“Ranma1/2” Season 2 Opening Movie Reaction THE BEST REMAKE ANIME IS BACK ! TVアニメ「らんま1/2」第2期
Anime opening time. So, hold on here because it’s time for my favorite time of the year, right? New MS coming out, new openings. And the first open for this new season is called Rama one and a half. One of my all-time favorite shows. I have all the mangas. Of course, I’ve seen the original anime. I love season one of the remake. Of course, I also love Loom for that matter. Love Lum. Of course, we go check out Ralma’s new opening here. And yeah, what can I say? I mean, yeah, the first the first was fantastic. I already ordered it. I really really loved it. Um, it was just it was really fun, too, because I mean the fight around really fun, right? They’re really vibical. So, that like mixture of whimsicalness and cool action scenes was just really fantastic seeing map, you know, like really make it into that and so on. And all the yolks are timeless classics, right? Uh same thing with lum you know uh in the amite is a romcom it’s a red ship drama comedy amite so all the yolk still last for me I as it really I really love this one but anyway this has a new opening the video guys subscribe press that like button this we break down each scene right here we go okay mak fighting mong there’s a lot of mong references here definitely The Mong number one. Yeah. Yeah. This the first thing in Mong of water. Okay. Chess. Okay. They’re fighting Moose and Rio cuz Moose has been there. We had the remainder of course. Okay. Good. Good. Oh. U my girl man. Yeah. She’s going to be right. And then Shoo. Okay. Shampoo and coming in. Gorge. Shampoo’s grab. Obviously there kicks the ball angry to Ralma to the eightball pool ball. Okay, [Music] cute. Okay, Chinese mama. Yes, controversial Rama. Oh, that’s the classic melting clocks there. Another horse faces. This is so stupid. [Music] As long as Rama’s cast is massive. You see the reference of the for all level. Oh, there’s like this sport game. So, this is a sport I play later, but it’s basically that you get like get something you have, right? So, you get a common course like get a love or something. Yeah, it’s like get the girl you love it. Everyone running after them almost dating. Please just be dating already. Yeah. and are they gonna date a moose in there? Yeah, let’s break it down guys. Let me first explain this thing here. I think immediately, right? This here is a very classic Japanese thing. So, in Japanese like school festivals or culture festival they call, right? Tend to have this thing of like you get a list. It’s like get these 10 items like a treasure hunt. So, like get an apple, a ring, right? You know, get get like a weapon or whatever, right? So of course the yoke here is that the note is like get a woman you’re in love with or whatever. He runs to get a that’s why he gets up her head like oh it’s me you know and it’s some kind of yoke that like get a woman you interested in whatever course that being said right in Rama too it has to be a dumb yoke obviously right it’s so this might be an episode where it’s like get you know an angry woman or something right she thinks like you know love interest but like an aggressive crazy tomboy right there something over there obvious obviously but anyway let’s go back to the beginning of the opening so first of all right it’s clearly Mong see in the beginning. Yeah. Yeah. So it turns into like Mong uh flicks, right? And now they’re fighting and so on falling in a bunch of Mong, right? So obviously Mong is a game I actually play competitive many years. I love Mong. One of my favorite games of all time. Uh all different bricks flying around, right? Or different Mong tiles. So you see this is mostly the red then like red three red eight up there red seven so for red five in the corner there and the bald flag in that’s number one okay because here soon that’s number one yeah that’s number one in one of the call three calls in my and now it’s like a chess fight instead right so a lot of board game reference here of course but yeah now it’s like you know chess and this is like the new character Moose coming in right I think one thing we see opening here is that Moose and Ukio has a lot of screen time right Now I cook with my girl Ukyo. He’s fighting Shabu. I love him part during the war. So one thing is very clear in the open I think first and foremost is that Ukio has a lot of screen time. Correct me if I’m wrong here but I pretty sure Ukio should actually not be in this season. So this is basically the Rama I would call her number three right or likely candidate to actually fall in love with right first of course then Shampoo then Ukio but thing is that she appears quite much later in the manga and original anime. So they’re clearly like speeding up her introduction. Moose also appears slightly later perhaps depending on the pacing of season two, right? So he’s also kind of earlier, but Uku is very much earlier. She probably should be in like season four or something like that in this pacing of the one. So she definitely increased here. It’s also reference to older anime here, right? Older anime opening. You see she passing this ball, you get this drawing color light. Look at this in here. So that’s clearly like the old openings and endings, right? Uh one of my favorite endings from the first original Rama is Rama’s running around and they got faced and all they can’t forget him. Then they get that kind of blue line either a blue or red line. He’s like surrounded by all the girl who wants him right. So that is clearly an old reference to the old school Rama ending and all especially the ending then. And overall also of course she hits into shampoo, right? I always found this dynamic interesting because I mean in my opinion right Shapoo is the best girl. Okay, come at me. Come at me guys. Shoo is the best girl. Okay, I said by saying that Shampoo is my love interest. I love I love Shampoo. I think he easily should win. You know, she should easily win and Rama should pick Shampoo. Whatever. Uh but I like this scene here in the opening because it’s like Shoo was Uky, right? Because I always felt like Aana is like the winner because she’s the uji first girl or whatever. She’s the chosen destiny one, right? But Ukio and Shampoo has like a rivalry which I think is more interesting because they both know that Aan has the plot armor, right? And they kind of they fighting each other to try it with or something. But I like that a lot. And then she hits her grandma, right? Yeah. And that is like granny really, you know. Yeah. OG love interest. But I mean even the opening kind of like obviously like right is unfortunate because clearly Shapoo is a true best girl. She’s the ultimate woman in this anime. There you see a little bit rival shapoo and a no this is a controversial drama outfit right. Uh now interesting this is obviously I said on the video but this is clearly you know the share shareman ma suit right outfit. It’s the mouse suit and this is actually censored here in the anime in the real manga right actually has like the like a red star on head and so on. So he looks more Chinese, right? They kind of remove some of the communist symbolism. Then we have a bunch of other characters. So yeah, you know the classic. Then of course ends with her sisters and family being like, “Yes, that’s good. A marry that boy. Marry that.” That’s a good opening. I mean, I like it. Lot of references al especially to the like a lot of callbacks. There’s a better word for it. Yes, callbacks to the original anime and all. One thing I will say though that this this opening actually lags I think the first opening did much better is this like fourth wall yolk. That would be my one critique for this opening definitely. I think the first opening is probably better because one thing I really enjoyed that opening this kind of in the same panel this thing right with all the other character her sister her dad right she takes this she takes the like a water hose and shoots Rama right with water across the screen across the different panels right here in she kind of kicks him into the water which is the classic you know stupid girl Rama thing whatever right but yeah in the first opening of the remake that was better done because it’s kind of like a fourth wall look how she kind of attacked him through the panels Right. Um there was more to see two opening had more Rama whimsical in that sense that that be that I say the only lag here that I don’t think this opening had too much of that like meta forward joking uh because the older openings and endings also had more of that right so that that thing I would say that yeah had more of that anyway guys hope you like the video please subscribe press the like button right now I am soon of course going to watch the final episode of Pantail Stockings And then next week, guys, we have all the new animes, right?
