NEW BABYMETAL FAN DISCOVERS THERE MUSIC GIMME CHOCOLATE ヘドバンギャHeadbangeeeeerrrrr

They just start out. I was like, “Oh yeah, they they moving and they showing the fans.” They I mean, I know I know they were sweating up in there, though. You know it had to be. Welcome back to the React room. I’m your boy Dom K. We got Paul back in the building today. Yeah. What’s going on, man? Thanks for having me back, bro. No problem. No problem, bro. We about to get into this Japanese group called Baby Metal. It’s It’s three three rock and roll girls who got crazy vocals, but they they they different. I’m going just let you know right now. I rock with them, but they just different. It’s an acquired taste. But I want to get your opinion on them. So, I ain’t going to What they call You said Baby Metal. Baby Metal. Baby Metal. You said Baby Metal, though. It’s three Japanese girls. Baby Metal. Okay. Okay. You going to see. Hey, it’s it’s a little different, but like I said, you going to see We going to get into it. This first song is called Give Me Chocolate. Give me chocolate. Okay. I don’t know what to expect. My own [Music] chocolate. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat up here. [Music] Heat up here. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Applause] Believe it or not, that fan base is crazy. And when I tell you they be they be having it rocking, bro. When I tell you they have it rocking, they like I don’t care what rap show you been to. I don’t care is, bro. The way they be having they crowds rocking, bro. Like, and I’m not talking about Japan. I’m talking about South America. I’m talking about Mexico, bro. They go, they get it rocking in them stadiums because you can hear their vocals. See, the thing I like about them is them vocals when they get to singing. Like, that [ __ ] be fire. What you think about it? There’s a fist. I was Hey, it had me moving. Very uh upbeat. I would say that, you know, very energetic group. I could tell they fan base if you go to a concert. I could tell it’s popping cuz that boom boom boom boom boom, you know, like. But, but I did like it though. I, you know, I didn’t know what to expect when he told me, “Give me chocolate.” And, you know, I never heard of that group. But, um, actually, it was actually good. I was I liked it. I You see me nod my head. It was fast though. I had to Hey, I had to be, you know, rock a little fast for sure. It’s just funny. It’s funny to me how they come up with a song called Give Me Chocolate and and it’s actually a hit. Like it it’s cuz it’s really about chocolate. That’s the funniest part. But the That’s what he said. When he told me the name, I was like, “Oh, I didn’t know what to expect. I was like, I just got to watch the video now.” Then I seen the video and it was just they just started out. I was like, “Oh, yeah. They they moving and they showing the fans. They were I I mean I know I know they were sweating up in there though, right? I know it had to be. This song is called Headbanger. It’s called Headbanger. Oh, it’s called Headbanger. Headbanger. This is Headbanger. Okay. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Good evening. [Music] Baby. [Music] Yeah. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Sweet. [Music] la. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] You’re alone. [Music] [Music] [Music] Yeah, man. That was Baby Metal Headbang. I ain’t gonna lie. When bro, look, man. You know, I played in Japan. I’m Look, I like that type of music, but man, I love me some Baby Metal, man. I like everything about Baby Metal. I like the I like they look. And like I said, it could be in your face out there for people who don’t like that type of music. And now, do I go around listening to rock and roll like that? Absolutely not. But the reason I can listen because I’m going just tell you like the reason I personally can listen to that type of rock and roll is because I don’t like the heavy metal rock and roll where it’s just they just screaming and doing all of that. I like them because I can hear that with vocals like they can actually really sing and mix it together. But that’s why I personally like it. So what you think about the song from what the songs from what you heard? Well, I mean, honestly, just like one of the things that I liked was you actually just being able to hear them, too. Like, I like the clarity of the the vocal. Uh, cuz like you said, a lot of a lot of hard metal, which I don’t listen to a lot. I have, but like you can’t even understand just you don’t know what they’re saying. you hear the beat and it’s super it’s super upbeat and stuff but like you don’t you don’t really know what they’re saying unless you’re just a real fan and you listen to that you know um frequently but like yeah with with them it was more so okay I can hear them singing you know and they didn’t look bad you know doing what they was doing dancing and you know singing and whatnot um but I knew I knew she needed neck brace though with all that head banging knew she needed a neck brace in that video like shout out to the camera man cuz you zooming in and out. It’s it’s like you swinging your head too. That’s what was getting me kind of I ain’t going to It’s funny you bring that up cuz I was getting kind of dizzy watching that because I’m watching it and you just see this and this and this and I’m like bro that that camera ain’t she Hey, they just did the little twirl. You ain’t Hey, when they did the little twirl, oh yeah, I know her neck hurt. I know her neck hurt. I’m a big Baby Metal man. I love me some baby. I be rocking with their music, man. So like I said, no that was the first that was the first time I heard of them. Um, I’m going to check them out though. You know, I’m open to all genres. We don’t just criminate over here, right? Listen to everything. It’s good music. Um, and uh, like, you know, hard metal, baby, you know, baby metal. That’s that’s my first introduction. So, no, I I liked it though. So, that’s what’s up. You know, it was it it was different. I didn’t I didn’t know what to expect. You you said, “Give me chocolate baby.” Okay. And um you know, but like I said, I’m open to all all different genres, man. What’s up, man? Shout out to Baby Metal. Shout out to Baby Metal, man. You guys tell us in the comments, man. What do you think about Baby Metal, Give Me Chocolate, and Head Banger. Are these their two best songs ever? And since we going to introduce Paul to more Baby Metal music, you guys make sure you hit us in the comments and tell us what should I show them next. Um, I don’t know about live performances cuz you get copyright strikes and they already hit us with a strike before. So, I ain’t rocking with them on no live. But you guys send us the music videos you want us to react to and let us know in the comments. That’s all the time we got for today. We up out of here, man. Like, share, comment, subscribe. Always with love. Peace. We out.

  1. Thank you for your reaction! 😊
“Gimme Chocolate!!” is a groundbreaking song by BABYMETAL
that introduced the world to a new genre called “Kawaii Metal,”
brilliantly fusing the intensity of heavy metal
with the cuteness of Japanese idols.
The contrast between the powerful sound
and the heartfelt cry of a girl
“I want to eat chocolate, but I’m worried about gaining weight…”
    is absolutely perfect.
Shouting out such a relatable dilemma
    over a thunderous metal track
is a concept no one else would think of!
It truly embodies BABYMETAL’s unique world
of “cute yet hardcore metal.” 🎸🍫

    Headbangeeeeerrrrr

BABYMETAL’s Fusion of “Youth × Metal”

The title “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!” is a coined term that combines two cultural words: “headbang” and “bangya.”
    Headbang: short for headbanging.
Bangya: refers to female fans who regularly attend live shows of Japanese visual kei bands.

In other words, “a bangya who headbangs” = a girl awakened to metal.
“Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!” is not just a metal song, but a story about a girl who lives a fleeting moment of youth with all her heart.
The song depicts a 15-year-old girl going to a concert of her favorite band and headbanging with abandon.

Gripping a Seishun 18 Kippu (a special train pass that allows unlimited rides on local and rapid JR trains),
the 15-year-old girl declares, “I’ll never forget the night I was fifteen,”
and tries to etch the memory of that concert into her heart through headbanging.

Because both the days of being fifteen and the night of the concert pass by all too quickly.
“The flower that blooms madly will vanish in vain.”

This lyric, sung at the beginning and in the chorus, expresses a fleeting moment that feels like it could slip through her fingers.
The girl desperately tries to hold onto that moment through headbanging.
In the music video, a mysterious box descends from the heavens to the protagonist girl (SU-METAL).
When she opens the lid, inside is the “Legendary Corset.”

Suddenly, the corset attaches itself to her neck, and the girl begins to headbang as if a god has descended upon her.
She transforms into “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!” and synchronizes with the god of headbanging.
She unleashes SENPUUKI Headbanging (electric fan headbanging),

DOGEZA Headbanging (the ultimate Japanese-style bowing headbanging),
and most notably, BABYMETAL’s unique style of headbanging—moving the head side to side.
    This is called “Baby Headbang.”

The side-to-side headbanging seen at the beginning and end of the song, accompanied by the chant “Headbang! Headbang!”
is BABYMETAL’s original style known as “Baby Headbang.”
    Thank you so much 😊👋

  2. Thanks for introducing him and me to new songs. I'll skip Head Banger but looking forward to more, please show him also other international groups from China, India, and Japan. Keep it going 👍👍

  3. Good introduction, well done. There really is no other band like BABYMETAL, they are original and unique. Some have tried to follow and do what they do, none has come close yet.

Very frustrating you got a strike and not even a warning or a claim first. I don't know who that was, but it doesn't sound like it was even their agency Amuse.
There are live performance videos that should be safe for you to use for reactions without fear of strikes or being blocked and live BABYMETAL is even better than the album versions. Look for channels like Hymnodic, The Fox God, Babymetal Reactor Resource, HEAD123456, abr metal, Gans Tomas and I know there are more like them.

'Headbanger' is about a girl going to her first concert on her 15th birthday, but it is also a coming of age thing. In Japan compulsory education ends at 15 so the girl is having to grow up and start making important life decisions.
She realises her first 15 years passed by so quickly and will never return, so she is etching this special night into her heart so she will never forget.

There are special performances of 'Headbanger'. In 2014 the two younger girls Yui (in Paris) and Moa (in Cologne) took over lead vocals for the second half of the song to celebrate their own 15th birthdays.
In 2019 Moa once again took over lead vocals to celebrate her 20th birthday (20 was the official coming of age in Japan, so the lyric was changed to "this special night of my 20th") and in 2023 the new third member Momo had her chance to take the lead on the last night of her being 20, her 21st birthday was the next day.

They even have a dance re-mix version 'Headbanger Night of 15 Re-Mix'. They performed that two times – first on Su-metal's own 15th birthday in Dec 1012 and then for her 16th birthday at their Legend 1997 concert (she was born in 1997) in Dec 2013 – the same concert where the Gimme Chocolate video was filmed.

  4. Please check out Babymetal songs BMC LIVE Su-metal raps on this song also please check out Metal Kingdom live at PIA ARENA My Queen featuring Spirit box and Mirror Mirror enjoy

  5. Fun reaction guys. "Are these their best songs ever?" I'm gonna go with the party line here and just say for me that my favorite song is very often the one I'm listening to. Gimme Chocolate is not IMO their best song but it is a very catchy and important song for BM. Headbanger def is one of their best songs but you really need to watch a live version to get a real feel for how great it is.

  6. I've seen them twice in Dallas and once in Houston, best shows of my life and I'm 48! Easily the best stage performers I've ever seen. The energy and charisma is out the roof!

  7. Haha, good reaction! Best songs ever? Two of many best BABYMETAL songs ever, perhaps 🤣 Too bad you didn´t choose the live version of "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" from the "Legend 1997" concert, the concert the video footage of "Gimme Chocolate!!" was taken from. That one is fire!

Maybe you both could react to two very special live versions of "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!"? In 2019, Moametal took over the lead for the second half of the song, and she was awesome ! In 2024 Momometal did the same (she was not in the videos you watched, she is official third member since 2023). IMHO, Momometal´s version is peak "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" 😁

    – Headbanger!! 『へドバンギャー!! 』(MOAMETAL ver.) | Moabanger ♥ [4K]

    – Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! [Momo-metal] (Live at LEGEND MM 20 Night)
(take extreme care to avoid the video with the title saying "compilation"!!!!! It is crap. Go to "The Fox God" channel, please!)

If you choose to react to other BABYMETAL songs, I´m fine, roo 😁 But remember: live BABYMETAL is best BABYMETAL 😉

  8. Yes and they do this since 15 years, this year. Their Manager invented this genre for the japanese music market. But he had no idea that it could work internationally. It was mainly their Master Label Amuse that wanted a small Promotion Tour through Europe. They rented a small side Stage for 3,000 people, but the Management of Sonicsphere had realized that they already had a Music Video that went viral, and when they realized that Metallica was busy writing a review about them they knew we want them on the main Stage. Koba did not expect anything but the girls said, we take it. And so they suddenly stood in front of 45.000 british Metalheads. Butbthey realized, the people tried to follow thir Songs. They only did know japanese and the audience only english, but their music crossed the language barrier. Koba thought this would be impossible. But today they book Arena Tours through Europe, have Capitolnas their music Label and left the Kawai description in the dust. And they Collab with a huge amount of Bands. They have learned that their singing tones every Song down. Withoutbloosing its metal appeal, they worked with Electric Callboy, Poppy and Slaughter to prevail.

  9. And Headbanger got a special meaning for them there is a special version where the girl was not 15 but 20 and when Moa turned 20 (the age of maturity in Japan) and for Momo they used the last night of her 20th yearof where they got to Sing the last
Part of Headbanger and they can Sing, without Su, they would be pressured to Sing. These Versions are known as Moabanger and Momobanger.
