[SUB] 푸바오가 도착한 바로 그 곳..?! 판다 천국 청두 | Trip Diary in 청두 2편 | 판다기지, 훠궈, 동교기억, 춘시루, 아르떼뮤지엄

(Today is second episode of the Chengdu trip) Hello guys, I’m going to enjoy the Chengdu trip more today I think I introduced Cheongdu’s history from episode 1 and, in episode 2, I will introduce tourist spots (I arrived at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding) When you hear Cheongdu, the panda is very famous! It’s been a long time since I saw the pandas so I’m excited to see them Let’s go faster because the weather is very nice I heard the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is very huge and you can tell seeing the map I heard the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is very huge and you can tell seeing the map I heard there are 3 Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the Cheongdu The pandas in China are special. As expected, China operates three panda bases. The place we are visiting now is the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which is a panda base located near the city. It’s very spacious and not like a zoo, (so I wonder if we will see any pandas today?!) I’ve heard that sometimes the pandas can be far away or hidden, but I think that’s fine. The pandas need to be happy, after all. Maybe we will get to see them in their natural state. There is also a chance we might not see any if we’re unlucky, haha. That’s the situation. When you think of pandas in Korea, ‘Fu Bao’ was really popular, right? (Princess Fu…) I watched a lot of videos of her through social media while I was in Japan. But there are also pandas in Japan, similar to a panda like Fu Bao There were giant pandas in Japan named Ei Mei, Mei Mei, and You Hin. There are statues made to commemorate them and their offspring. I came to a place like a museum with information about pandas They’re taller than me, haha. And since pandas prefer cooler places, I heard they spend a lot of time indoors when it’s hot. (The average temperature in Chengdu from May to September is over 26 degrees.) When I came to Chengdu, I found it much hotter than I expected. It’s hotter than in Japan and Korea, which was a bit surprising. I thought pandas would be okay with hot weather, but it turns out they prefer cool weather. When it’s really hot, they stay indoors with air conditioning. A gym just for pandas?! They even have weights used for weightlifting, haha In Nepali, "nigalya ponya" means a friend who eats bamboo. That’s why the red panda, although not a bear, has the name "panda" because it eats bamboo! I didn’t know that either! Oh? Can we see the pandas now? Today, we will be able to see the pandas, guys~ They’re closer than I thought! Wow, they are so adorable~ No, really, the pandas are comfortably eating bamboo from quite a close distance. We can even vividly hear the sound of them eating..! In the wild, pandas can live up to about 18 years, and in human years, that would be around 30 years old. This one is said to be a bit older, but it’s so lovable that it doesn’t look that old?! (Hua Hua: The most popular panda in China) This is said to be Hua Hua’s father, who is currently very popular. He’s the father of a big star~ It looks like he’s playing~ There’s dirt on his bottom. At the panda base, each panda is provided with about 250 square meters of land. It seems they can live happily without stress. Wow, so charismatic~ The father is full of charisma, haha. I heard pandas have six fingers! They have one more finger than we do! With that, they peel the bamboo and eat the soft inner part. This is panda heaven~~ I feel like I need to buy something~ After some consideration, I decided on a panda doll! Isn’t it so cuteㅠㅠ? Ta-da~~ Everyone, I now have two panda friends~~ There were products with just one panda and ones with two pandas together, but I think one panda looks nicer, haha. There were products with just one panda and ones with two pandas together, but I think one panda looks nicer, haha. ❤️Panda eating show with two pandas❤️ Pandas don’t have very good eyesight, so they use their sense of smell to find food. So, in dangerous situations, they rely on their sense of smell to escape and also find food.. A shot with both pandas~ I want to go eat too~ haha There are about 160 types of bamboo, but only about 40 types are edible for pandas. However, pandas have specific types of bamboo they prefer, and since those types are fewer in number, it’s hard for pandas to survive in the wild. That’s why it’s difficult for many pandas to live together at the same time. (Panda sniffing!) (As explained earlier) You can see them sniffing around. You can tell their sense of smell is more developed than their vision. When they are babies, a panda’s tail is about one-third the length of its body. So, I was curious why their tails seem to get shorter as they grow up, but it turns out they don’t actually get shorter. Adult pandas have tails that are about 12 cm long, but their bodies are so big that the tails appear almost nonexistent. So, when drawing baby pandas, make sure to draw long tails, haha. I got a stamp of certification after the visit! The panda base was huge and magnificent! We saw a lot of pandas~ but now we have to leave~ It was so much fun that I think I could stay here all day, and I’m glad I had such a special experience. So, shall we move on to the next place? *Donggyo Memory This space, which has been transformed into a sanctuary for artists from an abandoned industrial area due to urbanization, offers a variety of cultural and artistic experiences, including musicals, concerts, street performances, and exhibitions. I’ve come to a place called Donggyo Memory. I heard this is a hot spot in Chengdu, and it seems to be full of young vibes. I’m excited. In the first part, I definitely explored historical culture, but here the atmosphere is different, and Chengdu definitely has various charms. I heard this place was created by renovating an old factory. In Korea, there’s Seongsu-dong, and in Japan, there’s Kiyosumi-Shirakawa with a similar feel. It’s really fascinating how each country has such places~ Guys, we are here to see the Arte exhibition. We went to see TeamLab in Japan, and this place seems beautiful too, so I’m looking forward to it. STAR – Raindrops Raindrops falling under the eaves and the sound of wind spreading through the scenery. Walking through the raindrops that fall as if dancing freely. The raindrops soon stop, and a beautiful rainbow-colored landscape unfolds. FLOWER – Cosmos Cosmos flowers, symbolizing harmony and the universe, meet the wind and are reborn with new life. The petals touched by the wind transform into vibrant colors and grow vigorously. The endless cycle created by the cosmos and the wind creates a new yet orderly universe. LIVE SKETCHBOOK – Bamboo Forest A mysterious and enchanting bamboo forest, thick with mist in the deep mountains. Mysterious life forms, colored by your touch, awaken one by one and embark on a fantastic adventure. BEACH – Cloud A fantastic beach created by various clouds. The beautiful clouds, imbued with light, constantly change shapes and add brilliant colors, offering a view of an endlessly expansive and mystical beach. SUN Embrace the sunlight filled with intense energy with your whole body. As you slowly enter the sun, searching for the origin of light, you gain the energy of life and a sense of rejuvenation. Guys, we have seen it all~ I was surprised by the diverse art, and the space was so large that I was busy taking photos and videos, haha. I really enjoyed the unique media art that can only be seen here. It was a lot of fun~ I got hungry while looking around. Sichuan is famous for hot pot, right? I heard this place is known for hot pot, so I’m going to try it out~ I’m excited~ You might be surprised to know, but I actually really like hot pot and have a favorite spot in Japan. However, the place I visit in Japan makes it less spicy to suit the Japanese palate, However, the place I visit in Japan makes it less spicy to suit the Japanese palate, (Tasting the original flavor in the hot pot!) but here, shall we say, it’s the authentic flavor right? I’ve heard the spices are strong, so I’m half excited, half worried. There’s a famous drink in Chengdu called "Wei Yi." I’ve heard it’s a soymilk-like drink with peanuts and walnuts. It’s like how we sometimes drink yogurt when eating spicy food, so it seems this helps reduce the spiciness while eating hot pot. Hot pot is divided into Beijing style and Sichuan style in China. Beijing-style hot pot uses lamb, and Sichuan-style hot pot originated from meat sellers using unsold innards and special cuts of meat, boiling them in spicy soup. and Sichuan-style hot pot originated from meat sellers using unsold innards and special cuts of meat, boiling them in spicy soup. and Sichuan-style hot pot originated from meat sellers using unsold innards and special cuts of meat, boiling them in spicy soup. You can feel the history and meaning of the dish. We could also watch a face-changing performance right in front of us! The masks change in the blink of an eye…! The masks changing non-stop before my eyes were so fascinating! The taste of mala was familiar yet different! As expected from the home of hot pot..! I enjoyed it very much, haha. Guys, do you see how lively it is? We have come to a bustling area called ‘Chunxi Road.’ This is a place where many young people come to shop, and it feels like Myeong-dong~ It’s so bright and flashy! I’ll show you around~ Wow, there are so many people and brands that you can’t see in Japan or Korea, and you can get a glimpse of Chinese trends here. It feels a bit like Times Square in China. In Japan, it would be like Shibuya~ Donggyo Memory Street had a lot of hip, Y2K-style clothing stores, but this place seems to have a variety of genres~ I heard Chengdu is a popular travel destination even for people within China, and I can see why! (I recommend Chengdu as your first travel destination!) If it’s your first time traveling to China, starting with Chengdu would be great. It feels like all the key elements—tradition, history, city life, nature, great food—are gathered here, making it a perfect place to visit! When you think of ‘travel,’ you can’t miss out on the food, and there were so many delicious options! Among the many foods, the dish Mina chose is…?! A Sichuan summer snack called Bingfen, filled with various fruits and nuts! Oh~ it’s so pretty…! Let me try it! *Shiratama – rice flour dumplings This feels like the Shiratama I love… What will it taste like…? Hmm…! This part tastes just like the rice cake I imagined, ( Make sure to try it when you visit Chengdu! 😊) and the soup part has the flavor of Annin tofu (almond tofu), so it’s really delicious! Oh… this is definitely something you need to eat..! I like it, haha. A panda on the billboard that looks like it might jump out at any moment..! Wow~ isn’t it amazing?! My time in Chengdu was so happy..❤️ How was the Chengdu trip with me, everyone? In the first part, I introduced places where you can feel tradition and history, and in the second part, I chose places that are easy for personal travel! It was my first visit to Chengdu, and there were so many things to see and delicious food to eat, and most importantly! The pandas were so, so cute!! I feel like I had such a fresh and wonderful time. So, that’s it for today’s video! Mint friends~ see you in the next video~❤️
