  2. A work of art. Visually and musically enthralling and deeply emotional and satisfying. Incredible talent, production, choreography, filming and editing. Not much could be better than this.

  3. I'm obsessed with this one now, Imaginary friend, "when there is monsters on your ceiling I'll keep you safe and you will keep dreaming" wow, it has two ways first when people faces issues in sleeping due to some x,y,z issues which cause deep impact on their life, they think of all good things they believe in god, jesus, someone who can keep them safe, because those scars or "monsters on your ceiling' we can't tell everyone about their problems, yeah especially with ending was wow, girl become more stronger than ever.

  4. My Analysis of this video's theme: "Imaginary Friend" is a story of fragmentation, escape from a world of pain, which is often the only avenue of flight for a suffering woman who is being or has been abused. The "imaginary friend" is the fragmented other personas in the video. We start off with one woman who has an injury and is bleeding, literally a painful life. You then have different women (the members of ITZY) each with a different colored hair (that is, each one is a different personality that the abused woman escapes into). That is why the choreography is slow like a dream and each woman is attached to the other — look at the clasped interlocked arms and hands — like a shattered mirror fragmented in a Picasso painting (or the mirror scenes in Bruce Lee's kung fu movie, I believe Enter the Dragon, where it's impossible to tell who the real Bruce Lee is). Notice all of the mirrors and the leitmotiv lyrics of the ITZY women singing in ONE voice "Who am I?", that is, which self can I escape into — which "Imaginary Friend" — can save me from my life of suffering? Notice the lyric is "Who am I?" in the singular case, not "Who are WE?" So though we see all of the ITZY members in the video, the person who is the subject of the video is a single person who life has forced into fragmentation. It's really a sad song about a woman's suffering, and human suffering in general, and the desperate flight but only means escape psychosis brings to a sufferer. This is my own analysis of this video.
