大阪万博にぼっちで潜入してみたら、さすがに物価が高すぎて…

Hey there, it’s Yuuka! Right now, I’m at Yumeshima Station. I’ve made my way to Expo 2025 in Osaka today! A lot of people are here for work or business stuff, but I just came because I was super curious! So I bought my own ticket, all on my own dime. Which means today’s review is totally honest— no sponsorship, no sugarcoating! Alright, let’s head from Yumeshima Station to the expo venue! It’s a weekday, but still, there are way more people here than I expected! Activating full-on tourist mode 👀 If you go up the escalator and turn left, you’ll find the East Gate of the expo. Whoa, look at all those flags from around the world! *Apparently there are flags from 167 participating countries, regions, and organizations. I got a ticket for the 11:00 AM entry slot, so I’ll hang out by the gate for a little while. *It was only 10:45, but they let us in 15 minutes early—score! I’m in! Is that the famous Big Roof Ring I always see? Let’s go check it out! So what exactly *is* Expo 2025 Osaka? It’s like a global gathering of countries and companies to show off future tech and culture—basically a giant showcase. Think of it like a world-class cultural festival! The 2025 theme is “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” Pretty cool, huh? So this is the mascot called Myaku-Myaku, apparently. It’s… kind of cute? …Maybe? *It was designed to be… unforgettable. *It’s Myaku-Myaku meets full-on sightseeing mode. Here it is—the legendary Big Roof Ring! It’s actually the largest wooden structure in the world and it’s got a Guinness World Record to prove it! They used traditional wooden joinery with modern engineering to build it. Apparently the view from above is amazing, so I’m definitely gonna check that out later. Here’s what it looks like underneath the Big Roof Ring. I wanna show you the top, but filming it turns into an epic low angle shot 😂 It’s seriously awesome. Can’t believe it’s all made of wood! So surreal. They say it smells like hinoki cypress too. *…Pretty sure that’s just my imagination. Expo 2025 has all kinds of booths— They’re officially called “pavilions,” by the way. There’s the USA Pavilion, the France Pavilion, and so many others. But they’re all super popular, so I entered the lottery ahead of time… and didn’t win anything. At all. The only ones I *did* get into were the Australia Pavilion and the Thailand Pavilion. So I’ll be checking those out later! *Spotted a yummy-looking crepe stand! I grabbed a crepe. It cost me 8 bucks. But honestly… it’s kinda small. Let’s dig in! One choco-banana crepe for $8… Talk about an “expensive a-peel”! 🍌 Today I’ll also be tracking how much money I end up spending at the expo. Alright, time to head up to the top of the Big Roof Ring! I braved the long line to get up here. Whoa, that view from above! It’s already gorgeous. If you keep going this way, you can walk the whole loop. Apparently it’s 2 kilometers all the way around! It stretches all the way over there. Great for walking, honestly. And the views are amazing too. From up here, you can probably figure out where everything is. Strolling along the Big Roof Ring, soaking in the sights, and planning where to go next—it’s a vibe. Ooh! Germany! I’ve been wanting to check out the Germany Pavilion! Looks like this line is for the exhibits, and that one’s for the restaurant. When you think Germany, you think beer, right? So I’m hopping in the restaurant line! They said the wait for the German restaurant is an hour… Yeah, no way I’m waiting that long. Guess I’ll have to skip the beer today… Heartbroken. *?!? Wait… hold on… this isn’t what it looks like! Everyone around me was drinking beer and… I just couldn’t resist, okay? So good. There’s something written in German on here, I wonder what it means? “Please drink even more!” Well, if you insist. *When in doubt, just make up a translation. My sausage plate has arrived! Wait, isn’t this like… mostly potatoes? Still, it looks super tasty. Let’s eat! They told me it was a 1-hour wait for the restaurant, but it really wasn’t that bad— I got in after about 15 minutes. By the way, this sausage plate cost $16, and the beer was $8 for 300ml. Prices are a bit on the high side. But the flavor? Totally authentic. This Hofbräu lager I’m sipping, and the Berlin-style currywurst— I seriously feel like I took a quick trip to Germany. So when you think about it, maybe it’s actually a pretty good deal! The food was just as good as what you’d find in Germany, and both my stomach and my soul are totally satisfied. And here it is—the legendary $1.3 million toilet! Uh… it’s kinda out in the open—hope that’s okay? That side looks like it’s for women, maybe? Honestly, it’s kinda hard to tell which side is which. Okay, I think this one’s the women’s restroom. Should I check it out? Oh right… I don’t actually need to go. This one’s under maintenance, apparently. Looks like this is where you wash your hands. This thing looks like it’s gonna splash *everywhere*. And here’s how it works—like this! A little later, I finally made it to the Australia Pavilion, one of the few I actually won in the lottery! Finally—my first pavilion! *You get in by scanning the QR code on your ticket. Wow, it already feels super Australian in here. At the Australia Pavilion, you can check out real Aussie culture and nature! This is amazing. It even smells like eucalyptus! Not “Yuukarin,” eucalyptus. 😆 There’s a koala—it’s adorable! Koala! This is a traditional Aboriginal art tree, apparently. They’ve been carving trees like this for ages—it’s an old practice. It feels super spacious in here… Turns out that’s a mirror! Totally got tricked and almost walked right into it. They’ve even got projection mapping on the ceiling— it’s seriously intense. There’s this vast natural landscape on display—so cool. Looks like it’s the Great Barrier Reef! I know video doesn’t do it justice, but— the ceiling and walls are completely wrapped in screens, and it honestly felt like I was on some futuristic ride headed straight to Australia! That was my first time entering a pavilion exhibit, and it was absolutely amazing. The visuals were so intense! But it ended way too fast. It really felt like I was actually in Australia— the scents, the forest vibes… everything was so well recreated. I also had fun spotting all the animals hidden around the place! The final video was shown across screens scattered all over the room, and the 3D effect was super immersive— I loved it! Whoa, the roof is made of stone! Kinda scary—feels like it might fall on me. *Apparently it’s meant to provide shade. A full-size Gundam statue, standing about 17 meters tall! Here’s a free water refill station. I brought my own bottle— gonna fill it up here. It’s automatic! Wait… when does this thing stop? *It stops automatically when you pull the bottle away. Bottled water was kinda pricey, so having free refill stations like this is honestly super helpful and thoughtful. There’s also a vending machine nearby, and the prices weren’t too bad, to be honest. But they don’t take cash. You have to pay using tap-to-pay cards, e-money, or QR code payment. So just keep that in mind! Wow, you can actually climb up that slope! Looks like so much fun. Well, I’m not a kid, so I’ll pass. *?! After walking a bit, I made it to the food court area! The expo is seriously huge, so if you’re directionally challenged like me, you’ll get lost in seconds. I think downloading Google Maps offline in advance is super helpful for getting around. Here’s a look at the prices. Feels a bit pricey, to be honest. It kinda reminded me of airport food prices. That’s Kishimojin from the Aomori Nebuta Festival! Looks awesome. I found Ekisoba, so I had to get it! Last time I rode the West Express Ginga, I saw Ekisoba in Himeji, but I didn’t try it then. So seeing it again today felt like fate—I had to buy it! But it cost me 26 bucks! That’s insanely expensive. Is it really worth that much? Let’s find out—time to dig in! It doesn’t feel like soba… It’s more like ramen, honestly. But the meat is Kobe beef! So this has *got* to be delicious. So good~ (humming) This beef is insanely good. If I think of it as paying for high-quality meat, well… it’s still a bit pricey, but I kinda get it. They also had other menu items, like shrimp tempura ekisoba for around $8. Yeah, it’s a little expensive, but the flavor is seriously good. If people visiting from overseas can experience Kobe beef and tasty Japanese food here, then honestly, I think it’s totally worth it. Now that I’m nice and full, I’ve made my way to the Empowering Lives Zone— specifically, the flying car station! So this is the flying car, apparently. But if you look closely… yeah, that’s just a helicopter. My ride. 😎 *Maybe someday we’ll all say that. Oh look, it’s JAL! So this is how it’s supposed to fly. Next up: the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion! That spiral staircase is meant to represent DNA. There’s something called a “reborn experience” over there, where you can see what your face will look like in 25 years! But I didn’t win the lottery for that… so I can’t try it out. Still, they let you look inside, so I’m gonna go take a peek! Here we’ve got a cardiac sheet made from iPS cells. You can see it pulsing like this—so cool. That’s incredible. *The explanations are in plain words—very beginner-friendly. Oh, there’s a phone! It’s called “The Phone That Hears the World.” Hmm, who should I call? Maybe I’ll ring up an alien. #720 Hello? Hi there! I’m Yuuka too! Wait, really…? If you’re not subscribed to my channel… we might just beam you up to space! 🚀 *So yeah, consider this your warning! I went to the Osaka Expo! Got to see pavilions from all over the world, and tried so much yummy food— it was such a blast! I read that the entry line could take over an hour, and the exit line too, apparently! So I planned with plenty of extra time just in case, but it actually went super smoothly. There were definitely a lot of people, but I didn’t have to wait much at all—lucky me! I really wanted to visit even more pavilions from other countries too… but most of them were lottery-based and I didn’t get picked. Definitely want to try again and get a second chance! Oh, and FYI—nowhere accepts cash here, so you’ll need cards, QR payments, stuff like that. Make sure you come prepared! Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Thanks so much for watching all the way to the end today! If you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe! Bye-bye!
