    約3年振りに帰ってきました、“アニソン界の大型新人”鈴木雅之です。

    『かぐや様は告らせたい』シリーズには2019年のアニメスタート以来、これで5作連続での主題歌提供となりました。

    来年古希を迎えますが、こうやって素晴らしい作品と共に歩んでいけるのは、45年歌い続けてきたことの意味を強く実感しています。

    最新作「アブナイキオク」のデュエットパートナーである古賀葵さんとは、「かぐや様」のイベントでも何度かお会いしていましたが、初めてレコーディングの現場を共にした今回、曲で描こうとした世界を理解し入り込んで表現してくれていた姿は流石の一言でした。3年を経た主人公二人の新たな恋の駆け引きが表現されていると思います。

    まずはこの曲を聴いて、年末に放送される新たな恋愛頭脳戦を一緒に楽しみに待ちましょう。

    After nearly three years, I’m back — the “Newcomer of Anison” Masayuki Suzuki.

    Since the launch of the Kaguya-sama: Love Is War anime in 2019, this marks my fifth consecutive theme song for the series. As I approach my 70th birthday next year, being able to continue walking alongside such a wonderful work truly makes me feel the meaning of having sung for 45 years.

    For the latest song, “Abunai Kioku,” my duet partner is Aoi Koga. We’ve met several times at Kaguya-sama events, but this was the first time we shared the recording booth. Watching her deeply understand the world we aimed to portray in this song and fully immerse herself in its expression was nothing short of impressive. I believe the track beautifully captures the new romantic mind games between the two protagonists, three years on.

    First, enjoy this song — and together, let’s look forward to the new battle of love and wits airing at the end of the year.

    「かぐや様は告らせたい」第1期からこれまで、オープニング主題歌という形で作品を支え彩り、

    一緒に歩んでくださった鈴木雅之さんと、まさか今回オープニングを歌わせて頂けるなんて！

    今も全身が震えています。

    大変嬉しく光栄なことであると共に、私にとって特別な作品のオープニングだからこそ、色んな感情が巡っています。

    「アブナイキオク」、収録もすごく緊張しましたが今回の作品サブタイトルにもなっている「大人への階段」も意識したり、

    かぐやたちのこれまでを思い浮かべながら、私にできる精一杯の想いを込めました。

    From the very first season of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Masayuki Suzuki has supported and colored this series through its opening themes, walking alongside the story all these years.

    To think that I would be given the opportunity to sing the opening theme this time—I still can’t stop trembling.

    It is a tremendous honor and brings me immense joy. At the same time, because Kaguya-sama is such a special work to me, so many emotions are swirling inside my heart.

    Recording “Abunai Kioku” was incredibly nerve-wracking. I sang while keeping in mind the subtitle of this project, “The Stairway to Adulthood,” and reflecting on everything Kaguya and the others have experienced so far. I poured every ounce of feeling I could into this song.

    I would be delighted if you listen to the music again and again, and let it expand your experience of the world of Kaguya-sama.
