The Rolls Royce of defending. Big, strong, slick, swift, clever and fucking immaculate. Legend.
Lenny Yoro, are ya listening?!
I just remembered Wes Brown had cornrows 😂😂😂😂😂
never knew he was that iconic
They got rid of his prime understudy Jonny Evans after he, vida and evra went. No continuity of mentality at the club. Self sabotaging scums.
He’s perfectly made for modern football too; he’d be most expensive defender in the world again
Another Real Aerial Fort💀
Ppl are still raving about VvD where Erling Haaland is arguably the best striker in the league 😂😂😂😂😂😂
He is the goat prem defender. Not Terry and definitely not VVD. He had the wonderkid stage, he broke world most expensive defender record twice leaving two premier league clubs that weren't part of the big 6, then captained united to the CL, few prems. Kids will see vidic won two potys with rio as his partner but forget 1. Rio was older and 2. Was WC for almost a decade before VIdics first POTY. Longetivity>prime.
Rio from 2006 to right up until 2013 was just an absolute beast to watch.
Anyone from efootball ? 😂
Massively overrated
Love the way Rio engaged and took charge, the greatest defender in the premier league with an added touch of supreme ball skills 👌
Best ball playing defender in his prime
This is what Pool fans think VVD is
Finally some respect.
He's still the best ball playing defender to this day
With Vidic
Interesting technique at 9:12 against Anelka. I think Ferdinand is a natural talent at judo! 😀
Football was so good until the last few years. It’s really rather boring nowadays.
It's insulting for people to compare Van Dijk to this man
I Love Rio , but its funny that all English people think Rio was better CB than Vidic but all Man Utd Fans know Vidic was the better CB
Ferdinand in Efootball26❤
Prime Van djjk is like a child to this man
And people have the guts to compare this Rolls Royce of a player with VVD?!
Which Rio is more dangerous Corn Row, buzzed, or short hair ?
(talking about hairstyle)
One of the most complete centre backs to have ever played the game
It’s hard to remember how good defenders were when the last time they played was a decade or so ago, but this guy is truly generational.
I think he, Terry and Van Dijk are the best defenders this league has seen.
Best CB in the Premier League era, yeah I said that!!!!
Rio was what people think VVD is
THE TALENTED…THE BEAUTIFUL…MONSTER
Always a question mark though, did he have drugs in his system when he missed that test. We will never know.🤷♂️
18 million pounds being the most for a CB is comedy hahahah
He was a ball playing defender before there was even a name for it.
Some of that commentary does Rio so dirty
And dont forget the 1 year ban for failing to give a drug test.
A brilliant player but the one-boot goal must haunt him.
those times ❤, I learned how to play football by watching him playing in mud, and I enjoy that way to play
