Say what you will I’m getting as many of my people out of here alive as I can. Hello! I’m Mariya Ise, the voice of Luna in Goddess Order. 「Luna」
CV. Mariya Ise Q. What kind of character is Luna? Luna is the former captain of Wikhatt battlemage battalion, who exiled to Kaplan to save the people of Wikhatt who were treated like expendables under Princess Ingrid’s rule. On the surface, she appears as a bit cold and cool character, but inside she has a warm and kind heart. So when I was voicing Luna, I tried to delicately express Luna’s sense of justice and her care and affection for her companions. Q. What do you find cute about Luna? During recording, I often wondered how to deliver her lines and how to act in conversation scenes, thinking about what the situation was and what emotions she had. Voice actor Sho Hayami directed me. He is a voice actor with full of experiences. As a veteran actor, he helped me bring out Luna’s cute side through his direction. It made the character feel more human and closer to a three-dimensional being. Having Luna’s traits and mine blended well in a positive way. So the moments when Luna shows her girlish side time to time are the cute points of the character. Q. What foods do Luna and you like? Luna’s favorite food is steak with plenty of melted cheese on top. Sounds really delicious. I also like melted cheese, as well as steak, so Luna and I have similar tastes. Seems our food palates match well. However, my favorite food is sushi. Q. What do you enjoy these days? What I enjoy… Well, recently both during work travel and in my personal time, I like to capture daily scenery so I take a lot of photos with my phone. But I’ve been thinking that if I’m taking so many, I might as well get a quality digital camera or even a film camera and take better photos. Q. Tell us about the recording session! We dedicated our time to do the recording carefully, so when it was over, I felt like Luna had deeply settled inside me. It felt like she was breathing with me, so I felt a great sense of achievement. So it feels like in the game, I went on an adventure with Luna and lived alongside her. Q. Any final message? From the recording stage, I was really looking forward to seeing how the final work would turn out. I hope many people enjoy it!
