I often heard people say, “This feels like Hannam-dong!” So I’m really happy to finally be here in the real Hannam-dong! I’ve heard this area is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Seoul. Maybe that’s why it’s always been such a popular spot—both in the past and still today! Hello, Japanese Mint friends! Today, I’m here in Hannam-dong! This neighborhood is located between Hangangjin Station

“Jekyll & Hyde”! “This is the moment~” This musical is actually my No.1 must-watch in Korea. so just hearing that it’s playing here… honestly, I’m touched 🥹 But I’m not here for a show today… First things first, let’s grab a bite to eat! Hannam-dong, in my opinion,
is a neighborhood full of hills! Every time I visit, there’s a new alley or hidden gem popping up in these narrow streets. Whenever my Japanese friends say, “I’m going to Seoul—any recommendations?” Hannam-dong is always my No.1 pick! Hannam-dong is always my No.1 pick! Q. Why do you recommend Hannam-dong?
A. There are so many unique shops and cafés all in one area,

but I’m a total burger lover, and I think I’ve pretty much
tried all the famous burger spots in Japan. But for me, Downtowner is number one in Seoul. Just looking at it makes me happy Burger No.1 = The Avocado Burger
It’s packed with various ingredients, so it’s heavy and I like it. And look at those colors! So vibrant! Let’s dig in, yum! Ahhh, as expected, it’s so good! I think the most important part of a gourmet burger is the sauce and cheese,

it kind of reminds me of a caprese salad. I wonder what it’ll taste like all together, let’s try it! Hmm… What kind of flavor is this? Whoa, it’s totally basil-forward! The basil smell hits you first, so the flavor feels completely different and really refreshing! (They say this one has mozzarella cheese in it!)

Hmm… I’m not sure what I’d pick next time… Well, let’s try them all first, then decide! Burger No.3 = The Downtown Burger I always go for the avocado burger so I was curious how this one would taste without it. But maybe simpler is better? Mmm, this one tastes like the classic burger
flavor that everyone loves! It’s super clean and balanced,
which actually makes it even tastier. It’s like the textbook definition of a great burger. Right?! Honestly, this is what I’d order next time. It’s so satisfying and delicious! Totally unexpected, right? I’m even surprised! We were all kind of shocked by the result We also tried the chicken fries for the first time, and I feel like they’re perfect when you’re with a group. What will the chicken + fries combo taste like? Hmm?! It’s spicier than I thought!
Is that chili powder sprinkled on top? Yeah, it definitely has a kick!
But I think the sauce is what really makes it. I feel like good burger places
always nail the sauces. So good, right?! I even got to eat my favorite—sweet potato fries and it was such a fun and delicious lunch with the staff! Personally, I think it’s super fun! You walked a lot today, aren’t you tired? When we explored Seongsu,
