Dogo Onsen, Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture 2 nights and 3 days Enjoy delicious food that can only be eaten here!! Hello, this is Nagare. Well, this time, I was filming a video about going on a solo trip to Matsuyama and Dogo Onsen , but suddenly there was some trouble with the plane, so the original departure time was 5:25 p.m. The flight has been changed to a 40-minute departure, but I’m worried that I’ll be a little late arriving at the hotel. The weather was really bad that day, and the plane was shaking a lot, so it felt really bad . , I arrived at Matsuyama Airport with all sorts of things going on. There are all kinds of characters, and it’s like what I’m seeing right now. It’s quite colorful, and there’s even a character like this holding a mandarin orange. I wanted to see more, but I was worried that the bus might leave early due to the flight delay , so I hurriedly got on the bus.It was an Iyotetsu bus, so I decided to take it . When I arrived, it was raining heavily, but when I looked at the cityscape, I saw a lot of trams running around. It seemed like the main way to get around in Matsuyama, Ehime was by trams. This is the main road. Okay, so I got off at the bus stop called “Okaido.” I had booked a hotel near this Ōkaido , so I headed there. It’s amazing, isn’t it? It’s like a foreign city, and the roads are wide. Well, there are many luxurious places with Starbucks and hotels. Each building is tall and has a very glamorous feel. The hotel I will be staying at this time is called Daiwa Roynet Hotel Matsuyama. When I entered the entrance, there was a restaurant next to it, so it didn’t look like a hotel, but the reception was on the second floor, and there were quite a few foreigners heading there . This cat is really nice! I asked for a Mikan ballpoint pen stand , so I went through the registration process and headed to my room. This time, my room was room 509, right after getting off the elevator. So, what kind of room is this? I’m really looking forward to it, but it’s really a simple business hotel with just a futon and a desk , and the bath is like this too.The bathtub and shower are very simple, but the bathtub is quite spacious. I stayed for two nights, and on both days I took a bath and went back to Okaido.I had dinner reservations from here , so I thought I’d head there. It ‘s called Okaido, after all. It’s a wide road, isn’t it? Just how wide is the road ? The road is quite wide at this point , after all, as streetcars pass through it , so the road is quite wide. So, this is the shopping district. The streets are very wide and it was very easy to walk around. The first day’s meal I went to a restaurant called “Hanano” for dinner on the first day. Hanano, no, ni, the hiragana “n” is written as “kanon”, but the store only has a counter, and the entrance is a bit narrow, so this is the shrimp that sticks out . Also, it’s mekabu, salmon roe , and mako simmered. Mako looks like a cod roe. There’s a lot of alcohol on the menu, too. I was having a hard time deciding which one to drink. First , I ordered a Master’s Dream.First of all, to quench my thirst, I rushed out for a glass of Master’s Dream beer. This is delicious.I decided to get the thrust from Mako. You can really feel the bubbles of each grain. The soup was soaked in the soup stock and it was delicious , and the mekabu and mekabu were also delicious. The green color and thickness of the mekabu matched the salmon roe, so I think this would definitely go well with sake. Although the shrimp were small, I felt it was quite luxurious with the head attached . It was delicious. The dashi stock was strong, so whatever I ate would go well with sake or Japanese sake.Next was the sashimi, which was shrimp, yellowtail, flounder, and tuna. , I changed to sake here and it’s Matsuyama Mitsui. I ordered this. This is a sake from Matsuyama in Ehime… There is an alcohol called “Mitsui Kotobuki,” but that one is from Fukuoka, so it seems like it’s from a different place. This one is also delicious. It’s spicy, though . It had a fruity taste to it, which I really liked.Well , since I’m going to have the sashimi, I had to start with white fish. The chef explained to me that the flounder that day was really huge . I was able to get a lot of flavor from it , and it was really delicious.I thought that if the size was large, the taste would be quite strong, but this one was completely different. It was super delicious, the shrimp was condensed , it was sweet, and it was amazing. Even the miso was sweet! It’s a luxury item. Alcohol definitely goes with it.The yellowtail was delicious.I like yellowtail, and I love yellowtail and amberjack. It was delicious. The next item was the grilled black-throat fish. You can see it when you look at it. Surprisingly, it doesn’t feel like it’s well-broiled, but rather like it’s a bit half-cooked.I used to think that the more you broil Nodoguro, the better it tastes, but this way it feels a little chewy. Is it okay? That’s what I was thinking for a moment, but I was like, this is so delicious that it makes me laugh. It’s already melty. You could say there’s a sweetness behind the sweetness. I’ve been to Kanazawa, too, and when I think of Kanazawa, I think people have the impression that black-throated blackthroat is a specialty , but to be honest, it was even better than Kanazawa, so it was a bit of a shock to think, “Oh, I can eat such delicious black-throated blackthroat in Matsuyama.” I caught the big flounder I mentioned earlier, and I’m cooking it up. Well, it also has eggs in it.I don’t know how well this can be conveyed in the video, but it looks really delicious. The meat is really amazing. It’s really delicious. The flavor of the soy sauce and burdock root is really good. Well, it’s really delicious, and the texture is so thick that I do n’t know what else to say. It’s like chicken, but that’s about it. It’s already very filling , and the eggs are soaked in flavor, so it’s insanely delicious. It feels like it ‘s warming you up and wrapping you up in the rain. Next , there was something called “steamed buckwheat noodles”, but I didn’t know what it was.I asked, “What is it?” and I was told that it contained buckwheat noodles. I thought the soba noodles would be hard, but they weren’t hard at all.It was really easy to eat.It was almost like ochazuke. The soy sauce and dashi soup were very gentle on the stomach, and I couldn’t drink alcohol. It felt like it was soothing for a tired liver , and I still have it, and this is lobster tempura. You can tell just by looking at it, too.It ‘s already plump, meaty, and luxurious. The asparagus is a bit I ‘ll set it aside and enjoy it later.Wow , this looks like a food sample of some kind , and I noticed that it was supposed to be sprinkled with matcha salt , so I took a quick look at it and thought it might be hard, but I gave it a try. Did you hear the sound ? It’s crispy. It’s ridiculously thick, but it’s soft. The spiny lobster is really soft, and the asparagus is also soft and delicious. Personally, I think spiny lobster is best raw , boiled, or tempura. It was sea bream rice and miso soup with spiny lobster. The owner was also very friendly, and we talked about a lot of things. He asked me, “What kind of camera do you use?” By the way, the owner seems to have a hobby of drones, so he had a camera with him. You said you were really interested in this, and this is a miso soup made with spiny lobster, and it has the whole spiny lobster shell in it, so it’s so delicious that I almost wonder if it’s made from the same material as the tempura from earlier. It was delicious on a different level , and the miso soup also had yuzu in it, so it was very refreshing and delicious. This was the sea bream rice. There was a lot of sea bream in it.It looked really delicious.I had a firm rice bowl. I like rice, and the consistency was quite good. There are two types of taimeshi, Matsuyama taimeshi and Uwajima taimeshi, but I don’t know if it contains eggs or not. Apparently it’s different, but I think this was Matsuyama Taimeshi, and it was delicious. This is called Mineoka tofu, and it’s said to have black sugar syrup on it , so the tofu itself had quite a sweetness to it, so it was delicious. It wasn’t as sweet as almond tofu. It was really tofu, but it was a little sweet. It was just the right amount of sweetness, perfect for dessert. It was delicious. Let’s go back to the hotel. , I was full , so I went to bed for the day.Okay , so it’s the second day.I’m already going to start stretching in the morning. So let’s go to Dogo Onsen that day, so I’m going to take the tram. There is a tram that goes directly to Dogo Onsen from Okaido, so I decided to get on the tram.Unfortunately, it was raining that day.You can also use Suica and IC cards, so it’s very convenient. Yes, the tram is extremely convenient. No matter where you go, the train will leave soon, so it’s easy to get around. So, I arrived at Rōgo Onsen Station. Dogo Onsen is also there, and the roads are wide. The view is really good and it feels good. There is an arcade that leads to the hot springs, so I headed from here. This is the arcade that leads to Dogo Onsen. It’s a hot spring town. There are also souvenirs and other local items here. There’s a lot of things to choose from . There’s also local sake made in Dogo. There was something like Ryoma Sakamoto’s potato chips at the bottom, but Ryoma Sakamoto is from Kochi, right? I felt that the area was a bit of a mess, but this lady was kneading the soap that she sells at her store. It was kind of interesting. Finally , we arrived at Dogo Onsen, and Dogo… It’s a hot spring, but it’s currently being renovated so you can’t really see inside, but the entrance is at the back, so I’m exploring the surrounding area a bit. There ‘s also a footbath cafe. This is by Natsume Soseki. Maybe? There is also a raccoon dog next to it , so it goes all the way around Dogo Onsen, and this is the entrance, but it feels like there are two entrances. I came in from the other side , so what is this? I didn’t know much about it, so I went inside for a while, so I wasn’t able to take a video, but this is a normal room where His Majesty the Emperor takes a break when he comes to Dogo Onsen. I can’t take a bath with the general public, so I chose this place. It’s apparently used as a private room , so it’s quite complex, with lots of underground access. That ‘s great. The room has been designed in an interesting way . If you’re interested, please come and see it. The most important thing is the hot springs. Can I take a bath here? Ah, that’s right, so I ‘d like you to take a bath from 1:00 p.m. , so I’ll be taking a bath in about an hour. There was already a waiting list , so I got a numbered ticket , and… Since I wanted to kill some time , I decided to have lunch first and went to a nearby place called “Dogo Beer Museum”. Let’s have a beer before taking a bath! I decided to go for it.The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice.It was old-fashioned, or rather, it felt like a female staff member would serve you the beer you ordered. When I looked at the menu, I found that it was Uwajima’s sea bream rice. You can eat a variety of local specialties like Jakokatsu, fried oysters, etc., and there’s beer too. There are so many different kinds that I really couldn’t decide which one to go for.Botchan beer, Soseki beer, etc. For various reasons , I realized once again that this is a place that is associated with Natsume Soseki.I quite like bitter beer, so I decided to order this “After-bath IPA”. It is said to have a strong bitterness and a gorgeous aroma. So I guess this is it for the time being. This IPA after hot water was delicious. This is it.The coaster has a Dogo mark like this on it.Is this the mark? The round one is called “yutama”, and it looks like the Dogo Onsen symbol. It ‘s an IPA after bathing, but it has a strong bitterness, which I really like.It ‘s rich, but it’s light and easy to drink . It felt like it had a refreshing taste that went down your throat and into your stomach, and the aftertaste was delicious.Next , I decided to try some Japanese sake, so I ordered this one called “Tsuridori.’ ‘ Alcohol: 17% This is quite expensive than normal.I was wondering what it was like, but it was so refreshing and delicious that even people who don’t like Japanese sake could drink it . It was expensive , so I thought it must have been a bad drink.I ordered the taimeshi. It ‘s Uwajima-style, and it comes with a raw egg.We also filmed a scene in which the yolk was added . I forgot to press the record button, so it suddenly starts with the food already in there, but it ‘s supposed to be eaten by mixing the egg yolk with the sea bream, so I’ve added some soy sauce here . As you can see, the sea bream is fresh.Just looking at it reminds me of this and makes me hungry. The sea bream is fresh and crunchy. It really has the best texture, and the raw eggs and soy sauce go perfectly with it. I really felt like I could eat as much as I wanted. This is sea bream soup.It ‘s made from the bones of the sea bream, so it’s kind of like soup, but the sea bream soup comes out well. This was also very warm. Next up is “Soseki Beer.” Natsume Soseki’s “Soseki” is really black. This is Soseki beer. It’s a dark beer.It has a strong bitter taste.I like bitter things. This is Jakoten. It ‘s more like tempura than I imagined. It ‘s eaten with tartare or sole.I was wondering what to do with it. But first, I decided to start with the sauce. Did you hear this? It’s crispy! It was even more delicious than I expected. There’s no way this wouldn’t go well with beer! So good! The roasted malt didn’t have an unpleasant bitter taste, but it had a refreshing taste , just like roasted coffee beans. It was really delicious.Next time, I decided to try it with tartar. And this is also delicious, is the tartar homemade? The flavor of the eggs was strong and it was really delicious. Well, I’ve only had two sips of Soseki Beer, so I’ve been drinking it in no time. It goes so well with the food , well, it’s just 1 sip. It was about time, so I decided to pay the bill, so I left here and the rain had just stopped, so the weather was nice , and people with numbered tickets from 1pm were lining up . Yes, it’s a line for people with numbered tickets. It seems like new people are lining up separately. This is Dogo Onsen. As I said earlier, it’s being renovated and there isn’t much space. Right now, the area where you can enter is extremely small. It seems like you can only enter a small area. Well, there are actually many baths inside Dogo Onsen, but there is only one of them, and it is currently no longer possible to enter. Well , apparently the reason for handing out numbered tickets was that there was a limit on the number of people in the bath.Of course, photography is not allowed inside the bath, so I’ll just give you my impressions . Well, to be honest, it wasn’t quite what I expected. The space to enter was very small, so I wanted to experience the feeling of being in a hot spring a little more.As it was crowded with people, it was renovated in July. It seems like the construction work is going to be finished, so I thought it would be ok to go there after that.I heard that there is mandarin orange juice coming out of the faucet here , so I thought it would be interesting, so I decided to try it out. At the cash register, I think this cup cost 400 yen. I often say, “You can buy it here and try it yourself.” I think it’s probably featured on Kenmin Show or something like that. When you think of Ehime, you think of tangerines, and the tangerine juice comes out of the faucet. I think it ‘s often said on TV , but you can’t really know what it tastes like until you try it, so I ‘d like to taste it a little before you all . It’s sour and delicious, but no, it’s almost like Pon juice.I felt like this was really Pon juice , but it was delicious, but since I had taken a hot spring bath, I thought it was time to go home, so I headed back to the station. When I arrived , I looked around the station and realized that it was actually right in front of the station. If you exit the station and go to the left, there is a hot spring town, but if you go straight ahead without entering the hot spring town. There was actually a footbath at this place.I didn’t go in, but if you do, I think it’s a good idea to bring a towel with you . It’s almost time, so I feel like it’s time to move to another place. I haven’t been in the hot springs much, so I guess I’ve only been in the hot springs for about 15 minutes. That’s about it, so I lingered a bit . I didn’t feel like I could do it, but it was really small, so if you go to Dogo Onsen, I recommend that you wait for the renovations to be completed in July and then go next time. This is the Iyotetsu train, and it’s amazing. You see , Ehime is a town full of mandarin oranges , with all the buses and trains colored orange. After leaving Dogo Onsen, I returned to the main road and was wondering where to go next . There’s a Kumo Museum there, so I decided to go there. It ‘s also on the main road, right next to the hotel , so it’s quite a tourist spot. Are there a lot of people around the main road? I did a lot of research as well. I didn’t do it, but I feel like it’s easier to go to a lot of places if it’s around the main road. The Sakanoue no Kumo Museum is located there. There ‘s a building called Mansuiso , and it’s on the way there. There is a museum on the slope, Mansuiso , which has been recognized as an important cultural property of the country , and you can also tour it . Mansuiso was there from the beginning, and the Sakanoue Kumo Museum was built on its premises. It seems like something like that, so I decided to go to Mansuiso first. The rain had stopped, and the scenery was already looking great. It looked like this Western-style building on top of the cat. This building is Mansuiso, and I thought it would look better, but there was a place to go next to it, so I thought I couldn’t see it from here, so I climbed up a little, and lo and behold, here it is. It was this Go board.Does anyone enjoy playing Go? Well, I don’t have anyone to play with right now, so I didn’t play this one, but if you two go together, please play Go. I think it would be nice to have some fun.It looked pretty nice from here.Mansuiso was there, and then there was Atago-tei, where Natsume Soseki was said to have lodged. This is Mansuiso. Until I go there, it seems like it’s being used as a cafe now.I think it was called Soseki Cafe, but unfortunately I decided not to drink coffee in the afternoon. Well , it’s because of the effects of caffeine that I can’t sleep at night , so I didn’t drink it, but my purpose was Mansuiso, so it’s an amazing building . It’s a French-style Western-style building built in the Taisho era . It’s a designated cultural property, so I decided to take a look around. At the entrance, there are a lot of pamphlets and signs, so it’s a bit of a mess, but if you have a smartphone with you, that’s fine. Apparently , you can listen to the audio guidance on your smartphone. Unfortunately, I didn’t listen to it this time , but when you enter here, there is a receptionist on the left and you have to pay the fee. The structure is open to the public, and the inside is a designated cultural property of the country, which is amazing. It’s still in its original shape. It was built in the Taisho era. It’s amazing that it’s actually a thing that was once re-created, and maybe it’s being revived in some way… There are also pamphlets of Rakugo like this, and all kinds of books, sketchbooks, and art. There were a lot of artworks and things.I looked all over the first floor, so I decided to move to the second floor. This staircase is amazing . I climbed the cat, but is it really okay to climb with shoes on? It’s rare to have the opportunity to step on a carpet like this with your shoes on, so it was incredibly fluffy. I felt like I was doing something wrong. There was also stained glass in the front, making it look like a castle. I feel like I’ve become a dream and reality are completely different, but the portrait displayed here is that of Emperor Showa. Hmm , he has a fearless face. He seems intelligent . There’s also a portrait of Emperor Showa. In the next room, there are various pieces of history about Mansuiso. It ‘s also the setting for a movie , so it seems like there’s a lot of history engraved on it. Here is a model of Mansuiso. It looks like it has a 360 degree view. This is the table where His Majesty the Emperor had breakfast in this room when he stayed there. That’s right. No , I was a little too scared to mention it. Breakfast is also taken at such a magnificent place. This is Natsume Soseki and Masaoka Shiki. Did they live together? Well, I don’t really know much about this history. There wasn’t one, so I just looked at it and thought, “Huh?” But when I looked inside, I saw that this was Natsume Soseki, or was he writing a novel? It seems like he was having a lot of trouble thinking about it , but he must have been serializing it in various newspapers at the time, so I think he must have been racking his brain a lot as he wrote it.So , I looked at the second floor as well, so I went to Mansuiso. This is about the extent of what you can see, but the building is really impressive, and the construction technology is amazing. The handrails here and there are also made of wood, and it feels really nice to the touch. It was smooth and nice. That ‘s it for the tour. I think the tour fee was 300 yen per person for an adult, so it wasn’t that expensive. If you can see this much, I think it’s pretty good. There’s a rickshaw, but it’s supposed to be in a way that you can’t move it. I haven’t touched it, but I guess that means you can ride it. Time is time, so it’s time to visit the Kumo Museum on the Hill. I decided to go there. It’s just a stone’s throw away from Mansuiso. I also bought a ticket to see it. It costs 400 yen per adult , and I heard that photography is not allowed inside the museum. That’s about it for the video , but apparently there’s a rule that says it’s okay to not show buildings , so I’ll just show you a little bit of what’s inside. This is amazing. There’s no bottom, there’s a floor. It looks like a staircase with no stairs, or something like this.It was built by Tadao Ando. One of its characteristics is that the interior of the building was made with great care , and there is a corner where you can take photos. There was also a model, so I thought I’d like to show a little bit of this. It’s a model , and the past senior vassals were gathered. This is also a model, and this is also a model of a warship. You can show the model. It seems like they don’t want the other materials to be leaked after all. You can clearly see Mansuiso from here, too. The scenery is beautiful. It’s really the stairs from earlier. There was no floor. This staircase is called an aerial staircase. It looks like a normal staircase from up here, but when you look at it from below, it’s quite spectacular. I wonder if it’s really a staircase created by the architect Tadao Ando. There is also a route that allows you to go down these stairs without using them.It is wheelchair accessible and barrier-free, so there is also a route that does not use stairs at all . If you still have strong legs, you should definitely give this aerial staircase a try.Yes , we’re back on the main road again. From here we’ll have dinner. It feels like we’ll finally be able to enjoy the meal we’ve been looking forward to. is not it It would be no exaggeration to say that the reason I came to Matsuyama this time was because I wanted to go here, and that is Tanita. This place is famous for its okoze. Neokose , it’s at the top. There are a lot of other delicious-looking menu items, so I want to go there soon. It has an old-fashioned feel, and it’s really good. It’s sticking out, but what is this? I don’t know if the burdock and something was a little like a kinpei dressing, but it was really delicious.I don’t know what it was, but by the way, the chopstick rest was a dragon. It was cool. For the first drink, I ordered a lemon sour.Once I had a little , I quenched my throat. Well, I like to drink sake and then move on to other alcoholic beverages. If I go to sake after the first drink, I get pretty tired , so it’s delicious, and there’s a lot of sake on the menu as well. I was really worried about what I should drink, and everything about the food looked delicious.I was really worried about what I should eat.I think I was thinking about it for about 10 minutes after I came in.I guess I could eat it all. That ‘s not to say that it takes a lot of time to carefully select what you want to eat , so since I drank the lemon sour quickly, I decided to drink the Junmai from “You’ll Understand It When You Talk” for the second glass. This is “mandarin orange”, and it is a yellowtail that has been raised by feeding mandarin oranges, so it is cultured, but due to the effect of this mandarin orange, there is no odor. By feeding this mandarin orange , the fat is removed and the smell disappears. So, if you ask me if it’s good , my honest opinion is that I don’t really understand it. Of course, it’s easy to eat because it removes the smell, but it’s the true goodness of yellowtail. That smell has disappeared, so even if you eat it, it doesn’t really taste like it.It ‘s like enjoying the texture. It looks like yellowtail, but it’s like a light white fish. It goes well with alcohol , but this is sea cucumber vinegar. You can’t see the sea cucumber at all , but when you scoop it up, it’s really big. I wonder if sea cucumber vinegar was this big? It’s a bit scary, but if you eat it a little, this is soft as you can see, but the center is quite hard. They were very friendly and talked to me.I thought it was a very friendly restaurant. We talk about sea cucumbers, and we always drink sake. It’s easy to drink, and it’s dry and refreshing, but it hits your tongue and throat well. It has a lingering feeling , it’s not too dry, it’s not too fruity, and you can really drink it on its own. When you come to Tanita, it’s okoze, which is actually a thin version of dekono okoze! This is a work of art. It’s so beautiful. I added some green onions and seasonings first, and it looks delicious. I took a quick look at this, and it looks like blowfish. It’s so delicious. Now that I remember it, I ‘m hungry again. Let’s eat it. Here you go, take one , add some ponzu sauce , and enjoy! As for the taste, it’s a white fish, so it’s quite bland. It ‘s not like the umami of the fish is condensed, but rather it’s surprisingly easy to eat.The same goes for blowfish, too.It has a strong flavor. It’s lighter and more filling, and it’s delicious. It goes well with sake . It’s a truly blissful moment . This stonefish also comes with parboiled shank skin and liver. The skin is really thick and has a delicious texture , and the liver, in contrast to the thinner version, has a strong flavor and is really delicious. It goes well with alcohol . I’m surprised, it’s delicious! Ah, it’s delicious! This is so delicious! It was so shocking that I shook my head. The owner advised me that it would be delicious if you put the liver on top of the Usuzukuri, so I gave it a try. No, that’s right. When you put liver on a usuzukuri, the taste changes a bit. You should follow the advice of people who are used to eating it regularly. It also goes great with alcohol . I ran out of alcohol, so I was wondering what to do next… It’s a little hard to see, but there was a limited edition sake called "Kawagame".This is it.I decided to serve it.Also , alcohol. I want to drink it with alcohol, so I keep the kozze carefully.I keep it because I believe that this must be eaten with alcohol. No , this is also delicious, and I definitely recommend it. Well, next up is Jakoten. Well, this is Jakoten. Yesterday, I came across a Jakoten that has strong tempura elements, but this is the Jakoten that I know. Lemon . I like jako- ten with plenty of jako- ten. It’s delicious. It’s crunchy , has a crunchy texture , and has a great flavor. It really enhances the drinking experience. It’s good to have a combination like this. They go well together and bring out the flavors without interfering with each other. This is the backbone of the stonefish. If you ask for a thin plate of stonefish, this will come with it. It’s grilled eel. I don’t know how much I’m going to eat, but since I came all the way, I’ve eaten a lot. Now, let’s have the backbone of the stonefish. It’s so crispy! I had the impression that stonefish was somehow poisonous, but I was surprised to find that I could eat all of it like this. It wasn’t just bone crackers, it was a little bit bitter, but it was perfectly lightly fried. It increased my appetite even more. So that ‘s the grilled eel.The one in the foreground is the eggplant dengaku.I also had the eggplant dengaku, but I forgot to take a proper photo of it, so I won’t go into it here. This is the grilled eel.It ‘s crispy. The skin of the eel is seared, even though the meat is sticky. However, it’s not too strong, and the charred skin and umami of the shank just fall right into your stomach. It was very delicious. This is the miso soup with okoze. It ‘s a full course dish.It ‘s made thinly. It’s amazing that even though I just ordered it, it came out so well.It ‘s a miso soup with okoze, but it’s full of flavor and it’s really delicious. They say they use barley miso. This miso soup has a sweetness, so it’s delicious. As for stonefish, as I said earlier, only the dorsal fin is poisonous, so you can eat everything except the dorsal fin. I’ve never seen a full course meal like this anywhere else. It was really great. I thought I might have eaten a little too much, but the bill was 14,000 yen . It was a fair price. I was relieved that I didn’t go as much as I had expected. I’ve eaten my fill and I think I should go back to the hotel, but I don’t think I’ve had enough to drink, so I decided to buy some alcohol at a convenience store and head home.As expected of Ehime, I’m not from Ehime anymore. There was alcohol on display.I feel like it used to be in convenience stores all over the country, but I don’t see it that often anymore , so I think it’s only available in Ehime . It wasn’t sour at all, and it had a really “mandarin” taste. It was a really easy-to-drink mandarin liquor. The alcohol content wasn’t that high either. Now, it ‘s the morning of the third day. Today, I ‘m going to see Matsuyama Castle, so I’m heading out from Okaido. In fact, Matsuyama Castle is actually close to Okaido , so it’s really easy to get to many places on Okaido.Let ‘s have lunch first. So, this is "Kadoya", Mr. Hanare, I came here for a moment. It looks like a chain store, but it seems to be a major set meal restaurant in Ehime. It ‘s already lunch time, Kadoya main store. There’s so much that there’s a line out there. There ‘s Uwajima Tai Meshi, and there’s also Satsuma Meshi , and Kamadage Shirasu Don.There ‘s a lot of variety on the menu.I’ve eaten a lot of Tai Meshi, so I’ll go with the Satsuma Meshi. I decided to make red and white minced meat, which had konnyaku threads on the bottom. It was eaten with fish cake fried soy sauce and grated daikon. It was said to be shark.I guess it was boiled shark. This was the fish soup with condiments . I put barley rice from the ohitsu into the bowl with green onions and mandarin oranges.I entered the store at the same time it opened, and it was 11 o’clock, so there were no other customers except me. So, the other person was silently narrating and eating while the camera was rolling , so this is it. Honestly, I thought the satsuma soup would be something similar to yam tororo because it was served with green onions and mandarin oranges , but it actually looks like yam . It’s not like it’s liquid, or as you can see when you look at it, it ‘s not like it’s runny.I’m going to eat it, but when I first ate it, I was a little surprised. It ‘s sweet, so what’s inside? It seems like barley miso is the main ingredient, but it’s a mixture of various things.Ehime people eat a lot of barley miso on a daily basis, so barley miso is mostly served as a garnish with rice, so this is it. From what I heard from other people, it seems that many Ehime people are a little chubby. This is because they eat only barley miso on a regular basis, so it’s quite sweet, and barley miso is… Please be careful of your body.It ‘s just delicious. This shark is boiled, isn’t it ?It was really delicious. The texture was crunchy, and it was really delicious. After the meal, I also had coffee, although it was an additional charge.I wanted to drink coffee after the meal, so I pulled myself together and headed towards Matsuyama Castle. It seems there is a ropeway . We have arrived at the ropeway station. From here we are heading towards Matsuyama Castle. If you are brave, try the face-fitting panel. First, we will purchase a ticket. I am wondering if it will be a round trip ticket or a one-way ticket. I decided to go one way.If I was tired on the way back, I could take the ropeway and go back.If I wasn’t that tired , I thought I’d enjoy the route down the mountain. When I arrived at the ropeway stop, it was already a little bit. It looks like there’s a line. It seems like it runs regularly , so I don’t think it’s that hard to get on at this point. All the people in line at the time were able to ride . Well , it took about 3 minutes to finish the ropeway , and apart from the ropeway, there is also a lift like this, isn’t it scary? I think the people riding this are amazing, but I’m too scared to ride.It came close to seeing Matsuyama Castle. After all, a castle should be able to overlook the entire city. I couldn’t go there, so it’s on the top of a mountain, and I had to go to Matsuyama Castle as well.I went up the ropeway like this , and I also climbed a lot of hills along the way, and it was around the end of March, so the plum blossoms were in full bloom. Since we climbed the ropeway, I thought we were pretty close to the main castle, but there’s still a lot to climb from here. Matsuyama Castle is quite deep, so you’ll have to move around quite a bit to get there. So, we finally came to a place that looked like a plaza.Once we got to this point, it was just a stone’s throw away. You could call it a castle town, but it feels like it’s high enough that you can see the scenery below. This was on the face panel earlier, is it Aki-kun? It’s located right in front of Matsuyama Castle, so I bought a ticket here and headed towards the main enclosure. Now that I’ve got the ticket, I’m heading towards the main enclosure of Matsuyama Castle.Matsuyama Castle. The entrance is so spacious that I was a bit confused as to where to enter, but this is actually the place. It feels like it’s a secret loophole. It says "anagura" and this is apparently the first underground floor of the castle, so it looks like you enter from here and climb up higher and higher. This is where you change your footwear. The big box on the right already has a miscellaneous pair of shin slippers, so I take two out of there and change to these.I put the shoes I was originally wearing in the shoe box.Now I can finally go to Matsuyama Castle. You can go to see the inside of Matsuyama Castle, but I talked about climbing up the stairs, but it’s really steep.Actually , even I can barely climb it by myself, so it’s pretty steep. I think it would be quite difficult for children to go up there, but adults would have a hard time climbing up because it was so narrow and the stairs were so steep. There were various exhibits here, such as swords. The entire inside of the castle has quite a few historical items on display, including armor and other items.Next is the second floor, but it’s really steep up there. People coming up and people coming down both use these stairs, so when the person above you is coming down, you have to give in and say, “Oh, please go ahead” and go up and down . This is the castle tower. The view from the castle tower is a panoramic view of Matsuyama, which is very wonderful. You can see the cityscape of Matsuyama and the sea on the other side. And when you go down from the castle, there are souvenirs at the entrance. I decided to go to the shop. There, I found a soft serve ice cream called Iyokan Soft, so I asked if I could try it. I scooped it up from the jelly and ate it, and it was really delicious. I guess it contains Iyokan peel, so it has a sour taste, and what’s more, the sweetness of this jelly, and the sourness and sweetness go together so well that it feels fresh and refreshing, and it’s super delicious. However, I decided to stop by a souvenir shop. This is Matsuyama, Ehime, and it’s amazing. It’s full of tangerine goods. As far as I can see, what color are they? If you ask me, it’s already orange. That’s what it looks like. This one is Madeleine. The other one is Mican. This seems to have become quite popular as Ehime’s loose mascot. There are also various souvenir goods. After all , it seems like Mican is already everywhere.Nemican goods are probably selling quite well.I don’t really understand this, but hey, what kind of character is this? It’s a local place, and it was set up like this.I went down the mountain from Matsuyama Castle. In fact, I went down the mountain on foot from Matsuyama Castle, but I would definitely not recommend it.It was extremely difficult , so I went down the mountain from Matsuyama Castle. Since I had descended from the mountain, I decided to have a drink, so I decided to stop by here for a while because they had some tangerine beer. This is a shop between the main road and the ropeway. There were quite a few souvenir shops, so I recommend buying a variety of things between the main road and the ropeway, so I think it was a pretty good decision to buy souvenirs after climbing Matsuyama Sho. This is actually a mandarin orange shop. They have a variety of drinks and other things on the menu. It’s like a cafe, but among them, you can find this mandarin beer and mandarin highball. There are a lot of things like that. There is also a trial set of three kinds of mandarin beer.I think there are many different varieties.I decided to order the mandarin beer separately. It was amazing. The color is completely orange now.The mandarin orange. I was wondering what the beer tasted like, but it really tastes like mandarin oranges. It has a strong taste of mandarin oranges, and it also has a slight bitterness of beer mixed in.If I were to say whether it was sweet or bitter, It feels like it’s completely on the sweet side. That’s not to say it’s not like it’s seasoned strangely , but it’s a natural flavor. It looks like it’s been squeezed by hand , and on the way to the ropeway. I decided to buy some souvenirs at a place called the Ehime Tourist and Product Center. On the way to the ropeway, I took a quick look around, and it seemed like this place had the most variety of souvenirs. For example, these tangerine gummies. This is the tangerine ballpoint pen stand that was in the hotel earlier, and it’s on sale. Also , there are a lot of souvenirs here, like tangerine juice . There’s also tangerine rice ball base. I thought it was okay , but I was a little reluctant to mix mandarin oranges and rice , so I didn’t buy it.Also , there’s something like mandarin udon noodles.Actually, I bought this . I thought it looked interesting, and the other one is Matsuyama’s famous Ichiroku tart. This is Botchan Mochi, which is a local food.It ‘s a famous confectionery. The other one is "Shiki," which is the name of Masaoka Shiki. It seems that there are many kinds of sweets such as Ichiroku Tart, strawberry flavor, and since it was March this time, cherry blossom flavor. It seems that new flavors come out depending on the season, so why not choose cherry blossom flavor? I thought it would be nice and picked it up, but since I don’t really eat sweets, I thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to buy a box of it, so I decided to buy it separately since they also sell single items like this. I had a cherry blossom tart and a chestnut tart.I thought these looked really delicious, so I bought them as well. When I tried them, they weren’t too sweet. They were really delicious. Also, I bought a baby mother Megumi. This sweet called Megumi Megumi is quite famous.I wonder if this is a sweet from Ehime? I actually ate this, and it was really delicious. To be honest, I wish I had bought more Megumi Mamoru.I really recommend it.The other one is Goshiki somen. This is also a specialty of Ehime, so I bought that as well.It was delicious. There are also a variety of things on sale like Nejakoten bars and Jakochikuwa, which are not made from living things but are pouch-type items that last for quite a while. Well, to be honest, I thought it would probably taste better raw, but it seems like it lasts a long time, so I thought I’d buy some, so I bought it.To be honest, I think it tastes better raw . After purchasing this much, I decided to go get my luggage that I had left at the hotel since I had already done all the things I had to do.There was already a bus going directly to the airport, so I got on it. I’m heading to the airport. Well, my 2 nights and 3 days in Matsuyama seemed long, but it was really short. It went by so quickly and it was so much fun. Now, it’s my first time at the airport in 2 days. It was raining at the airport on the first day. I couldn’t see it at all because the bus was leaving soon, so I was just observing a lot of things. There was something like this, too.It ‘s amazing , like a tangerine champagne tower. It ‘s not real either, so it’s probably orange. I think it’s just pouring water into colored glasses , but it’s amazing. So there’s a souvenir shop at the airport , so I decided to buy some more . Iyo citrus jelly, Amanatsu I guess Ehime can get a lot of citrus fruits , not just mandarin oranges, so I guess there are a lot of famous sweets like this. Also, there are tarts and such.I thought tarts like this are really expensive. Apparently it actually contains chestnuts soaked in brandy. There’s also mandarin orange rice, but it’s definitely a combination of mandarin oranges and rice. As the package says, it’s probably something like that. I don’t know what it is, like the sea bream rice crackers. Also, there are a lot of Mican goods.I’m starting to think that Nemikyan is really cute.I just want one of those goods.Ehime I wonder if it’s in a similar position to Kumamon. This is the biology corner. There’s Jakoten, and there’s chikuwa, agemaki, and all sorts of other things. They all look delicious. They all go well with drinks. That’s what I thought, but I’m still worried about whether or not I’ll have to limit my purchases , so I decided to buy Jakoten first , and then I bought this kamaboko with octopus and shiso. It ‘s absolutely delicious. Well, I love octopus, and I like drinking alcohol, too.And I also like jakochikuwa. After all, octopus and chikuwa. I feel like this type of kneaded food is something you can’t miss in Matsuyama, Ehime , so when I went up to the second floor after shopping, there were souvenirs on the second floor, too ! After looking at it, I thought I should have bought the bottom one, but I bought everything on the first floor. But on the second floor, there was this Pon Juice rice cake that was only available on the second floor, so I decided to buy it. So, I already bought it.Well , it was quite sweet.I guess it would be good as a gift, but I wouldn’t buy it myself. Also, there are many kinds of fresh foods like this, so I didn’t buy any of them. It looked delicious.Maybe it would have been better to buy it on the second floor instead of the first floor. So I bought this whole dried squid. It was really delicious. It was really delicious.I recommend it.Alcohol It was so great that I could eat as much as I wanted, so it was hard to resist. Also , there was this food court.Wow , Mican was there again.I wanted to go into the food court, but it was quite full of customers. I wasn’t able to get in, so I came out without eating. So how was your solo trip to Matsuyama, Ehime for 2 nights and 3 days? Thank you very much for staying with me for such a long time.In the future, I would like to upload videos as consistently as possible. To that end, if you think this video was good, please continue to upload videos, I will support you.
