When they making plastic from the like the pipes that give it into the air the people might get cancer cuz they’re smelling all that bad fumes and then it breaks the ozone layer yeah it’s ruining our environment and the Animals environment too we all live here but people don’t really care and they
Just want to burn plastic and garbage we don’t actually take our trash we take we give it to different states with and they have to like burn it and the air get smoke it goes inside the air and some of the people get sick and also sometimes it doesn’t go it doesn’t not
All of it gets burned so it goes inside the ocean and it kills our our animals we interviewed adults in the school too what do you know about the plastic pollution problem I know it’s a big problem it’s causing a lot of damage in the seed the animals are eating it f are
Dying then in fifth grade we learned that our street litter goes into the sewer and then goes out into the ocean then the litter gets degraded to become microplastics tiny bits of plastic pieces that go everywhere this is the litter on our beach in New York City all of these could become

今回は、漂着ごみのお話。ニューヨークと西表島双方の子どもたちがビーチクリーンがんばりました！ 世界自然遺産の西表島には外国から大量のプラスチックが流れ着いているんです。でも、日本のごみはハワイなどに流れ着いている。西表の子どもたちが流れ着いたペットボトルがどこからきてるのか、国籍調査をしますよ。そしてニューヨークの海岸には、ニューヨークの道端のポイ捨てゴミが流れ着いています。流れつかないものは大西洋へと出ていってしまう。海はつながっている！
