▍At the closing ceremony of the 2016 Olympic Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, the official handover of the Olympic flag took place, with the mayor of Rio de Janeiro handing over the flag to the governor of Tokyo, the host city of the next Summer Olympic Games in 2020. The flag handover was followed by an eight-minute show, in which Tokyo, the capital of Japan, was introduced to the rest of the world.
