This episode was when Kumiko became the real protagonist. Since there haven’t been many episodes focused on Kumiko, it was great to have this dedicated time to confront Eupho. The scene where Kumiko repeatedly expresses her desire to improve while sprinting at full power was too good…

Connecting Kumiko’s changing feelings, setbacks, and understanding Reina’s tears and feelings was beautifully done. For Takisensei enthusiasts, this was the ultimate divine episode!!!!!!｡ﾟ(｡ﾉωヽ｡)ﾟ｡ In the frustration of not being able to play, those words from Takisensei were so uplifting. They become the driving force to keep going.

★・Kumiko saying “I can play” and believing that they can go to Kansai ・Believing that they can go to Kansai with the KitaUji These are words that can be understood simultaneously. That line from Takisensei is powerful.

I thought it might be an anime-original episode, but it had elements from the original, and the fantastic, devilish glasses teacher, thank you…･ﾟ･(つД｀)･ﾟ･ Anyway, Kumiko’s mobile phone call history almost being filled with Reina, I couldn’t stop laughing.
