Morning routine in a rural houseㅣHouse cleaning and gardeningㅣCooking at homeㅣVlog

Hi all! I’m Olesya. Welcome to my home and my videos. I am using a translator, so I apologize for any mistakes. Today the weather is good, which means you can devote this day to cleaning. After a long winter, I haven’t washed the windows yet.

You can start with one room and gradually move around the house so that it is not too tiring. When there are seedlings on the windowsills, a lot of dirt always forms. This needs to be cleaned constantly. Therefore, I am always happy when this period ends and the seedlings move into the garden.

Chickens are immensely happy with the warmth, as they can constantly walk freely and bask in the sun. With the arrival of warmth, life is in full swing. Everyone has a lot of worries, from a person to a butterfly or a flower, everyone has their own task.

I love taking care of the house, and with the arrival of spring, it’s as if internal resources are activated and a lot of energy appears. This is the shady side and I also illuminate the seedlings with additional light. I once painted these bedside tables a light color and they serve perfectly.

You can always change the interior with your own hands and give a second life to old things. On my side of the nightstand there is always some cute decor. My husband is more conservative and usually only has a night light and a phone on his nightstand.

I also have a pile of laundry that I need to sort out. Thanks for all your advice and recommendations. I even started to train myself to iron less things. For example, towels.

Although I really love well-ironed linen. But now I have less and less free time and I want to spend it on more important things. There were mostly clothes left that needed ironing. I usually do my ironing in the evening before going to bed.

It is very convenient to store small towels in a basket where you can quickly access them. I don’t have much storage space so I ordered a new wooden cabinet. But the production time is a month. So you’ll have to wait a little.

All that’s left to do is vacuum and you can move on to other tasks. In the future I will take these old cuirassin lamps to my forest house. I want to repaint this bench a different color. Maybe light olive, what do you think? Can you give me an idea!

It’s time to change your pillows to a more spring-inspired design. A floral tapestry would be perfect. I’ll put away this Christmas tree pillowcase until next winter. When I saw this pillowcase with a swallow, I immediately fell in love. Looks very nice. Today I want to make a light vegetable salad.

The salad comes together very quickly and is a great easy lunch. For vegetables, we will need eggplant, toms, a bunch of cilantro, and onions. Peel the eggplants and cut into large cubes. Place in water. You can immediately salt the water. But I just put it in unsalted water.

We need water so that the starch sticks well to the eggplants. Prepare the rest of the ingredients right away so you can quickly assemble the salad. Cut the tomatoes into slices, thinly slice the onion into half rings. A bunch of cilantro can be cut or just separate the leaves as I did.

Roll wet eggplants in corn starch (the starch should be corn starch, then there will be a crispy crust) Carefully roll the eggplants in starch. Then fry in hot oil. The crust remains quite light and the inside of the eggplant is soft.

Eggplants fried in this way are very tasty with a crispy crust. Let’s make the dressing sauce. Mix sweet tomato sauce with hot chili sauce. Approximately 1:2. The recipe calls for adding 1 more tablespoon of oyster sauce, but we don’t sell it here, so I didn’t add it.

Place all ingredients in a bowl and pour in tomato sauce. Serve immediately so that the eggplant retains its crunchiness. I’ll show you how crispy eggplants are. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the salad. Let’s have a snack. Bon Appetit!

Very tasty salad! When the vegetable season comes, I will definitely cook it more often. With the arrival of warmer weather, priorities change and the main work moves to the garden. Viewers still often ask what breed of chickens they are. This is an English Orpington breed, fawn in color.

This is an egg-meat breed of chicken. We keep them for eggs and want to keep them for breeding. I need to prune dead bushes. I suspect that these chrysanthemums did not survive the winter. At this time, young shoots usually emerge, but there is nothing on these flowers.

This is true :(( There is not a single young shoot. Just a weed. Thus, 4 chrysanthemum bushes disappeared over the winter. It’s a pity. Young shoots of this flower are clearly visible. Apparently it depends on the variety; not all flowers are adapted to our climate. Although the seller assured me otherwise.

I will send all the dry grass to the compost. Despite the fact that chickens are quite neat, they, like any farm animals, produce a lot of garbage. And in the coop you need to periodically remove any leftover food. The hyacinths have withered long ago, and there hasn’t been time to plant them yet.

Next year, all the hyacinths will delight you with their blooms right in the flowerbed. I’ll plant some muscari next to it. I think they will take root here just fine. We take water for watering the garden from a well, watering is free, we only pay for the electricity that the motor consumes.

Roosters constantly sort things out. All the flowers in this garden were also purchased by March 8 and then planted in the garden. All that remains is to plant these beautiful double daffodils that I bought at the sale.

For me, gardening is always a kind of therapy. I always leave the garden pleasantly tired and very inspired! Young people tend to leave for big cities. But as you get older, you happily return to the earth, to the garden and to simple life.

Thank you very much my dear friends for visiting my home! Now it’s difficult for me to respond to all the comments. Therefore, I thank each of you with words and give you my love and heart! Thank you very much! Oh! Hello cute frog!
