[SUB] 요즘 뜨는 서울 핫플, 서순라길 편💌 | 서울 데이트 코스 | 걷기 좋고 볼거리도 가득한 서울 여행
Hi everyone! Today,
I’m going to enjoy another day of exploring Seoul. Right now, I’m at Jongno 3-ga Station. Seosulla-gil has been trending on
social media so I wanted to visit. When I searched about it, it was between Anguk station and Jongno 3-ga Station In Korea, there are many beautiful themed streets like Gyeongnidan-gil and Songridan-gil and it’s my first time visiting Seosulla-gil! After walking straight from the station, there is a Seosulla-gil sign! And when you look over here, it seems that on weekends the street is closed off to the cars, kind of like Ginza in Tokyo! So if you come on a weekend, you’ll be able to enjoy it more comfortably 🙂 When I first started living in Korea, I really loved the neighborhood of Samcheong-dong because it felt so authentically Korean. So I went there a lot, but now that I’ve discovered this place, I’m happy that there’s even more to explore ❤️ I heard that walking through here only takes about 10 minutes, but honestly there’s so much to see that 10 minutes isn’t nearly enough 😆 The hanok-style atmosphere is so beautiful ❤️ Since you can also sit outside on the terraces, it feels like a perfect place to spend a relaxed moment. I envy the office workers here Every after lunch time, they are able to walk around this kind of beautiful street. Oh! I think I’ve seen this shop before.
Let’s check out Slow & Lit! 📍slow & lit It has such a cute and cozy vibe, filled with adorable little items. And then I burst out laughing when I discovered something called a companion stone! but in person, they’re actually really pretty you know? Prettier and more unique than I thought! – So what do you do with it? Give it water?
– Haha, no, you just tell it it’s pretty. Hmm.. I don’t quite get the concept yet, – It’s like having a friend!
– You can even talk to it, eat with it… And you know, at my place in Japan, pets aren’t allowed,
but no one ever said you can’t have a companion stone So maybe that’s fine! Do you like any stones here? Yes, this one, it’s smooth and shiny,
and I feel like the texture would be good too. I just want to pet it. But then I thought… what if I’m eating next to it and say,
‘Is it tasty?’ Wouldn’t that be creepy? Imagine it haha Also I think this one is hard to decorate. It’s slippery so I like it but when I put anything on it, it’ll be dropped. After thinking it over, I finally decided on this guy.😁 – I gave him a name! Rotti!
– Does it mean something? Not really, I just thought of the name when I saw its face. It feels kind of foreign and cute at the same time. Let’s talk a lot from now on, okay, Rotti? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ And there’s one more thing I really wanted to do here! It’s drawing, I guess this shop must be famous! They call it acorn caricature, and the cool part is… they finish in just one minute 📍acorn caricature Will it be hard to draw? How will my face turn out? (Nervous… full of tension 😅)
I’m getting nervous for no reason… – Feels awkward, right?
– You can just relax / Yup! You are too nervous haha
It’s both exciting and nerve-racking at the same time… Drum roll… Ta-da! Wow! They drew it so well! I’m glad my nervous look didn’t show in the drawing 😂 What do you think, does it look like me? It only took a moment, but they captured all the right points and made it really pretty. I’m so happy with how it turned out!❤️ On a day like this, sitting at an open terrace with a cup of coffee is just perfect. I love that cozy vibe, and I’m definitely going to stop by a café later. As I walked around, I also snapped
some film photos here and there. This neighborhood is full of cute cats 😽 and though the alleys are narrow, there’s so much to see. I stopped by a shop called Jjuak Jjuak, which is known for its gaeseong juak (a modern take on traditional Korean rice cakes). I think it’s a traditional Korean snack.
It looked too good not to try! They have so many different kinds and all look like a piece of art! Truly beautiful! The most popular item was already sold out…
it must be really good! They even update the best-seller list in real time. So of course, I had to try the top three! 1st place = Jeongeup Black Sesame
2nd place = Miryang Mugwort & Red Bean
3rd place = Daegwallyeong Handmade Red Bean I packed all three and let’s try them right away! How could I eat this? The outside is harder than I thought I thought it’s soft but it’s coated. I started with the black sesame, the #1 menu. It’s delicious! – It’s your first time to try, right?
– Yeah! Is this black sesame?
– It’s black Sesame! I thought there is nuts inside because of nutty smell, But I think it’s black sesame’s nutty smell…! It’s a perfect match! Next, I tried the Daegwallyeong Handmade Red Bean (#3) It looked a lot like ang butter (bread with red bean and butter), and does it taste pretty similar too?! I couldn’t believe I hadn’t known about this before It felt like the best parts of a donut and tteok (rice cake) combined. Exactly! I just had one bite
and the taste is how Mina described it! – It’s really tasty!
– And finally, the 2nd place: Mugwort & Red Bean. Since mugwort is commonly used in Korea,
they turned it into a cream filling here. Did you hear that crunch? The crispy bite was amazing. It’s a little tricky to eat, but if you get both flavors in one bite, that’s when it’s the best. So which one was your favorite? It’s so hard to choose but just looking at them, I thought I would like the red bean one the most because I like ang butter But honestly, I can’t forget the shocking flavor of the black sesame. So my winner is… the black sesame juak!
(It was seriously delicious!) We walked over toward Ikseon-dong, and since it’s only about a 5-minute walk, you can easily explore it together with Seosulla-gil! This area already feels like a hotspot for international visitors, and there are so many tourists and plenty to see,
so it’s really fun. And suddenly… a game challenge!
We’re going to try a shooting game! It’s been a long time since I last tried this,
but I’ll do my best to win! If I win, does that mean I get to eat as much as I want? Ah, you mean coffee?
Sure, drink as much as you like!
But I’m definitely going to win anyway! – Wow lol
– Where does that confidence come from? 📍IKSEON Shooting Club So, do you think you can beat me? I think I’ve got this! I’ll give it my best! Fighting! Game starts! But wow…
The staff here is really good.
(Look at that score climbing!) Still, I can’t just lose like this. Time to focus! Last shot… oh, is it over?
Final score: 130 points—I win! Too bad I missed the 10-point target, that was tough. – But wow, you were so focused
– I went into full concentration mode. That was fun! Since I won the game and I’m in a good mood,
shall we go grab a coffee? This is Solbangul Bakery! 📍solbangul bakery It’s a small and cozy space,
and the terrace seats here are really pretty. There are even pine trees around,
so I guess pinecones might fall here. The quiet interior also has such a nice atmosphere… Since I won the game earlier,
I should get my reward now, right?! Time for dessert! Bread and coffee will be perfect. Everything we ordered is here!
First floor of this cafe is pretty and.. there’s even a small garden so I feel like I’m in a Korean drama~* I was craving coffee~ ka~ Let’s try with bread too?! Wow~ when you look inside, it looks like this. Cutting into it felt more like slicing a rice cake than bread! Uhmm, Mugwort smells strong!
I think naturally I like the mugwort smell In Japan, we usually have mugwort in rice cakes, But in Korea, they make cream and sell it all in different ways so if you like mugwort like me, then I recommend it here! I did a lot more things than I expected. the caricature I got and the pet rock I bought at Slow & Lit! It’s my Rotti! We are going to eat together~
Even just now we are eating together! Rotti, how was today? But that’s not all! Something else was calling me…!
(It’s the keyring I picked up at Otwig shop) Putting them together just makes me so happy. I should definitely capture this moment in a photo! Let’s try hanging the keyring on my bag It goes with any bag, I think. A lot of Japanese visitors probably come to Korea and usually go to the major tourist spots. But this area, I think not many people know about it. It’s fun to just stroll over from Jongno
and discover new things along the way. You’ll definitely find plenty of surprises. Time to finally dig in and enjoy! And I also tried on a scarf that one of the staff bought,
and it turned out to be exactly the style I’ve been looking for…! We spent the rest of the time having so much fun together 😊 So today we explored Seosulla-gil! It was even more charming than I imagined a perfect place to take a slow walk or enjoy a date. It was even more charming than I imagined a perfect place to take a slow walk or enjoy a date. Japanese viewers, how did you like today’s Seosulla-gil video? This area is one of the hottest spots in Korea right now. And since Bukchon and Ikseon-dong are nearby, you’ll have an even better trip if you visit them all together! That’s it for today’s video! Take a look at the pictures I took today before you go!
