[You can tell just by looking at their eyes] So last year, we won album of the year in MAMA. Oh yes, you did. When we just made our debut, we went on MAMA on the year of our debut. – We didn’t get anything that year. – Not even the new artist award. We received no award, we got to perform only for two minutes for each song, with shorter setlist. That’s how we were 10 years ago. 10 years from then, we finally won one of the grand prizes. Later, we heard that it is rare that a group wins grand prize 10 years after debut. Usually it’s like the group is a super hit, and wins grand prize within 2~3 years after debut. But we had to see other groups winning grand prized for all those years. It’s been our colleagues that made debut similar to us, or earlier. – That’s why it meant so much to us. – It’s huge. It was a proof to us that if we stick to what we do, we will be awarded someday. That’s why it meant so much to us. In fact, winning the prize itself may not be as important. What’s more important is being acknowledged by people for what you have been doing all this time. It must be meaningful. We were all crying. You must have been so happy. It made me think about our past. When we were rookies, our goal was winning an award. Now, it’s more about being an artist for as long as we can. Now we are more like "we will get the award some day, if we keep doing this." This is not something a 27-year-old can say. I can feel how mature you guys have become, how you grew and how you worked so hard. I think you deserve to enjoy a bit now. We are working hard, but we also get a vacation every year. – For how long? – About 10 days. A usual company will give more holidays than 10 days. – That’s why we went to Hawaii last time. – Two of us. During our vacation. You should ask for more. Maybe for a month.
