Natsuho Murata : Award Ceremony & Gala Concert in Alma-Würth-Hall, Künzelsau-Gaisbach, 31/08/2024
Natsuho Murata ( 17, Japan ) won the 1st place in Age Group 2 ( 15 up to 18 years olds) to recieve 4 Award of 1st Prize and 3 Special Prizes at the Aaward Ceremony of the 20th International Violin Competition in Schöntal Monastery (Kloster Schöntal), which took place at the Alma Würth Hall in Künzelsau-Gaisbach, Germany on Saturday, 31th August 2024.
In her first appearance:
・ First Prize, €2,500, presented by ebm-papst Mulfingen GmbH & Co. KG.
・ Petru Munteanu Prize, €500, which is awarded to the first place performer in each
Age Group, donated by Irina Munteanu and Prof. Axel Strauß.
This Prize is named after Prof. Petru Munteanu (1940.06.26-2023.11.17), the founder of
this competition, who passed away last November.
・ GEWA Air Luthier Formetui (@gewastringsofficial) is awarded by Mr. Schneewind of the
manufacturer and distributor of violin cases.
In her second appearance:
・Reinhold Würth Sponsorship Prize, €5000, which is designed to give the young musician
an opportunity to develop her exceptional talent further over the next few years.
This Prize was presented by Ms.Würth, a granddaughter of Mr. Reinhold Würth ( born on
20 April 935 , age 89 ), Chairman of Adolf Würth Group
