward seem to be that smoking while walking and littering is prohibited.
止まってどこかで周囲に配慮の上で携帯灰皿を使用してタバコを吸うのであればOKなのかもしれません It may be OK if you stop and smoke somewhere using a portable ashtray while being considerate of your surroundings. 詳しいところは調べてないのでちょっと調べてからにしますね I haven’t looked into the details, so I’ll do some research later. はい始まりました！「区境網羅の陣」江東区後編になります Yes, it has started! 前半では江東区の地形に重点を置いて紹介いたしました In the first half, we focused on the topography of Koto Ward.
後半では江東区ウォークの全てを紹介しようと思います In the second half, I will introduce everything about Koto Ward Walk. そしてですね And so 江東区は埋め立て地が多いイメージがございますね There is an image that Koto Ward has a lot of reclaimed land. 豊洲など埋立地で有名、そのような新しい土地もございますが Toyosu is famous for its reclaimed land, and there are new areas like that as well.
深川などまだまだ歴史のある古い町並みも残っております There are still some old towns with a lot of history left, such as Fukagawa. はいこのような…なんて言うんですかね和洋折衷じゃなくて何て言う Yes, something like this… What do I call it? It’s not a fusion of Japanese and Western style… こういうの？もうちょっとねあの…語彙力ないんですよね Is it like this? Just a little bit more…I don’t have much vocabulary.
私ね語彙力なくて出てこないんですけど I don’t have enough vocabulary so I can’t come up with anything. 新しいものと古いものを new and old… 新しいものと古いものが混ざり合った江東区 Koto Ward is a mix of new and old どのような街並みなのでしょうか。これから軽くですね What kind of cityscape is it? From now on, あまり難しいことは言わず簡単に紹介していこうと思います I’ll try to give you a simple introduction without getting too complicated. はいそれでは始まります Yes, let’s start!
#区境網羅の陣 です！ #This is “Covering 23 ward boundaries”! どこまでを島と捉えるかが超難しいですね It’s extremely difficult to decide how much of the island is considered an island. 水路を引いたがために島になっちゃった部分っていうのもありますよね There are parts of the island that have become islands because waterways were drawn in.
そういうところと新たに埋め立てて島になった部分どちらを島とみるか Which do you consider to be an island, that kind of place or the part that has been newly reclaimed and turned into an island? 両方島とみるか、片方だけ島とみるか Do you see both as islands, or only one as an island?
っていうのも考え中なんですけど全部島と見た方がいいかなと思います I’m thinking about that, but I think it’s better to think of all of them as islands. それらを島と見て島じゃないとこだけ歩こうと思います I think of them as islands and only walk where they are not islands. 江東区芭蕉記念館、松尾芭蕉の記念館ですかね Koto Ward Basho Memorial Hall…Is it the Matsuo Basho Memorial Hall? 江東区のあたりを芭蕉が巡ったことがあるんでしょうかね I wonder if Basho ever visited Koto Ward?
もしまた機会があれば行ってみようと思います I would like to go there again if I have a chance すでになんだか肩痛いし…脚痛く、いや脚じゃないな My shoulders are already hurting somehow… my legs are hurting, no, it’s not my legs. 脚じゃなくて肩と…肩痛いのと暑いなと思ってきました It’s not my legs, but my shoulders…I’ve been thinking that my shoulders hurt and it’s hot. 銀杏が綺麗ですね Ginkgo is beautiful.
一応結構まだ緑のもあって There’s still quite a bit of green. もう全部茶色になったのかなと思ったらそうでもないみたいですね I thought it was all brown by now, but it looks like it’s not. 今年の秋冬は季節感がいつもと違う気がしますね This fall/winter feels like the seasons are different than usual. 深川芭蕉そば、やっぱりこの辺芭蕉にゆかりがあるんでしょうね Fukagawa Basho soba is probably related to Basho after all. 深川は芭蕉が通ったってこと知ってますけども I know that Basho passed through Fukagawa.
深川も一応江東区ですよね Fukagawa is also part of Koto Ward. この辺り深川なのかな？住所見てないのでわかんないですけど Is this around Fukagawa? I haven’t seen the address so I don’t know. 多分この… ゆかりの地のご案内。萬年橋・芭蕉稲荷神社・芭蕉記念なんとか庭園 Maybe this… Information about places of connection. Mannenbashi Bridge, Basho Inari Shrine, Basho Memorial Garden とか。なんかゆかりがあるんですね And. There’s a connection somehow. Smoking time🚬
江東区のタバコのルールについて調べてみました I looked into the tobacco rules in Koto Ward. 歩行しながらの喫煙とポイ捨ては区内全域で禁止されているんですけど Smoking while walking and littering are prohibited throughout the ward. 止まっての喫煙は禁止されてないようです It seems that smoking while stopped is not prohibited. で駅の前とか重点地域は、もう路上喫煙自体がもう禁止されているので Smoking on the street is already prohibited in key areas such as in front of stations.
もう喫煙所で吸ってくださいということで。 It says,”Please go to the smoking area now and smoke.” あとはですね 公園ありますよね In the park, 公園が禁煙だなって言いましたけど I told you that smoking is not allowed in the park. 公園も最近禁煙になったみたいですね It looks like the park has recently become a non-smoking area. 2022年の1月から公演の中禁煙みたいです It looks like smoking will be prohibited in the park from January 2022.
ここはでかい公園ですね This is a huge park. すごい都内とも思えない風情がありますけど It has a great atmosphere that makes it hard to believe that I am in Tokyo. 清澄公園、清澄庭園だそうですね Kiyosumi Park…Kiyosumi Garden. すごいな…水路が直角に曲がってる Amazing…the waterway curves at right angles. 清澄橋、松永橋？ Kiyosumi Bridge, Matsunaga Bridge? なるほど、すごいね I see, that’s amazing 江東区佐賀2丁目 Saga 2-chome, Koto Ward これも調べたんですけど、佐賀県ってありますよね I looked into this too.
佐賀県にこの辺りは形が似ていたらしいので佐賀という地名になったそうです Apparently this area was similar in shape to Saga Prefecture, so it was named Saga. めっちゃまんまですね It’s very accurate この辺りは一応東京の佐賀！ということでよろしくお願いします This area is Saga, Tokyo! Thank you for your understanding lol ここは公園なんですけどこんなものがあります This is a park, there are things like this. 江東区登録史跡「干鰯場(元場)跡」。ここは… Koto Ward registered historic site “Hoshiba (Motoba) Ruins”. here…
干潟があったんでしょうね。昔は埋め立てられてなかったので There must have been a tidal flat. Because it wasn’t reclaimed in the past. それでここでなんか取引が行われた？ So was there some kind of deal going on here? やっぱり魚系なんですね。イワシを取って乾燥させてこの辺りで取引していたようですね It’s fish-based after all. It seems like they took sardines, dried them, and traded them around here.
佐久間象山の砲術塾跡ってこの辺りにあったみたいです It seems that Sakuma Shozan’s gunnery school ruins were located around here. 有名ですけど長野県の出身のね。この辺りで塾を開いたんですね He’s famous and he’s from Nagano Prefecture. He opened a cram school around here. そうだったんですね！ It’s was so! なるほど I see. 何だろうさっきのラーメン屋さんは？ What is that ramen shop from earlier? 徳川家康のラーメンみたいな、変なの売ってましたね They were selling strange things like Tokugawa Ieyasu’s ramen.
どうやったら How should the shop do it? そういうラーメンになるんだろう？結構ボリュームありそうでしたけど Is that what the ramen will be like? It seemed quite voluminous though. 戦国武将ラーメンとか言ってね It said..“Sengoku Busho Ramen” lol 期間限定なんですけど It’s for a limited time only. 「どうする家康」に合わせてやってるんだと思うんですが I think they are doing it in accordance with “What should Ieyasu do?”(Japanese Historical Drama).
あそこなんか徳川家康にゆかりがあるんですかね Does that place have anything to do with Tokugawa Ieyasu? わかんないんですけど I don’t know. その戦国武将ラーメンをやるんだったら If they’re going to do that Sengoku Busho ramen, 戦国武将ゆかりの食べ物をやるんだったら If they’re going to serve food related to Sengoku warlords… 精進料理にした方がいいと思いますね I think it would be better to have vegetarian cuisine. 戦国時代ラーメンなんてありませんし There is no ramen in Sengoku period.
みんな、白い白米もなかったので Everyone didn’t have white rice either. 雑穀米を食べていたと思うので I think they were eating mixed grain rice. 戦国武将ゆかりの食べ物だったら雑穀米でも売ったらどうですかね If it’s a food related to Sengoku warlords, why not sell mixed grain rice as well? 雑穀米おにぎりでも。私はその方がいいですけどねw Even mixed grain rice balls. I prefer that though lol もうお腹すいたんですよ。まだ10時ですけどお腹すいたんですよ I’m already hungry. It’s only 10 o’clock, but I’m hungry.
朝早く起きたからお腹空いちゃってね I woke up early in the morning, so I’m hungry. もうやれないので I think that I can’t do it anymore. ファミマでちょっとしたチョコレート買ってきましたが So I bought some chocolate at Family Mart. チョコレート食べました I ate chocolate. グミとかだとお腹が満たされないからダメだし I don’t like gummy bears because they don’t fill my stomach. もっとガッツリしてるとね But if I eat higher-calorie foods,
動けなくなるんでチョコレートぐらいにしておきます I won’t be able to move, so I’ll just stick to chocolate. チョコをちょこっと食べました！ちょっと回復したので歩きましょう I ate some chocolate! I’ve recovered a bit, so let’s walk. この辺り深川飯の店がめっちゃ多いので深川のエリアですね There are so many Fukagawa-meshi restaurants around here, so it’s in the Fukagawa area. 江戸といえば深川のイメージありますけどね When you think of Edo, you think of Fukagawa.
深川めし食べたいけど私はもうファミマでチョコをょこっと食べましたんで I want to eat Fukagawa Meshi, but I already had some chocolate at Family Mart. もう深川飯には目もくれません！ I won’t even pay attention to Fukagawa Meshi anymore! だいぶ歩きましたね。東陽町の駅が近くなってきました We walked quite a bit. Toyocho station is getting closer 東西線も東陽町の駅ですね Tozai Line is also a station in Toyocho. だいぶ落ち着いてきましたね It’s calmed down a lot.
商店街がいくらかあったんですけど There were some shopping streets. それもなくなってちょっと都会的な…新しいビルが増えてきましたね Now that that is gone, there are more and more urban-like new buildings. 商店街よりは新しいビルがね。 New buildings rather than shopping streets. 島の方に、埋め立て地の方にちょっと出てみたいんですけど I’d like to go out to the island, to the reclaimed land. 夢の島あたり出てみたいところですけど、まあね… I’d like to go to Yume no Shima, but…
体力が温存できたらなんとかちょっと島の方まで見に行こうと思います If I can conserve my stamina, I’ll try to go see the island a little bit. 小学校の時に食べてた給食の野菜スープみたいな香りがふんわりと It smells like the vegetable soup I had for school lunch in elementary school. 漂ってきてて美味しそうですね It’s floating and looks delicious こんなに昔の記憶もよみがえるもんなんですね It brings back so many old memories. 匂いってすごいですね The smell is amazing
もう深川めしの匂いにもやられて I’m already overcome by the smell of Fukagawa Meshi. それで給食のスープの濃い匂いにもやられてるので That’s why the strong smell of the school lunch soup also puts me off. もうちょっとテロがやばいですねw Terrorism(of smell) is a little more dangerous lol Are you OK? テロがすごいですね…本当に。テロにあいすぎてて… Terrorism is amazing…really. I’ve been exposed to too many (food) terrorist attacks…
さっきの人転んだけど大丈夫かな？大丈夫そうですね The guy from earlier fell down, is he okay? Looks like it’s okay 起き上がれなくなったらどうしようかなと思ってたら I was wondering what I would do if he couldn’t get up. ちゃんと起き上がりましたね He woke up properly. よかったよかった… Good, good… まあね Well 都会の人ってああいうのを結構見て見ぬふりするんですけど People in the city tend to turn a blind eye to things like that.
私やっぱりさすがにあんまり見て見ぬふりはしたくないんですね After all, I don’t want to turn a blind eye too much. ただね It’s just… あそこで助けたら(恋愛的な意味で)勘違いするということもあるので If I help him there, he might misunderstand me (in a romantic sense). まあねちょっと遠くから…若干見守ってたんですけど Well, I was watching him from a little distance… まぁなんとか大丈夫そうで良かったです Well, I’m glad it’s okay somehow. あれはねもしね
ほんと倒れても立てなくなってる様子だったら If It looked like he couldn’t stand up even if he really fell down, 救急車でも呼ぼうかなと思ったんですけど I thought maybe I should call an ambulance. まあよかった大丈夫そうでしたね Well, it looked okay. もう完全に埋め立て地というか It’s already a complete landfill. 海の埋め立て地の、海の近く Near the ocean, on a marine landfill っていう感じの街並みになってきましたね The cityscape has started to look like this.
錆びてますね歩道橋が！ The pedestrian bridge is rusting! 多分これ海風かなんかで錆びるんじゃないのかな Maybe it will rust due to the sea breeze or something. 塩の関係ですね多分 It’s probably related to the salt. Smoking time. こんなところにクソデカ住宅地がある There’s a really big residential area in a place like this. すごいな。こういうやつが何軒も何軒もありますね That’s amazing. There are many places like this. テナントじゃなくて
内科とかの数もすごい…マンモス団地ですね The number of internal medicine departments is also amazing…it’s a mammoth housing complex. すごいね。この建物ジオラマとかで作ったら楽しそうですね amazing. It would be fun to make something like this building diorama. ジオラマ作ったことないんですけれども I’ve never made a diorama before. ミニチュアとかにしても面白そう It would be interesting to make it into a miniature.
このままこう丸ごと一棟欲しい形してますね I’m looking like I want a whole building like this. なんか遊び道具に良さそうだw …遊んではいけません Looks like it would be good as a plaything lol …Don’t play with it! 住宅で遊んじゃいけませんけど I shouldn’t play the house lol なんかすごい薄っぺらい感じで面白いなこれ This is so funny because it feels so shallow. 縦に高くて横に広くてっていうね It’s tall vertically and wide horizontally.
すごいなここ何の踏切だろう Amazing, what kind of railroad crossing is this? 工業用車でも通るのかなこれ？ Is this suitable for industrial vehicles? 工業用車っていう用語あるのか分かんないですけど…すげえなここ。 I don’t know if there is a term called “industrial vehicle”, but…this is amazing. 一般の人は通れないんですかねここ？ Isn’t the general public allowed to pass through here? こんなとこ鉄道あったっけ？ Was there a train here? これあれだ This is..
メトロの東京メトロの車庫とかに繋がってる線路ですね This is the track that connects to the Tokyo Metro depot. 何かと思った。地下鉄の車庫、一応地上なんですね I thought something. The subway garage is above ground. なるほどね I see. すごいなんか埋め立て地的な雰囲気になってきたな Wow, it’s starting to feel like a landfill. 倉庫があるね There’s a warehouse. すごいね貨物もいっぱい通って、貨物車みたいなのも通ってますね That’s amazing. There’s a lot of cargo passing through, and even freight cars. うわぁ日差しがえげつない Wow, the sunlight is harsh. またグラサン持ってくるの忘れましたね I forgot to bring the sunglasses again.
グラサン欲しいな。太陽にやられちゃいそうです I want sunglasses. I feel like I’m going to be hit by the sun. このサイゼめっちゃ日当たり良さそうですね This Saizeriya looks like it’s going to be very sunny. これAOKIのビルじゃん。ほとんどAOKIが This is AOKI’s building. Mostly AOKI… 所有してるんでしょうけど…AOKIサイゼですね I guess AOKI owns it… AOKI Saizeriya lol クソデカショッピングモールというか It’s a fucking big shopping mall.
ショッピングセンターが近いかな Is there a shopping center nearby? 暑い！もう本当暑い焦げそう！頭を白に染めた方がいいかも HOT! It’s already really hot and I’m about to burn! Maybe I should dye my head white. 頭黒いから多分暑いんですよね It’s probably hot because I have a black head. 頭が焼けるやばい My head is burning badly… クソでかい橋が見えてきましたね A fucking huge bridge came into view. 京葉線ですね(？) It’s the Keiyo Line (?)
京葉線だねあれ京葉線で合ってるよね？？？…いや違うね It’s the Keiyo Line. That’s the Keiyo Line, right? ? ? …No, that’s not true. 東西線だ。京葉線走ってるはずがない。東西線ですね It’s the Tozai line. There’s no way the Keiyo Line is running. It’s the Tozai Line. ここは荒川の橋ですね This is Arakawa Bridge.
橋を登ると荒川渡らないといけなくなっちゃうんでちょっと脇道を通っていきましょうね。しばらく If I climb the bridge, I’ll have to cross the Arakawa River, so let’s take a little side road. for a while. うわーすごい立体交差だな Wow, that’s an amazing overpass. 構造物王国ですね It’s the kingdom of structures. これはもうすごいね This is already amazing こういうのを下から俯瞰するのも楽しいですね It’s fun to see things like this from below.
左は鉄道ですね。東西線ですね The train is on the left. It’s the Tozai Line 東京地下鉄株式会社東西線工務部。東西線の敷地みたいなところなんですね Tokyo Subway Co., Ltd. Tozai Line Engineering Department. It’s like the Tozai Line site. 東西線もこの辺りになるとね完全に地上に出ますからね The Tozai Line also goes completely above ground around here. やっぱり建設費用とか、地下に線路敷くとかかるので After all, there are construction costs involved when laying tracks underground.
ここは川も渡るし本当に外に出てますね You can also cross the river by the subway(the Tozai Line) here, so it is really outside. 鉄道の中にはね川の下にトンネル掘って川の下を通るものも Some railways dig tunnels under the river and pass under the river. あったと思いますけど不思議ですけどね I think there was, and it’s strange. 東西線はそんなことないです There is no such thing on the Tozai Line.
川の上を通っていきますね The subway,the Tozai Line going over the river… おあーこの公園 Oh this park! いろんなところに鳩が大集合するんだな Pigeons gather in many places. 全部ハトですねこれ。見えますかこれ This is all pigeons. Can you see this? 鳩が横一列にめっちゃ並んでます Pigeons are lined up in a row. ハト生息しすぎですね There are too many pigeons. 餌やり禁止になってるwやっぱ鳩がいるから Feeding is prohibited lol because there are pigeons after all.
みんな鳩に餌やろうとするんですね Everyone is trying to feed the pigeons. 鳩に餌やる人 person feeding pigeons, 結構見たことあるけど都内は基本的にあんまりやらない方がいいですよ I’ve seen it quite a bit, but it’s generally better not to do it too much in Tokyo. ずっと前からそうですけどこの辺り It’s been like this for a long time, but around here 完全に埋め立て地ですよね It’s completely a landfill. 新しい四角いお家が多い Many new square houses!
みんな四角い…斜めのお家があまりないですね They’re all square…there aren’t many slanted houses. 四角いですね It’s square. あー結構、ショートカットしちゃってる気がしますね Ah, I feel like I’m taking a lot of shortcuts. もしかしたら早く亀戸駅へ戻ってきちゃうかもしれない Maybe I’ll come back to Kameido station soon. そしたら時間があれば別の場所へ行きたいところです If I have time, I would like to go somewhere else. あちらは、荒川なんですけど堤防が高いですね That’s the Arakawa River, but the embankment is high.
やっぱり荒川っていうのは氾濫するととんでもないことになるんで After all, if the Arakawa River floods, it will be terrible. それだけ分対策がしてありますね We have taken precautions to that extent. この辺りってどうなんだろう？低地ですよね I wonder what’s going on around here? It’s a lowland, isn’t it? 海抜0m地帯ですよね多分 I guess it depends on the altitude above sea level.
そうすると荒川の水位の方が Then the water level of Arakawa will be higher than この辺りの土地の高さ よりは高いのだと思いますね the height of the land around here. すると荒川は堤防を超えて溢れちゃうと Then if the Arakawa River would overflow over its embankments, この辺も全体的に水浸しになって 荒川の一部になっちゃいますよね this area is also completely flooded and becomes part of the Arakawa River.
もう本当に関東大震災もね the Great Kanto Earthquake occurred 100 years ago. 100年になりましたから It’s been 100 years. 起こるんじゃないかとは言われていますね It is said that it may happen a new quake. せっかくいい感じの階段があるので Because there are some nice stairs. せっかくなので荒川を見に行きますかね I would like to take this opportunity to go see Arakawa.
荒川ですね。首都外環道路かな？わかんないけど通ってます。綺麗ですね It’s Arakawa. Is it the capital outer ring road? I don’t know, but I go there. It’s beautiful. 晴れてるからね Because it’s sunny. お船がいっぱい通ってる！何のための船なんだろう？なんか調査するためなのか？ There are a lot of ships passing by! What is this ship for? Is it for some kind of investigation?
魚は取れるのかな？取れるのか知らないですけど Will I be able to catch fish? I don’t know if I can get it though.. 取れても汚そうですよねw Even if I can get, it looks dirty lol 勝手な偏見で申し訳ないんですけど I apologize for my selfish bias. あんまり美味しくない魚取れそうですねw Looks like I’ll be able to catch fish that isn’t very tasty lol というわけで荒川こんな感じです So Arakawa looks like this.
今日は晴れてるので綺麗に見えます It’s sunny today so it looks beautiful. 葛西臨海公園の観覧車も見えますね You can also see the Ferris wheel at Kasai Rinkai Park. 葛西臨海公園この前に行きましたね。いいですよ I went to Kasai Rinkai Park recently. It was nice. のんびりするのにいいですよ〜 It’s good for relaxing 葛西臨海公園ね。すごいすごい高速道路！ What an amazing highway!
でっかいトラックが！何トンあるかなっていうトラックが走ってますね A huge truck! There’s a truck driving by that weighs a lot of tons. 反対側、「船宿泉水」…宿だったんですね On the other side, “Funayado Sensui”…It was an inn. 昔、船の人とか移動しててこういう宿に泊まると思うんですけど In the past, I think people on ships would stay at hotels like this when they were traveling. そのための宿だったんでしょうね I guess the inn was for that purpose.
全然 not at all お宿じゃなかった。釣具とかを売ってるとこだった It wasn’t an inn. これだいぶ内部。亀戸水神の駅の近くですね。 This is quite internal. It’s near Kameido Suijin Station. 亀戸線の踏切がありますね There is a railroad crossing on the Tobu Kameido Line. ほんともう路面電車ぐらいの規模ですねこれ This is really the size of a streetcar. あれ8000系で合ってますよね That’s the Tobu 8000 series, right? 8000なんぼって書いてあったよね It said 8000, right? 8000系でしょうね。私数字を覚えるの得意じゃないんですよ It’s probably the 8000 series. 全然覚えらんなかったですwなんとかの戦いがいつ頃にあったよ！ぐらいはね I couldn’t remember at all lol “When was the battle of some kind happening?” まあ今それだったらわかるんですけど Well, if that’s the case now, I understand. 別に何年でもいいじゃんって思うんですよね I don’t think any number of battle or incidents years is fine. 本当にねwなんでその年号覚える必要あるのって Really? どういう経緯で起こったかの方が重要なんじゃないかな I think it’s more important how it happened. そういう戦いとか戦、何とかの乱とかね… Such battles, battles, some kind of rebellion… そういうのは経緯の方が、だいたいこの時期何時代にあった The reason for occurring the battles or incidents is important. 何時代の初期だとか後期だとかで “What era is it early or late?” その経緯がね一番大事だと思います I think the background is the most important thing. あんなね暗記科目だとね本当に無理です It’s really impossible to memorize subjects like that.

江東区からスカイツリーて見えるんですが You can see the Sky Tree from Koto Ward. そりゃあ隣が墨田区だから見えますよね Well, you can see it because it’s next door to Sumida Ward. 花王のクソデカビルと…墨田区と書いてありますね Kao’s damn big building… it says Sumida Ward. 花王は一応墨田区になってます。でここは江東区ですね Kao is located in Sumida Ward. So this is Koto Ward.
久々に際のところまでやってきました。川がありますね It’s been a long time since I’ve come close to this. There’s a river. 北十間川っていう名前らしいですね It seems to be called Kitajukkengawa River. 横十間川が突き当たりですけど The Yokojyukken River is at the end. 北側にあるので北十間川なんでしょうね It’s on the north side, so it must be the Kitajukken River.

なんか杉並区の辺境の地は Somewhere in the middle of Suginami Ward, 都営住宅とお墓と農園ばっかりだったんですけど It was full of metropolitan housing, graves, and farms. ここはなんというか川が多いな There are a lot of rivers here. 水路が多いね。お墓もないし住宅はあるけど農園は全然ないですね There are many waterways. There are no graves, there are houses, but no farms. 性格違います。あと気づいたのやっぱ They have different personalities. I also noticed that
江東区は公園の中禁煙ですね Smoking is prohibited inside parks in Koto Ward. もう徹底してますね去年からですね It’s been doing it thoroughly since last year. そういうのも分かりまして…やっぱ歩くとわかるもんですね I understand that…I guess I can understand it by walking. とりあえず戻りますか Shall I go back for now? 亀戸駅へ To Kameido station すごいな、あの喫煙所どうやっていくのかな That’s amazing, I wonder how I’m going to get to that smoking area.
横断歩道渡ったところの空き地に In the vacant lot just across the crosswalk, 喫煙所あるけど… There is a smoking area… というわけで新木場駅に So at Shinkiba station, バスを乗り継いでやってきました I came here by changing buses. もうちょっと先まで行きたかったんですが I wanted to go a little further. そこまで行くバスを乗り逃しちゃったので But I missed the bus going there. とりあえず新木場まで来ました。一応まあ埋め立て地ですね Anyway, I came to Shinkiba. Well, it’s a landfill after all.
1回新木場って来たことあるんですよ I’ve been to Shinkiba once. だいぶ大昔だね。いつだったかな。ちょっと西日が凄まじいですね It was quite a long time ago. When was that? The sun in the west is a bit intense. とりあえずちょっと歩いてみますか I’d like to take a walk for now. ここがちゃんと埋め立て地で島なのだということをね This place is actually a reclaimed land and an island. 分かっていただこうと思います I hope you understand. 新木場というのはですね What is Shinkiba?
新しい木場ですね。そのままなんですけど This is the new Kiba. It’s just like that though 「木場」っていうのはね What does “Kiba” mean? 昔木材が集められていた関係で付けられた地名で The place name was given because wood was collected in the past. 「木場」というところもあるんですけど There’s also a place called “Kiba”. ここは「新木場」です This is “Shinkiba” 新しく設けられた木の集積場みたいなところですね It’s like a newly established wood storage area.
で今倉庫とかやっぱ多いです So, there are a lot of warehouses now. 海の近くなので物流センターとか佐川があるな It’s near the sea, so there’s a distribution center and Sagawa. ここは京葉線そして有楽町線の駅になっていますね This is a station on the Keiyo Line and Yurakucho Line. 私昔新木場に行ったのね。この辺り I went to Shinkiba a long time ago. around here 広いのでフェ会場みたいなのあるんですね It’s so spacious that it’s like a festival venue.
それで行きましたね新木場に。ウィラーエクスプレスも居ますね So I went to Shinkiba. There is also Willer Express. すごいな。あれおしゃれなビルジングですね That’s amazing. That’s a stylish building! もうビルディングっていうよりも「ビルジング」って感じですね It feels more like “builZing” than a building. もうおしゃれだな。すごい、誰がデザインしたんでしょう It’s already fashionable. Wow, who designed it? はいこれが橋です。これ川じゃなくて東京湾です Yes, this is the bridge. This is not a river, it’s Tokyo Bay.
すごいなもう埋め立てられてんな That’s amazing, it’s already being reclaimed. この辺が埋め立て地だってわかるのがね You know this area is a landfill. やっぱりこうなんて言うんですか 海の縁の感じが鉄というか The edge of the sea feels like iron. コンクリートというか自然の感じじゃないですね It is like concrete. できてるのでやっぱり埋め立て地なんですね It’s a landfill, after all. 向こう側に行った方が分かりやすかったかな It would have been easier to understand if I went to the other side.
向こう、すごく見てみたいんだけど照り返しがすごくてね I really want to see over there, but there’s a lot of glare. この新木場自体もだいぶ島なんですけど Shinkiba itself is quite an island. この先もね島ですね This is another island. 向こうの方ビルが見えますね You can see the building on the other side. 豊洲かなあれ？豊洲とかビッグサイトとかが。 Is that Toyosu? Toyosu and Big Sight. ビッグサイトのあるところなんだっけ Is this where the big site is?
東京テレポートだとか…あの辺じゃないですか。あっち側ですね多分ね Isn’t it Tokyo Teleport or something like that? ＜ルール＞
①東京都23区のうちのどれかの区の外周を歩いて一周する
②区はその都度ダーツで選定する。同じものを引いたりハズレを引いた場合はやり直し。
③区境沿いに公共交通機関があった場合、その部分だけ交通機関利用可。
④民家の間や川や海の上は泳げないので近くの道路を通る。
⑤交通機関を使う場合を除き、徒歩以外の手段の利用は不可。
⑥なるべく1日で終了するが、外周が30kmを超えるものは2日間で実施する。
⑦飛び地や島嶼部は省略する。
⑧いずれは必ず23区周り切る(突然挫折するかもしれないので皆さん定期的に応援よろしくお願いします！)。
