卓球女子の2012年ロンドン五輪団体銀、16年リオ五輪団体銅メダリストの福原愛さん（35）が15日、東京・日本外国特派員協会（FCCJ）で会見を開き、元夫で元卓球男子・台湾代表の江宏傑氏（35）と4歳の長男の親権について和解したことを報告した。
江氏と福原さんは16年9月に結婚。福原さんは17年10月に長女、19年4月に長男を出産している。21年7月に離婚が成立したことを発表。2人の子供については共同親権を持つとしていたが、江氏側によると、福原さんが昨年日本に長男を連れて帰り、以降連絡を絶っていたという。
福原さんは、紺のジャケット姿で登場。「共同親権」で合意し、和解が成立したことを伝えた。福原さんは「この度は、私のことで皆さまにご心配、ご迷惑をお掛けしてしまい、大変申し訳なく思っております。江さんと和解しましたので、この場で皆さまにご報告させていただきます。これからは江さんと協力をして、子供を育てていきたいと思っております。皆さまには、どうか温かく見守っていただければ幸いです。今後ともよろしくお願いいたします」と伝えた。
会見には、江氏側の大渕愛子弁護士、台湾の許聖波弁護士、福原さん側の押久保正人弁護士、酒井奈緒弁護士が出席した。
