(Today’s trip – Toyosu) Hello guys, I came to Toyosu There’s also the ‘Tokyo Central Wholesale Market’ at Toyosu, and there’s a new facility that opened in February this year, so there are a lot of sights to see, you know? Even though it’s a weekday, I was surprised to see so many foreign tourists earlier. Today, I’ll also enjoy sightseeing properly! Let’s go! This facility that’s been gaining a lot of attention at Toyosu recently is called… "Senkaku Banrai Chingekimannai". *Chingekimannai: It means that thousands of customers come ten times each, indicating that many customers keep visiting alternately. Wow..! It’s my first time seeing it too, and I was surprised by how large it is, more than I expected. This building is an onsen facility called "Mannyo Club," but "Senkaku Banrai" is a facility that operates seafood and food-related amenities. It opened in February this year! It’s very exciting to visit for the first time! It’s been getting attention on social media, and it seems they’ve created a stylish atmosphere based on the Edo period. I’m currently in an area called "Toyosu," but the station is Shijo-Mae Station! Shijo-Mae means "in front of the market," and as the name suggests, there’s the Toyosu Market here! It’s across from Chingekimannai! Although it’s written as Toyosu Market, It can be considered the largest market in Tokyo. You might think of Tsukiji when you think of markets in Tokyo, but in 2018, the market itself moved from Tsukiji to Toyosu. Since people here are connected in seafood trading, there must be a lot of really fresh seafood…* It hasn’t been around for long, so there seem to be many foreign and Japanese visitors alike. Wow, there are so many people here! Toyosu has become really popular, guys. Toyosu is in the direction of Odaiba, and today I came here by riding the Yurikamome train. It would be really fun to come and visit Odaiba as a set. Just keep going straight from Senkaku Banrai~ I’m planning to eat inside the Toyosu Market building I heard it’s a bit cheaper here There are so many different shops, but there are still a lot of sushi restaurants~ Wow…! It must be really fresh, right? Where should I go, everyone~!~! I’m considering where to go.. I’m planning to try a Japanese donburi specialty shop called Yamahara! It looks really delicious! It’s my first time eating seafood here in Toyosu. I’ve been to Tsukiji many times, but since Toyosu moved the market, I haven’t had that experience, so I’m really looking forward to it. It’s not as cheap as I expected, but I think it’s because there’s a lot of seafood. The staff told me that I can add a special part of tuna that’s only available today as a topping. I’m really looking forward to eating it. I added "noten" (the brain part of tuna) to a donburi where you can enjoy various seafood from Hokkaido! (*Noten is the Japanese term for the head part of tuna) The Japanese word Noten means here this head part?! I think it’s going to be very special and delicious! I ordered with high expectations~ A menu full of fresh seafood has arrived! Wow, as expected, the visuals are amazing. (Because of the fresh seafood) It feels like I’ve come to the market..! They say it’s a part with a lot of fat, so they recommend adding plenty of wasabi! I could mix the wasabi with soy sauce! I will enjoy it! First bite, wow~~ They said today is a recommended day for tuna, and I can understand why! It feels so fresh…! I’ve been to many delicious seafood restaurants before, but it’s fascinating to feel such a difference in freshness! I’ll try the scallops too! Mmm!!! The scallops are amazing! Can I describe the texture of scallops as chewy? Ordering this was a good choice! I have to try this noten friend too. What taste will it have…! It’s not greasy, and it has a high-quality oil smell…? It feels like very good oil! Because it’s a fatty part, it’s a luxurious taste…! Personally, if it were only tuna, I might have gotten a little tired of it haha. So, I really liked this menu that offers such diverse flavors The shrimp is big too…! Just looking at it, it’s fresh shrimp (yum yum, is this heaven~) It was such a delicious meal! Thank you for the meal~ (After finishing the meal, we’ve crossed over to the Cheonggyecheon!) It really feels like the Edo period! Back in the day, there wasn’t the word ‘Tokyo’ it was called Edo, and it has that old-timey vibe! So, just now, some high school students passing by said, ‘Really feels like Edo~’ That means ‘It really feels like the Edo period,’ and I think I understand how they feel like I’m really feeling the vibe of the Edo period haha now I’m going to move on to the second course now! ** Received tickets from TeamLab and visited! ** Guys, we’ve arrived at TeamLab from Shijo-mae Station to Shintojosu Station! Now, I’m going to join my friend and enjoy this cool world here. Actually, this is my third time coming here! I’m really excited so shall we go? You must make a reservation here! Same-day tickets are sold out, so it was a good choice to make a reservation before! We’re in! Took off our socks and dropped off our bags! It’s so nice~ There’s slightly lukewarm water falling, but it’s comfortable because I’m barefoot. They provide towels to wipe your wet feet 😊 It’s such a beautiful futuristic space for taking photos! Be careful though, the floor is mirrored, so if you wear a short skirt, you might be visible, so be cautious! With mirrors all around, it’s a great place for taking photos: ) The sparkling lights were so beautiful ✨ (To. Mint ❤️) Here’s a space where you can see fish drawn on the walls. It’s not a pre-made video playing, it’s drawn in real-time by a computer program! Isn’t that amazing? It’s a space filled with countless lights, each shining with different colors, making it even more dazzling! There were spheres emitting light everywhere here. In the concrete, nine colors kept changing and emitting light, and I could even touch them myself, which was so enjoyable. 😊 (I was really excited, hehe) Here is a space where you can see various flowers blooming and withering. I could lie down or sit and enjoy it, so it was very relaxing! This is a mossy garden with OVOID (egg-shaped objects) placed in it. This space looks different during the day and after sunset, and on this day, we could see its daytime appearance! Guys~ I think this is the real big thing about this place~ It seems like many people come here with high expectations. There’s a designated time for taking photos, so I’m waiting in line. Given the time constraint, I’ll quickly take some photos and capture them on video. The scent of flowers fills the air, and it’s so lovely! Are they real flowers? They’re living flowers, so the scent is amazing, and I think this place is TeamLab’s signature space, right? The garden was filled with three-dimensional flowers. 😊 I really enjoyed it because I could comfortably appreciate and feel everything! It was a space where you could feel TeamLab’s signature vibe. Wow, no matter how many times you visit, TeamLab is always fun and there’s plenty to see! You should definitely come! After TeamLab, we walked from Sin-Sooyosu Station to Toyosu Station. It took about 12 minutes, and we arrived at Lalaport Toyosu, guys! We couldn’t take indoor shots here because it’s a really big commercial facility. There are good restaurants and cafes, but what I highly recommend is KidZania. 😊 KidZania is a space only for children where they can experience various professions! To me, it feels like Lotte World Mall in Jamsil! That kind of vibe! Shall we go down below? It’s like a small port down there. It might be pretty around sunset. How was your visit to Toyosu today?
