世代ではないのですが、本当に歌が上手くてリズム感も抜群でかっこいいレジェンドです！流星のサドルが一番好きです！
80年代に公民館でソニーのアーティストのPVを見せてくれるイベントがあって、そこで「流星のサドル」を見ました。
40年ぶりですが、全然色褪せず、素晴らしさを再認識できました！

My family in California hosted my Japanese exchange student sister for one year, for 1988-1989. We taught each other about American and Japanese food, language, history, music and movies… and from her music, I INSTANTLY LOVED this song the most! I learned to sing it in Japanese while she lived with my family, and we danced and sang to all of your music in our bedroom, not two foreigners, but just two sisters, happy, dancing, and loving your music! After Megumi returned to Japan, when I graduated high school, her Tokyo high school gave me a scholarship to visit and attend her high school in Tokyo as a student-teacher!! and.. I WOWED my classmates on a bus road trip by being able to sing THIS SONG, my favorite Japanese pop song of all time, on our karaoke bus. Just by me, this "strange" white girl from America being able to sing your song in front of my fellow students, I was able to make so many new friends, and it was a WONDERFUL time. I am SO HAPPY I found this song again, after so many years… Toshi-san, you did not know it, but your music brought our nations together, and helped create a bond and a connection between a Japanese and an American high school, and helped forge international friendships that have lasted 30 years. This song brought two worlds together. ARIGATO!!
