第579回は、2025年に開催から20回目を迎える世界最大級のアニソンライブイベント、「Animelo Summer Live (アニサマ)」よりANISAMA FRIENDSが初登場。
ANISAMA FRIENDSはアニサマ20年の歴史を彩ってきた、angela、オーイシマサヨシ、奥井雅美、TrySail、 FLOWが参加した今回のために作られた特別ユニット。
彼らが今回カバーするのは、アニメ『デジモンアドベンチャー』オープニングテーマ主題歌である、和田光司「Butter-Fly」。

This time, they will cover Koji Wada’s “Butter-Fly,” the opening theme to the anime series Digimon Adventure.

Even here in the US, Digimon fans love Butter-fly. It is my favorite song of all time, and it is such a shame that a singer as legendary as Koji Wada has passed. I wish I could've seen him live one day, and unfortunately that will never happen. Today also happens to be the 26th anniversary of Digimon Adventure in the west. Coincidence or not, thank you for posting this today. Thank you for singing this amazing song.
