This work depicts the daily life of Doraemon, a cat-like robot from the 22nd century, and Nobita, an elementary school student who is not good at studying or sports.
Ms.Nobuyo Oyama, who was the voice of Doraemon for about 26 years from 1979 to 2005, passed away last month.
I played its theme song “Doraemon no uta”（The Song Of Doraemon）”. It was once sung by the Vienna Boys’ Choir, and when I heard it sung, I was impressed by its beauty. It is usually sung cheerfully and happily, but I tried to perform it in a gentle, fairy-tale-like atmosphere,in memory of her recalling the beautiful singing of the Vienna Boys’ Choir. .
