She made her debut as a singer in 1984 with the single “First Date.” Her pure, charming image and clear singing voice quickly garnered popularity. She subsequently released hits such as “Little Princess” and “Dreaming Girl,” and pursued a wide range of activities, including acting in television dramas. Amid the idol boom of the time, she was positioned as a promising “next-generation ace.”
However, her rapid success also placed great pressure on her. On April 8, 1986, she took her own life by jumping from the building of her agency. She was 18 years old.
