The amount equal to the number of views of this video will be donated by LUXURY CARD to support the victims of the 2020 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. Hello, this is Lily from Luxury Holiday Channel. I am taking the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

The purpose of this video is different from usual, so I’ll explain it first. On January 1, 2024, a large earthquake occurred with its epicenter in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, causing severe damage.

I was born in Suzu City in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, which was hit hard by the disaster, and my parents’ home was near the sea. My parents’ house was completely destroyed. (My family was out, so everyone is safe.)

The town that is full of memories has changed completely, and to be honest, I still can’t accept it. One month has passed, but there is still no hope for recovery, and even an insufficient understanding of the extent of the damage. I support my family, relatives, and local community, but

When I was wondering if there was anything else I could do, Luxury Card approached me and asked if we could collaborate on a support project. I did it! First, we donated 500,000 yen from Luxury Card and Adult Holiday Channel to Ishikawa Prefecture.

As mentioned at the beginning, Luxury Card will donate 1 yen for every view of this video. Within Ishikawa Prefecture, Kanazawa City and the Kaga region have suffered little damage, but are currently deserted due to a series of travel cancellations.

Although the Noto region is not yet suitable for tourism, by visiting Kanazawa, support will be provided not only to the tourism industry but also to various industries in Ishikawa Prefecture.

So, first of all, I would like you to travel to Kanazawa, eat delicious food, see beautiful things, and have fun! With that in mind, I created a video to recommend travel.

As someone who grew up in Kanazawa, I would be happy if you could use this as a reference for the “high-quality trip to Kanazawa for adults”! We would like to carry out many reconstruction support projects in the future, so please support us by watching and commenting!

The “Luxury Card” that provided this Ishikawa Prefecture earthquake support project is a credit card with Mastercard’s highest status, “World Elite.”

This is my favorite card, which has the philosophy of “Being surrounded by the people and things you love, and living your life in your own way. This is what a luxury card thinks of as true luxury.” It’s a card that makes you feel happy just by holding it. I will introduce it again later♪

2 hours and 30 minutes on the “Hokuriku Shinkansen Kagayaki”. We have arrived at Kanazawa Station! First, let’s start with the accommodation video. I enjoyed sightseeing and eating, so I’ll share it with you in the next video♪

When you go out from the station, you’ll see the “Hospitality Dome”. You can take a taxi or bus from here. Beyond that is the “Tzumi-mon” gate, which can be said to be a symbol of Kanazawa.

I will meet up with my sister here. I hope this trip will be a distraction for her who has been affected by the disaster. It’s usually crowded with people taking commemorative photos here, but it seems like the number of tourists visiting Kanazawa has decreased more than I expected.

Take a taxi and head to the inn where you will be staying this time♪ Approximately 30 minutes by car from Kanazawa Station. It is about 15 minutes from the tourist center. There are also hot spring inns in Kanazawa city.

It is a famous inn that has been ranked number one in the Hokuriku area according to reviews on “Ikkyu.com”. Almost there! That’s the hot spring inn we’ll be staying at this time. Kanazawa’s inner parlor. The surrounding area is a quiet mountainous rural landscape. It looks great standing there.

The splendid building will make you look forward to your future stay. Give your name, drop off your luggage, and head inside. It’s been a while since I saw snow. It lingers well and has a good atmosphere. We’ll take a leisurely walk later, so let’s go inside first.

“Kanazawa Saikawa Onsen, Kawabata Hot Spring Inn, Takitei” When the door opens, you will be greeted with wonderful facilities like this. I took off my shoes and was guided to the lounge in front of me. Check in here. You can enjoy the beautiful courtyard from the window. it’s the best!

Matcha and a small Kutani ware plate with Moroeya Rakugan. The facilities are arranged in a rectangular shape surrounding this lovely courtyard, and are designed for walking around. The cold cherry blossoms are blooming! It seems that we can enjoy plum blossoms and weeping cherry blossoms from now on.

The inside of the building is very complete. I’m looking forward to taking a walk later ♪ I head to my room. The hallways are carpeted with tatami mats, making it comfortable to walk around. There are three main types of guest rooms, each with a different flavor.

This time we made a reservation for “Ren, Saigawa”. Beyond this bride’s curtain is an area exclusively for guests of “Anete Saigawa”. As you move forward, there will be more doors and you will be in a different space. There is a lounge exclusively for “Ane Saigawa”. I’ll take a look at it later.

“Ane Saigawa” is a two-story building with a total of 10 rooms. I arrived at the second floor. It has an atrium and you can see the lounge from above. It’s bright and has a good atmosphere, with plenty of wood and a warm feel. This is the room.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of room it will be. The room is called “Higurashi”. excuse me for disturbing you! The hallways inside the building were also carpeted with tatami mats, as were the hallways in the rooms. Cute items will welcome you.

It seems to be spacious in the back too. A bright light is shining. Moving forward, it is spacious and has a unique design. If you go further, you will find a spacious space like a wide veranda where you can relax ♡ The view

Is amazing! This is a special seat overlooking the leisurely flowing Sai River. The Saigawa River flows calmly into the center of Kanazawa, and the citizens of Kanazawa cherish it very much. The trees have lost their leaves and are covered in white snow, which is typical of this season and is very atmospheric.

Looking back, the room looks like this. The steps, which look like benches, create a relaxing space. It has a relaxed structure and gentle colors. On the table is a snack called “beaver,” which has long been loved in Hokuriku. A light green stool. A stylish massage chair.

There is a memo pad and a telephone in the study area. There is also a room service menu for drinks and late night snacks. From the moment you enter the room, you will feel very comfortable and feel like you can truly relax and unwind. The stepped design gives a sense of openness.

I have an area like this in my living area. A small sink, pot and tea set. The scooping bowl is from a local company called NIKKO. There is a refrigerator at your feet. The main room is very large, 12.5 tatami mats.

There is a futon in the closet on the right, and a safe on the left, making it a closet. Information about the museum and tea and sweets are available on the desk. There are 3 types ♡ “Wagashi Murakami”‘s “wari ice”. This is a dried confectionery made using agar.

This is Koeido’s Kaga Bocha Manju. We also have pecan snacks♪ The TV is on top of a nice chest of drawers. Yukata, haori, socks and bathing set. This is what is included in the bath set. Let’s go to the bathroom in the back. There is a large open-air bath.

It is a luxurious space with a spacious washing area. You can see the Saigawa River and the snowy scenery from the bath. Alkaline spring that beautifully moisturizes your skin. It has no scent and is colorless and transparent.

The reflection of the trees on the water is also beautiful. It’s a really nice open-air bath. I’m glad that the shampoos are from “Mikimoto Cosmetics”♪ The shower head generates ultra-fine bubbles and is expected to have a beauty effect.

You can have the best bathing experience with the sound of the river as background music. When you look from the bath, you can see the terrace that was visible from the room earlier. Not only the snowy scenery, but also the season of lush green leaves and the season of autumn leaves look beautiful!

This is what the bathroom looks like. There is plenty of room on both sides, making it easy to use. We have a wide selection of face wash and skin care products. Face masks are also provided. The towel is embroidered with the “Takitei” logo. Mikimoto’s “MOONPEARL” skin care set is also available.

This is a room where you can feel the care and hospitality in every corner. Although it is located on the edge of Kanazawa, you can reach the tourist center in 20 minutes by car. The northern part of the Noto Peninsula suffered the most damage from this Noto earthquake.

I would like to actively go to the Kanazawa and Kaga areas located in the south and support them. Spend your time relaxing in this lovely room. Here, I would like to introduce the luxury card that proposed this Ishikawa Prefecture earthquake support project♪

Luxury cards have beautiful designs. Made of metal, it has a unique and stylish look! I have never paid much attention to the design of cards, but I really like the design of luxury cards and am attached to them. Every time I use it, I get excited♪

It’s a card with Mastercard’s highest status, “World Elite,” so it’s reliable and highly rated♪ A card is meaningless if you can’t use it. This card gives you the peace of mind that you can use it anywhere.

As introduced in past cruise videos, this card offers unique benefits not found in other companies, and is fun to own. For example, once you use Concierge, you won’t be able to put it down! Operators respond immediately without automatic voice support. In addition to phone calls and emails, we also support LINE.

In addition to making travel reservations, we also select and make reservations for dining restaurants. You can also feel free to ask about gifts and surprises. I also asked the concierge to make a reservation for my stay at Takitei.

Another option is “Lounge Hour” which can be used on a daily basis at the hotel bar. Members-only sets are available at bars and lounges at top hotels, making them perfect for meetings or having a quick drink.

Furthermore, the members-only “community” where 60% of the members are business owners is also attractive! There are various opportunities for interaction, and I often hear stories of people making connections through business or hobbies. A luxury card that still has many charms. How about a colorful and rich daily companion?

Return to the main story. Let’s take a walk around the facility♪ Let’s start from the entrance! Established over 60 years ago. It is said that the old head of the family found a waterfall here, dug a hot spring, and started an inn. approach. The trees are decorated with “Yukitsuri”, a winter tradition.

It’s a very quiet place, which makes it even more unusual. The view when you enter the front door. That’s excellent. A large lantern with a gentle light catches the eye, and there is a tatami floor right from the entrance. In the front is a work called “Waterfall” by calligrapher Syoko Kanazawa.

At the top, you can see the gorgeous and beautiful works of Kaga Yuzen. This is the lobby lounge where we checked in. After the evening, wine and cold drinks, snacks, and mini ramen for a late-night snack will be available.

The garden has a large weeping cherry tree, which seems to take on a different look each season. There is also a large pond and a beautiful babbling stream. You can also cross the middle and go to the large public bath on the other side.

Artworks are displayed here and there in the museum, and this one is a work by Yoshita Minori, a Living National Treasure of Kutani ware. There is also a bar in front of the lobby for drinks and snacks. There is a shop near the lobby.

We have sweets and crafts typical of Kanazawa. There are cute items made using mizuhiki from Kanazawa, and items made with gold leaf, which boasts a production share of over 98%.♪ There are various flavors of “beaver” available in the room as well. You can also purchase Moroeya’s rakugan, which we received at check-in, here.

There is a corner to support Oku-Noto. Noto also has many special products and traditional crafts. Wajima lacquer. Almost all businesses suffered damage to their workshops and offices. There seems to be no prospect of restarting salt production in Suzu.

As you go deeper into the circular-style building, you will arrive at a place like this. As you proceed, you will find an outdoor relaxing space. Here is the waterfall where Takitei came from! There is a footbath in the best place to view the waterfall.

When you look up, you will see two waterfalls called Meoto Falls. Depending on the season and weather, it seems that there are times when you can’t see two trees, but on this day there was only one.

This waterfall is said to be formed by water that spilled from an irrigation canal built by the Kaga clan about 400 years ago. I arrived in front of the lobby lounge across the garden. The garden seen from this side is also very nice!

A white garden covered in snow. The weeping cherry blossoms are very splendid. The atmosphere was so nice that I forgot about the cold and stayed here for a while. I’m curious about the stage-like terrace ahead. Proceed further and enter the building to find a large public bath.

This lovely terrace is a rest area in front of the public bath. This is a special seat. It’s so nice that I want to stay here forever. I was shown the large bathing area of the women’s bath ♪ It is rare that there are tables and chairs in the changing room.

The spacious powder area is also impressive. It has a luxurious atmosphere. Refa hair dryer is set in a cute box! The bathroom is also comfortable with a large chair and a large mirror. Skin care products are also available in the public bath. This is rare!

This is a gold leaf lotion from “Kinpakuya Sakuda”! It can be used on both the face and body. There is also a Refa hair dryer and a curl dryer here. There are lots of fun ideas throughout, making it fun. This is what the inside of the public bath looks like.

The windows are large and bright. The design with the roof is nice. Most of the rooms have an open-air bath, so they are spacious enough. A washing area decorated with Kutani ware ceramic plates. The view from the washroom. I found a waterfall! What a wonderful sight! I came to the open-air bath.

This is a rock bath with an atmosphere. I want to stay here forever. You can see the waterfall up close from the open-air bath! It has a good sound. I feel like the sound of this waterfall will wash away my fatigue and worries♪ I

Went around the area and came to the lounge of “Anete Saigawa”. Ample space. The warmth of the wood is comfortable. There is a soft drink and snack corner with sweets, coffee, tea, juice, etc. It’s very fulfilling! There are utensils to use in the lounge and paper cups to take back to your room.In

The lounge, you can enjoy drinks in Kiriko glasses or NIKKO C&S. There are also cute snack dispensers like this one. The bowls and teacups that hold the snacks are also luxurious, using Ishikawa prefecture crafts such as Kutani ware and Suzu ware. We also have Takitei’s original snacks ♪

There was also a library space like this! There are books, comics, paperbacks, games, etc. related to Ishikawa Prefecture. Director Yonebayashi, who directed “When Marnie Was There” and “Arrietty,” is from Ishikawa Prefecture. You can relax and spend your free time in this quiet and comfortable place.

All you can see from the window is the natural scenery. I feel like I can feel refreshed. Is it a sasanqua flower? It stands out against the white snow. I would like to go back to my room and take a bath before dinner.

The sun has set and the area is dimly lit, creating a good mood. It’s time for the long-awaited dinner. There are 21 rooms for dinner. A private dining room is provided for all guests. It seems that you can also use it just for meals in the evening.

This looks like our restaurant. It has big windows and is nice. Appetizers are already prepared on the table, and expectations are high♪ This is the menu for the day. Outside the window is a snow-covered garden. It has a moat table, so you can sit with your legs stretched out.

There are many local sakes from Ishikawa Prefecture on the drink menu! I’m glad that all the items are familiar to me. We also have drinking comparison sets. We also have shochu and plum wine from Ishikawa Prefecture♪ Kaga plum wine is always on hand at our house.

We start with an aperitif of yuzu honey ♡ Since we visited during the Setsubun season, the theme of the appetizers was “Oni is outside, fortune is inside.” I’m really happy with the seasonal feel.

This is the demon outside. There is a gold stick made of arare and black burdock, and a demon is drawn on the bowl. Fortune is within. There are many ingenious features such as lucky beans on the bowls and squares with Otafuku drawn on them.

Of course, the taste is also great. Enjoy using your chopsticks as you browse through the elaborate menus. In a lacquered bowl, there is sea urchin and seaweed made with red mandarin. For sake, I chose “Sogen”, a sake from my hometown of Suzu.

“Sogen”’s brewery was also destroyed, but they have resumed making sake using the surviving mash. A cute sashimi has appeared with a snow fence decoration. A taste unique to the winter of the Sea of Japan. Sweet shrimp, yellowtail, sea bream, tuna, and bigfin squid.

The fan-shaped bowl is also nice. It reminds me of the slightly sweet taste of Kanazawa soy sauce. Next, the side dishes. Grilled fish and fried foods appeared. There are two types of yellowtail from the Sea of Japan and redfish called “throat black”. The tempura is exquisite.

Furthermore, we have added a dish that feels like Kanazawa ♪ Fried sweet shrimp and gori. Gori is a goby type of fish and is one of the important ingredients of Kaga cuisine.

Gori is caught in the Saigawa River, which can be seen from the room. The taste is similar to rockfish and is elegant. Fry it whole and enjoy its aroma. The crab has arrived! When you think of the Sea of Japan in winter, it’s crabs.

It’s snow crab. Crab miso is available with half crab and a separate side. The shell on the back of the legs has been cut to make it easier to remove the body. It’s still delicious. It’s delicate, sweet, and makes me feel happy.

It is a hot soup made with meat and vegetables called kan. Shrimp sweet potato and Shirako. Covered with a thick bean paste and a gentle seasoning, it will soothe your soul. The stove on the table caught fire. I’m tempted to open the lid, but I’ll hold off for a while.

When you open it, you’ll see Noto beef with a nice color. A lot of vegetables are placed under the meat and eaten with a sweet sauce. The last dish is rice, miso soup, and pickled vegetables.

The rice used is JA Kanazawa’s most popular Koshihikari rice called “Taki no Sei,” which is grown in the mountainous areas of Kanazawa. At the end, we received water sweets. It was delicious. I am very satisfied that I was able to enjoy so many things typical of Kanazawa.

When I returned to my room, the futon had been spread out. Well then, good night ♪ Good morning. I wake up earlier than the sun and relax in the hot spring bath in my room. Today’s sky is typical of winter in Kanazawa. After getting ready, I headed to breakfast ♪

As I was walking around the building, I found a wonderful piece of Kutani ware. This is the work of Kazuo Nakada, a leading expert in the technique called glaze uraginsai. Furthermore, Takegoshi Kazunori’s ceramic board work has wonderful delicate painting. The entrance to Takitei is depicted.

I will guide you to the restaurant where we had dinner yesterday. The atmosphere is different and nice in the morning! You can see greenery from the windows, and the light shines through, creating a refreshing atmosphere. Many menus are already on standby in the morning.

Freshly cooked rice is served in a Kutani ware bowl. There are 3 types of sashimi on the rice cake with your name on it. Obanzai in Kanazawa. The stove is lit, hot dishes are brought out one after another, and you are surrounded by delicious aromas and steam.

There was a menu with cute illustrations like this one. Ishikawa Prefecture has the largest catch of wild blowfish in Japan. The boiled tofu from Shibata, a long-established tofu shop in Omicho Market, is starting to warm up. It also contains a lot of soft beef tendon.

When drying red pine nuts overnight, grill both sides. It is exquisite with its moist and refined fat. The rice is “waterfall spirit.” The miso soup is made with nameko mushrooms from Hakusan, which has a nice texture and a strong flavor.

It’s luxurious with many menus starting in the morning. All the flavors are gentle and delicious. The container inside the weight is also Kutani ware. I’m happy to receive a little bit of a variety of things.

The white thing on the right is a puffer fish from Noto. It has a good texture and a sweet taste. We also have a wide selection of vegetables such as salads, vegetable juices, and seasonal stir-fries. Hot spring eggs from Nakanoto that are harvested in the morning.

We also received fruit and yogurt. Thanks for the meal. Return to the room and take a bath in the hot spring again. I will enjoy it as long as I have time.

The Sai River is called the “Otoko River” because of its powerful flow. This is the river that Kanazawa’s great literary figure Saisei Muro loved so much. After being soothed by the Saigawa River and the hot springs, it’s almost time to leave.

The rooms at “Anete Saigawa” were quiet, had a great view, and were spacious. This private lounge is also very comfortable and the tableware is carefully selected. Pass through the bridal curtain and head to the front desk. During my stay, I received many messages of sympathy from my sister, which made me very grateful.

This is my favorite luxury card, pink gold. I will settle the payment here. Takitei apparently has a plan for disaster victims, so if you are a disaster victim, please check it out. Since I have been picked up, I will take a taxi and go sightseeing in Kanazawa ♪

As I walk along the beautiful approach, I will look back on the comfort of Takitei. The closest hot spring inn from Kanazawa Station. We had a wonderful time. During my stay, I felt the hospitality extended to every corner. Until the end, even in the cold, they were waving to see me off.

I would like to come again. I would also like to bring my parents who couldn’t come this time! I would like to enjoy Kanazawa a lot from now until the time of the Shinkansen. I hope this will give you some tips for your trip to Kanazawa.

Thank you for watching until the end. Please take a trip to Kanazawa to support Noto. That’s it for Lily♪

On January 1st of this year, a large earthquake struck Japan’s Noto Peninsula.
I was born in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, on the Noto Peninsula.
The town was completely transformed by the large earthquake and tsunami.
The house I was born in was completely destroyed.
The collapsed house in the video was taken by my mother.

For this video, we are planning to donate 1 JPY per view to donate to earthquake relief funds.
(A credit card company called Luxury Card is cooperating with us.)

In addition, due to the earthquake, people completely disappeared from Kanazawa,
A tourist city in the same prefecture that did not suffer any damage.
Therefore, I made this video because I wanted as many people as possible to come and visit Kanazawa,
because Noto, which suffered a lot of damage, is dangerous, but Kanazawa is safe.
The next video is a Kanazawa sightseeing vlog.

We have already received a lot of support from many people overseas. thank you.

I would be happy if you could travel to Kanazawa, play this video,
spread the word, or show interest.

THANK YOU!!

  18. I was in Japan when the earthquake happened and felt the earthquake even though I was in Matsushima Miyagi. As someone vacationing in Japan, I donated 5000 Yen to the Community Chest because I didn't want to enjoy my time in Japan while others lost their homes. It made me sad and wanted to do something good. I am happy to have watch your video and give continued support.
