Hello guys, I came to Yoyogi-Uehara Station today This area is quiet residential area and there are many pretty cafes, accessory shop or clothing stores I heard this area has a charm which is like treasure hunting, so shall we go?
When you go outside from the station you can see the residential area right away and I think it is pretty It’s the scenery you can see from the movie named Your Name. It’s very calm~
There’s also a small shop street, so it seems like it’s set up like this because the shops are small. There are so many shops! And it says there are many shops on the side streets too. And I think the shop I want to go to is here.
I guess I need to walk a little further~ Wow, the color scheme and the atmosphere of the shops look really pretty~ You can tell at a glance that these are shops run by individuals, not chain stores. Overall, it feels sophisticated and nice.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been here, but it’s really fun! Hehe It’s full of shops that are full of sentiment and that I haven’t seen before Personally, it seems to fit my taste well.
Oh, but for those coming from overseas, they might get confused, so let me explain. *Attention* Yoyogi-Uehara Station and Yoyogi Station are in different locations! Don’t get confused~ I’m really hungry right now, and the shop I want to go to is close to the station.
It’s near Uehara Station, just a 2-minute walk away. *andagyoza As expected, it’s popular, so there’s a line. I saw a long line, but still, I’m second in line. It seems worth the wait. I’ll wait and try the delicious Andagyōza dumplings! It’s a dumpling shop!
What’s interesting is that they gave warm water instead of cold water. The warm water feels really good for the body. It’s fun because it has a retro and distinctive vibe. The counter seats here have spacious desks, so it doesn’t feel cramped, which is even better.
This place has a lot of stars on food review sites, *Bib Gourmand: A restaurant offering excellent food at reasonable prices. and it’s one of the Bib Gourmands in the Michelin guide, known for affordable yet high-quality food. I really wanted to come here since it’s been featured as a famous restaurant.
Here you go, this set includes three types of Sui Gyoza. Think of it as a dumpling set. They’re already seasoned, so you can eat them as individual dishes. They say you can change the taste using the condiments available here. They look really delicious.
(*Lage Rice: Rice bowl topped with enoki mushrooms) I also ordered the Lage Rice, and even as a picture, it looks good… it’s pretty. Finally, it’s tasting time! Guys, I thought what’s inside this dumpling might be similar to Korean dumplings, but it was completely different.
I thought it might be similar, but it was totally different. The smell is really strong, but I can’t figure out what it is? Mmm~ The dough part of the dumpling was really thick, wasn’t it? So it has a chewy texture like rice cakes, I like Sui Gyoza (boiled dumplings), I usually order it a lot when I go to Chinese restaurants, but here you can eat it deliciously without any condiments!
Do we need to take some home? Now I understand why people get takeout. When I looked at the Sui Gyoza set menu properly, (Rice cake-like dumpling skin filled with meat, vegetables, etc. – boiled dumplings!) It seems there are four different types.
The Sui Gyoza set I ordered apparently includes two pieces of each type. This one seems to be carrot curry, everyone. When I split open the dumpling, I could smell the curry, (Different aroma and flavor depending on the type!) and it’s fascinating how each one has a different flavor profile!
And I should try this one too! As expected, it didn’t disappoint! (Her face says it all) It’s not too salty, the smell isn’t overwhelming, it’s amazing! It’s the kind of taste that makes you feel like it would make you feel better if you had a cold. But I really don’t like healthy food..? But this is delicious!
Isn’t it the best when something tastes good but is also healthy?? Wow, I shouldn’t be getting this excited alone, They say the dumpling skin here is made from rice cakes. Rice cakes are said to be good for both the skin and blood vessels, so it seems like it’s good for the body as well.
Personally, I find that Michelin-starred restaurants often have high prices, so there’s this expectation that ‘of course it’s delicious!’ There’s this perception that ‘since it’s expensive, it must be delicious!’ I seem to prefer Michelin Bib Gourmand places, and I wonder how something so affordable can be so delicious.

But it was really delicious, and I think it’s a taste you can only find here. I heard that Yoyogi-Uehara has many small individual shops, and it’s a place where you can find hidden gems, like your own little hideout. Wow, I found that hidden gem! hehe
It was so delicious~ I’m so happy! Well then, I’m going to take a look around Yoyogi-Uehara street. Wow, is this a bookstore or a vintage bookstore? It seems like they sell a lot of dishes here.. Wow, they’re so pretty…
Each shop is really small, but the products are so beautiful that my eyes are drawn to them. Next to Yoyogi-Uehara Station, there’s Yoyogi-Hachiman Station. So I heard that the walk to that side is pretty, so I’m walking there There’s something unique about it, and it’s so pretty.
When I didn’t know much about Yoyogi-Uehara, I wondered why everyone lives there. It’s about a 10-minute train ride to Shibuya and Shinjuku, and there are two subway lines, so it seems convenient to live here. And as I walk around like this, Many people seem to like this calm and sophisticated feeling.
It’s kind of understandable. But if there were only individual shops, it might be inconvenient. There are commercial facilities at Yoyogi-Uehara Station, and there’s Acord Yoyogi-Uehara, so there are many chain stores there. So for things you need or prefer from chains, you can solve them conveniently near the station,
Living like this seems good! It feels like there’s no inconvenience! Since there’s a destination, I walked a lot, it’s Minamal~* Great~ Since I walked a lot, it’s time for a treat. I’m looking forward to it.
They said they only sell about 10 chocolate parfaits a day, so I was worried if they were sold out I was worried they might have run out, but they had it! The dessert I’ve been waiting for has arrived! The staff even explained the menu to me! Thank you!
Here it is~ This~ The staff gave me a detailed explanation like this. What’s really nice about this place’s concept is that it’s all about traveling the world through cocoa, so this parfait I ordered seems to include cocoa from four different countries.
It includes flavors like nuts, and Tanzania has an apple flavor, Colombia has a flavor similar to grape jam~ Since it shouldn’t melt, I’ll try the caramel ice cream from the Philippines. It’s so rich and delicious~ I feel like I haven’t eaten anything like this before~

The texture is really rich. Walking around Yoyogi-Uehara, I didn’t notice any tourists. I feel like this video should be more about how locals enjoy places in Japan. It’s not exactly a tourist hotspot, but when you come all the way to Yoyogi-Uehara, it feels like you’ve made it to the big leagues, right?

I walked around Yoyogi-Uehara town for about four hours today, It’s not exactly a tourist spot, but as a Japanese person, I felt that it’s a very charming place. It’s really unique and sophisticated, and it has the charm of finding your own little hideout treasure. It was so fun

헛.. 요요기 공원인줄 ㅋ 15년전 2009년에 워킹으로 1년있었는데 요요기 공원 자주갔습니다~ 공원안에 농구코트가 있어서 ㅎ 2009년 그해 요요기 공원은 참 더웠는데 ㅎ 맨몸으로 갔던 도쿄에서 1년은 참 좋은 추억과 기억들이 많았습니다. 사람들도 좋았고 도시도 좋았고 음식도 좋았고..ㅎ 올해는 다시 한번 도쿄에 한번 가서 제가 살던곳도 가보려구요~
