hey everyone welcome back to another reaction to something new for me um in the future I will probably pick like random out of my list but there’s one artist that is just on there so long and I heard this name mentioned and recommended so many times and still have no idea what it actually is it’s shingi I don’t even know what kind of music exactly it is I even try to uh like I had a vote I wanted to do one of the albums but didn’t get voted on so I think I just want to know what this is about so here we go uh yes this song is like God geeky a Divine angel that draws something let’s [Music] see [Applause] man there’s a lot of going on in this [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] sound okay just this intro man so much going on in the base sound just need this a little bit louder um yeah you know very heavy sound very deep Parts in there CTI and also like singing guitars like lead guitars hold on I wanted to start again so these kind of Jazzy cards [Music] [Applause] here really like just this part here like the combo of the very brutal with the singing me [Music] guitars there screams in [Music] [Music] [Applause] there [Applause] [Music] okay I mean you know I think some people probably will have the issues with the production it’s quite heavily produced but I really like this man like the just there so in the background it’s still really heavy and nasty stuff going on but then yeah combined with this very like Jazzy funky stuff and then in the choros going to the more idle um style this is great so far man yes glad I check this [Music] [Applause] [Music] out the dring these screams like just just mix it in there [Applause] look that’s a lot of s layers going [Applause] on just flip me off yeah I’m SC [Music] me [Music] hold on here man I mean all that rapping awesome but actually that part before you know that very little part before actually gave me like some gataric spin wipes just because of yeah that repping with that funk you know awesome [Applause] [Music] did this part here with that all the jazziness and then this whatever this is the sun’s going crazy on like dub step stuff with all that intense [Music] wrapping [Music] [Applause] [Music] man cool [Music] voice [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] see [Applause] [Music] man I really like that why do I like this so much you know I think in Parts is probably one of the closest things to Broken by the scream even though this doesn’t have that many screams but it still has you know some of that brutalness in there and it really love like just that they added it in you know you could say yeah you can just leave these parts out and it wouldn’t really change the song but I think it really added some yeah I don’t know no just something else to all the things that are in the song already I mean yeah lot of different elements and different wipes really like these singing guitars in here that’s kind of kind of standing out to me a little bit um you know like I said kind of very Cy heavily produced just talking about the instrumentals right now um yeah but still has enough metal and enough real instruments in there I mean the instruments especially here in some parts at the end man they going off couldn’t see anyone playing that but um yeah and I mean let’s get to the vocals yeah a lot of different vocal styles that one girl obviously the screams standing out but also I’m not sure if I’m sorry if it’s the same girl that had this little part here where she sounds a bit almost like whiny um but very cool and interesting I think it was her right I don’t know I like this a lot I mean let me know is this a typical song by them I mean I know it’s the I think the latest release like yeah two weeks ago let me know about it I enjoyed this very much all right thank you for watching and see you in the next one bye yeah

Found them a few days ago they seem promising 🎉🎉🎉
Great to hear that you like Shingeki's song Noctiluca! The multilayered symphonic type of arrangement is their trademark and their songs have multiple parts that often surprise you with changes in tempo and arrangement (their past songs from two or three years ago have even more of that). I also love the individual voices from Kotono (short dark hair) and Imoko (who has the "whiny" sound you mentioned) to Yoiko the rapper and Amane the screamer, as well as TiNA (long reddish hair) and Eva (green hair) who also contribute clean vocals. If you want to check out more, they have many music videos from recent years, I think their most outstanding work is the 2021 "Kagurane" EP that shows a lot of their versatility.
I definitely enjoyed it and would check out more. Especially the strong keyboard usage and the vocals were good for me (usually the sticking point for me) the growls more used for background emphasis rather than lead, and the more idol parts were not too kawaii.
Hmm, if i have to be truthful, for my taste there are a bit to many layers involved in parts of the song.

There's a lot I like and also a lot I don’t on first listen. You could probably guess both. If you do an album, I would follow it and find out which way it goes for me.
