【京都旅行】 京都観光&グルメ1泊2日の旅!冬の京都観光とグルメを満喫!京都旅行1泊2日の旅費はいくら!?

Hello! This video is about a 1-night, 2-day trip to Kyoto. It was filmed last February. I put it off and before I knew it, a year had passed 😅 There’s no snowscape, but I hope it serves as a reference for a winter trip to Kyoto.

Also, at the end of the video, I’ll reveal the cost for the 1-night, 2-day stay, so please watch until the end 😊 First, we’re heading to the hotel by bus. OMO5 Kyoto Sanjo We’ll drop off our luggage and head out for lunch. bistro & wine En-en A restaurant along a small river.

Located within walking distance to Heian Shrine and the Kyocera Museum of Art. The second floor is prioritized for group customers. But we were allowed to use it thanks to their kindness as it was empty. Grape juice and amuse-bouche. Beet soup. An assortment of appetizers. Green salad with smoked salmon. Quiche and roast beef.

Lentils, carrot rapé, etc… all delicious 🥰 For the main, I had today’s fresh fish in a bouillabaisse style. Rich with the essence of seafood. Dipping bread into the leftover soup is yummy 😍 Takasan had the beef cheek stewed in red wine. Tender and equally delicious 🥰 The dessert was also delicious!

This trip was just before the inflation hit. Therefore, I think the prices may not be a reference now, so I chose not to write them down. Details about the restaurant and sightseeing spots are in the description box. Check out the link in the description for the latest information. 😉

We’ll walk about 5 minutes to the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum. By the way, the current exhibition (as of February 2024) is “Takashi Murakami: The Monsters in Kyoto.” We’ll walk about 5 minutes to Heian Shrine. The roads are wide. “Shrines and temples were boring as a kid, huh?”

“Did you think they were beautiful?” “I thought the five-storied pagoda was beautiful.” “Kinkaku-ji, Ginkaku-ji too.” “For me, it was that—” “The one on the back of the 10 yen coin.” “Byodoin Phoenix Hall.” “Is Byodoin Phoenix Hall in Kyoto?” “I don’t know.” Us, lacking historical knowledge…

A year ago, I was merely captivated by the grandeur and beauty of the buildings. Looking back at old videos made me realize that. But since I started making videos, I began to research a bit of history, And just standing in those places makes me feel something profound.

And it made traveling so much more enjoyable! So wide… The building is supposedly 5/8 the size of the original. It was even bigger… Looking back, the torii gate is visible and beautiful. There’s also a garden. So spacious… I’d like to take a closer look next time.

We’ll head back to the hotel to check in. We’ll rest in our separate rooms until dinner time. Oh, having this room all to myself is such a treat. Happy to see both a power outlet and USB port by the pillow. It’s a graveyard view.

This time, we booked through a travel agency’s Shinkansen package plan. Lucky for us, it was advertised with a bathtub included. Officially, you can’t choose between just a shower or a bathtub. Toilet. Hair dryer. Towels are under the sink. Hangers. Slippers. A shoehorn attached to the door.

The room has only the most basic amenities. Room wear is for rent. We’ll walk to the izakaya we reserved. Arrived too early. Waiting idly by the river. Sakaba Kimiya. A very popular place. Reservations are possible only at opening time. The side dishes lined up on the U-shaped counter all look delicious! Potato salad.

Eel and maitake mushroom Yanagawa-style stew. Something like a tomato stew… was super delicious! Jeon (Korean pancake). Wine poured generously into the glass. Curry-flavored rice noodles. Stir-fried celery was delicious too! Pork loin steak. The butter soy sauce flavor really whets the appetite. Rice balls. Seriously, everything in this restaurant is delicious!

Homely flavors and reasonably priced! Great atmosphere in the restaurant too. Highly recommended! Walking to Yasaka Shrine for a post-meal stroll. “Wow! So many couples by the river.” “In this cold.” “This spot is chilly with the breeze.” “Brr.” “Ah, something’s going on.” “Such a crowd.” Finally arrived.

The main hall was quietly standing without flashy lights at night. Good morning. It’s the morning of day two. Came to Ogawa Coffee for breakfast. They have whole grain toast and decaf coffee. Walking from Nishiki Market → Gion → Kiyomizu Temple. Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine.

Shockingly, my recording of Nishiki Market to Gion Shirakawa was somehow in slow motion 😭. So, starting from Gion Shirakawa. Plums were starting to bloom here and there. Tatsumi Shrine. This place was in the drama “Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san” 😮. It’s nice there aren’t many people. I bet it’s packed in spring.

Saw posters of “Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san” around. Yuraku Inari Daimyojin. This is where Kiyo prayed for world peace. Made it to Yasaka Shrine. We’ll head to Kiyomizu Temple via Nene’s Path. This area is nice and quiet with fewer people. Gradually, it’s getting more crowded. Looks like the stairs to Kodaiji Temple.

The final resting place of Hideyoshi’s wife Nene, Entoku-in. So many places I want to see, but have to skip due to time constraints. Stumbled upon a soba noodle shop, perfect for lunch. Hagi Charyo. There was a charming garden. Fox Soba Set. Warm soba to soothe and relax.

Warmed up, off to Kiyomizu Temple again. Lots of tourists and people in kimonos enjoying sightseeing. Lots of young people even on a weekday. Maybe school’s out? Wow, it’s getting really crowded! So many people. Finally made it! The ticket features a winter scene. I wonder if it changes with the seasons?

View from the Main Hall to the Koyasu Pagoda. View of the Main Hall from the Inner Sanctuary. A queue for the wish-granting Otowa Waterfall. That was the quick route through Kiyomizu Temple. Arrived at Kyoto Station by taxi. Used Crosta Kyoto Carry Service to transport luggage from the hotel to the station.

Sweets shop Ho no Akari in JR Kyoto Isetan. Relaxing a bit before the Shinkansen ride. That’s some fancy Anmitsu… 🤩 Pouring plenty of black syrup over it… 🤩 It was delicious 😋 And that’s the end of our fun Kyoto trip. With bento from the Shinkansen as a backdrop,

I’ll reveal the total cost of the 1 night 2 days Kyoto trip. The total cost for the 1 night 2 days Kyoto trip is… These were last year’s prices, so it might be more expensive now… Thank you for watching till the end! See you on our next journey 🫶
