Foreigner here. I cant believe this series has another season.
The manga was from 2015, only recently ended in 2023. The English version started from 2019 to 2024. And in 2025, it has anime adaptation, 2 seasons as well. A 8-year journey and a 10-year for the adaptation. It is just unbelievable.
I readed it in 2019, and loved the original manga to dead. It has this anxious feeling, while manage to change all the cliches that it could. Cant really figure what would happen next in the series. The character is beautiful, and the mysterious vibe is even better. Kinda sad that the mysterious vibe cant be done as the original manga, probably because the anime needs color, unlike manga, and the story has also ended. Narumi-sensei is just so good at drawing manga, and her art always makes me worry as hell LOL.
That being said, I still freaking love this anime. Even though it seems to have low budget compare to other series, Staple Entertainment and the whole team still managed to get this series to its highest quality. The art is just amazing. The whole voice cast are amazing and fit for the characters. The BGM is extremely nice and deliver the vibes.
And what is even more insane is gonna have to be the OP and ED. I swear, not many anime that can make me instantly fall in love with the OP and ED the moment I hear it for the first time. And this anime managed to do it. Even twice in a row!!! This PV here is literally the example. It is just so catchy. Not to mention the animation in the OP and ED as well!!! It is so cute, so fit, so amazing.
That being said, I think they want to reach the ending with 2 seasons. There are so many awesome things I want to point out in this series as well, but I may spoil the series and ruin it. Hopefully that the whole team can still deliver the best quality!!! Also hope that they can have enough money to live, because I have seen so many news about animators not get enough payment, from a long time ago, to even recent years. In general, I wish everyone involving in making anime can live well, and have enough health to make even more awesome anime!!!
P/s: Staple Entertainment, please do more adaptation from ancient times please. You guys are G.O.A.T (Greatest of all times) in handling anime with low budget. You guys deserve more budget. Feels like there are so many studio struggle with money, and so many series from the old time deserve to get an adaptation.
