Iriyama Anna’s 1st Photobook Utsukushii Tsumi – A Photographer’s Critique (AKB48 入山杏奈 美しい罪 写真集)
I critique the 1st photobook from AKB48 girl Iriyama Anna (入山杏奈) called 美しい罪 or in English Beautiful Sin. I review it from the point of view of a photographer and less as a fan, so it is more of a critique of the photos and the book as a whole. There are many great photos in this photo book as well as bad. I will go over things such as lighting, posing, locations, mood, as well as editing. The book it 1000 times better in person than it is in scans and online so I recommend picking it up if you are a fan.

Just awesome, awesome work! I can't wait to pick this up in Tokyo! I liked the silhouette shot with her on the edge of the bed. Very interesting stuff! Good work Josh!!!
Hey, I just finished going over the play list of your photobook vids. You seriously are getting better and better with every video! Keep it up. Could you do me a favor though, I noticed (aside from the Watanabe Mayu's 3rd photobook 知らないうちに) you never say who the photographer is. I'd be keen on looking them up, even if you cannot read their name, would you include a close up shot of it? I noticed that most photo books are photographed by the same group of photogs.
Also, I don't know if you are a Leslie Kee Fan or not, but he did Yamamoto Sayaka's SY photo collection/album. I felt it was really awesome, and different in the fact that it has a real strong fashion photography feel to it, crazy mix of photos with either hard or flat lighting.
Lastly, just as a note, in 13:50 ish of this vid, the face Iriyama Anna is making is probably from the smell of the tofu. They are in Taiwan (also, that is why her shirt says "I Heart Taiwan"), and she is eating a famous dish called "Stinky Tofu". I'm sure you can find it in the LA area, I certainly can in the SF bay area, check it out, and see if you make the same face! 🙂
