Since two teams were tied, both of them were declared winners and received one million Yen each.

From this episode onward, The Bomb Room had a minor adjustment so that instead of the last two players “exploded” together, the last player could continue playing the game as long as they cut the correct wire, even if their teammates had been exploded. This episode probably demonstrated the best example, since Aki Takajo and Sayuri Kokusho immediately failed on the first question. If using the old rule, the team would immediately fail on the first stage, and possibly became a team with the worst performance ever in the series.
However, Osamu Shitara made up his mistake by careful thinking and eventually escaped the stage with three consecutive correct answers; the best comeback win scenario ever happened in the series.

Team Audrey’s failed attempt in The Stone Monster Room holds the record for the worst attempt ever. Masayasu Wakabayashi, Ai Haruna and Hiroiki Ariyoshi couldn’t even answer a single question before being “eaten”. This record even manages to stand during the next spiritual successor show TORE!, since none of future participants in several-year worth of gameshow tied the record.

This was the first time that a new stage called 壁の間 (The Wall Room) was played in the show.

Yuki Himura, Sayuri Kokusho and Tomomi Itano in The Ceiling Room holds the record for a successful escape under the shortest time limit. They started the Duct Challenge section with only 15cm / 5.9055in left. Moreover, they faced the worst luck as the picked key didn’t fit either Yuki or Sayuri’s shackles, meaning Tomomi was the third person to try, and as result she entered the duct with only 10cm / 3.9370in remaining.

Shingo Murakami, Yuki Nakata and Hong Man Choi in The Water Room became the only team in the show to perfectly clear “Last Answer Quiz” section. In other words, they managed to answer the first three questions without making any mistakes. Therefore, they also hold the record for the fastest stage clearance with 17cm (6.6929in) water height difference, and finished the game with 9cm (3.54331in) remaining, the highest number ever seen in the series.
