Keiko Nakayama is a Japanese actress, singer, and television personality. In 1975, she appeared with her father, actor Akio Satake, on the Fuji TV program “All-Star Family Singing Contest” and was scouted as a result. From 1980 to 1982, she was a member of the Sun Music Production talent agency.
Nakayama recorded and released the Japanese version of the theme song for the Japan Herald Film distribution of “Benji” titled “Soyokaze no Benji” (CBS SONY), which was later released on CD in 2000. She has made numerous appearances on television and radio, and has released many records, CDs, LDs, and videos.
She has also performed many theme songs and commercial jingles, and has participated in recordings for other artists, as well as performed with orchestras. Nakayama is active as a singer and also works as a television show host, reader, and actress, appearing in various symposiums and programs.
