砂漠の日本庭園巡り🌵 | フェニックスのフレンドシップガーデンからのデザインインスピレーション

Hey guys, welcome to the Mr. Maple Show. I’m Matt. We’re here at the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix. Full disclosure, no Japanese maples in here, but I think you guys are going to love some of the unique Japanese design elements in this garden. Really cool. Come on in. Let’s check it out. Guys, I love Japanese gardening. I love uh just everything about it. Now, I did encourage the gardeners to grow some Japanese maples cuz they can here. A little tricky. They’ll definitely need some protection, but uh an amazing garden. I want to get this on here to give you some design elements, uh, some different aspects of Japanese gardening. Kind of maybe hopefully inspire you to use some of these architectural designs in your own garden. Absolutely love this style and, uh, it’s so relaxing. Hot day out in Phoenix, Arizona, so we had to get to some shade. Uh, beautiful garden. A lot of people out enjoying some green space. Uh, but yeah, just an amazing uh, view of this place. I really loved how they use water and different element designs here in this garden. So hopefully uh yeah, a little inspiration here. Some really cool plants that we highlight. We’ll go around. There’s some different water lilies. I really like some lily pads that were really cool. Uh we really didn’t talk a lot about the plants though, guys. More about the overall element of the garden and the design of it. So I hope you enjoy this day. Uh kind of walking around the friendship gardens here in Phoenix, Arizona. Really fun. And uh check it out. See if you get any inspiration for your own garden from this. I’m going to get out of the way and let the garden do the speaking on this one. again. Absolutely love this place. If you’re in the Phoenix, Arizona area, definitely check it out. [Music] [Music] Thank you. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Oh my god. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Hello. [Music] Okay. [Music] [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] It’s pretty nice. [Music] itself. But it was [Music] Um, I don’t if I can flag down the gardeners, I’ll ask them. It’s a harsh that they’re always talking about it. It’s definitely a high heat index. So guys, I hope you enjoyed this view of the Friendship Japanese Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona. Uh just really a nice time. I enjoyed getting into some shade. It’s I think it was 114 in Phoenix today. Uh so it was really hot out there. We did go in the morning so it wasn’t quite as hot. Just an amazing place and just so much attention to detail used here. Really beautiful and uh hopefully you can use some of these own design elements in your own garden. I love viewing Japanese gardens and this was a really nice one in a hotter climate. So pretty awesome to see there. Did get into the gift shop. They had my favorite Japanese coffee there. I had some Boss coffee which these little cans are pretty cool. So you don’t see that one a lot in the United States. They have Tommy Lee Jones as the the the boss mascot over there in Japan. They have these commercials where Boss is the boss of them all. So cool little gift shop there with some different elements of Japan in it. Uh but yeah, good coffee, good times. Had a great time walking around the garden. 1. I imagine the 115° temps they get in Phoenix would make it challenging to grow Japanese Maples there! lol. In San Diego they do have them in their JFG, and they do sometimes struggle there, but they are capable of growing there without that intense heat.
