A high-end nubia tablet will be released in Japan. The device is called the nuvia Pad Pro. The differences between it and the company’s gaming brand, REDMAGIC, are compared to the high-end REDMAGIC Astra, released in July . It’s scheduled for release on September 9, 2025. The official store is not open at the time of this video’s creation. According to information, the price starts about 474.83 dollars. For reference, the Astra’s original price was about 597.28 dollars. It features a 10.9-inch TFT LCD display with 2.8K resolution. The glass material is not specified. It has a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. It measures 253.34 wide and 164.56 high. It’s 7.3mm thin and weighs 523g. It uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU. The memory and storage configuration is as shown. It does not support external storage. It has a 13-megapixel main camera and a 20-megapixel front camera. It has a 10,100mAh battery with up to 66W fast charging. There’s no indication of waterproof/dustproof rating. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth versions are 5.4 (Wi-Fi-only model). The OS is Android 15. Other features include no fingerprint authentication. Smart-PA BOX Sperker (DTS:X Ultra certified) and VC cooling. No headphone jack. No physical fan. Available in black only. The device introduced here is a semi-high-end tablet. CPU: Antutu scores of 1.7 million to 2 million. While the upper limit is high-end, it is a high-end CPU from a generation ago. Still, it is an excellent CPU for a gaming tablet . The Astra uses the latest CPU, scores over 3 million in benchmarks, and offers better performance than its price, including screen quality and cooling performance. When compared, this device’s high performance is further emphasized. This device also excels in terms of audio and cooling. While cameras tend to be low-resolution in tablets, this device’s pixel count is higher, making it a surprising strength. Conversely, its weakness is the display quality. It feels heavier than the lightweight Astra . Finally. This is a feature used in REDMAGIC devices that allows you to charge the battery directly from the device itself.
